I'm sorry but I couldn't help but to post this. I usually see little hints of MJ influence in a video but this is a complete rip, from start to finish.

OMggggggggggggg

I think i saw like 5 MJ videos all in one!

Lets see...Billie Jean, Rock With You, In The Closet, Smooth Criminal, and even BLOOD ON THE DANCEFLOOR. I mean really, that video was Blood on the Dancefloor in its entirety minus the salsa vibe. Lol

Good video though. Okay song.

he lacks indenity and he is boring and a dime a dozen as a artist and that sound is so played out.

add chris brown to that list also...when ne-yo 1st came out all his videos look like he studied ushers videos just to get ideas for his own...

What is wrong with these people? I mean, seriously. Can't they do anything even slightly identifiable with them as stand alone artists or does everything have to look like a poor man's MJJ?

Ne-Yo is the most talented of all the wanna bes. He writes good songs. And he has an okay voice. But seriously, this sh*t needs to stop. I don't want to see Chris, Usher, Justin and Ne-Yo do Michael. I only want to see Michael do Michael. They just look sad when they try to be him anyway. The talent isn't there, they aren't gifted enough to duplicate what he is able to do, so they should stop trying to be something they never can.

I personally LOVE the song and vid, and yeah it's a definite tribute to Michael. Doesn't bother me one bit, coz the song is good.

As someone in the thrillercast says, Michael Jackson has just about covered every angle in the music industry that it is very hard for anyone to be original cause MJ has done it all.

This dude even had the nerve to go "woooooo!" at the beginning, hahaha!

Wow.

This is just...obsessive.

I guess you could say that, but I don't believe in that.

I believe that there's ALWAYS room to be original. It never ends in my opinion--the ability to be "original" (I know that seems crazy, but I believe it).

If you're not creative/original enough to think of a way, then step aside and let someone else through! :D

People can be original, but they will have to go inside themselves and expose themselves to the world. This is not allowed for in the industry anymore. Too much m,oney is at stake. All They want is the next Michael Jackson. Can't blame the artist really, they are doing what they are told to do.

for everyone concerned, look at it this way... when Michael does his thing again, it will be obvious that he does it better ;)

dont waste your time hatin' or sweatin' the artist that are influenced by him. Contempt is an ugly color :D

Agreed. I love the song and video. He isn't "copying" Michael. I was just about to say that it looks more like a tribute than anything else.

the longest continuous tribute ever NOT by a tribute artist. LOL Hey I'll go with that.

OK for those of you saying this is a "tribute"...I'm just wondering...

HOW MANY TRIBUTES IS THIS GUY GOING TO HAVE?!!

Look at his videography and tell me he's not jocking Mike in ALMOST all of 'em.

But everything they do is a tribute. Too bad it's supposed to be their own videos, when every single one is excused as "paying homage" to their idol. They could have a least half of their videos be their own, but a good 3/4 are "tributes", which doesn't speak much to them as individuals.

it just shows that other artists like chris brown, justin timberlake and Ne Yo probably look up to Michael....Michael is the one and only that is better than them when it comes to dancing and making music :p

Why do I just feel that Michael's soul once in a while translates to other people's bodies and sh*t?
LOL 'They're out to get yu, they're closing in on every side. They will possess you, unless you change that number on the dial ....
For this is thriller..'
Forget that,
When you're in bed, I'm underneath... You must feel threatened by me.

MJ's ghost will haunt everybody in the music industry. There is no way out.:D

you are right, it doesn't say much for their personal talents ... however, it says a hell of a lot for Michaels talents. As well as his influence on this younger generation of 'artists'.

I understand people are upset and I get why. What escapes me is, why is this a bad thing ?? Michael Jackson's stamp has been put on an entire generation of entertainers and it is blatently obvious to all ... why is that bad ??

Sure, the easy thing to do is be pissed off ... look at the larger picture and how it will effect Michael's legacy. These entertainers are so influenced by his artistry, that they cannot help but show it in their own work.

Let's think of the people in music history that have had that type of influence on people. Can we name any ?? If you can, look at their legacy ... does it compare to Michael's ??

Stop being upset for a second and evaluate the situation :winking2:

Chris clown is another story lol

See that would be great and id accept that if I did hear people who are fans of CB and them constantly say that they are the ish and MJ's nothing special or irrelevant.

LOL @ fans of the MJ clones thinking MJ is irrelevant when their heroes are doing things MJ did YEARS ago! They're just as bad as some of you who don't understand why they keep on swagger-jacking him.

YES I SAID IT: SWAGGER-JACKER!

Its crap.

It's a "bad thing" because it makes you realize how unoriginal, uncreative, and lazy people are becoming in this industry. And it's SAD. Music and entertainment is supposed to be about exploration, invention, imagination, and creativity.

But everyone just wants to be a clone, and it sucks. They can't think of anything else, so they just go with the formula. This is why people are so bored with popular music these days and go looking under rocks for some good music.

Everyone knows these guys imitate and love Michael, if anything thats more promo for MJ, IN A GOOD ASS WAY. The tabloids act like hes over but his legacy is forever present

none of y'all addressed my query ... itz all good though, keep being pissed wtf do I care

peace & chicken greeze :chichi:
