Along with Speechless 2000 Watts is my favorite song off Invincible. Quincy Jones said on the Bad special Addition album that Michael is always thinking outside of the box and i think that 2000 Watts is another perfect example of that.
 
id have to agree on that...2000 watts is one of my favorites to listen to in the car...i love the deepness of the vocals..its a different sound

I didn't really like this song for a long time but gotta say it's my most played MJ song at the moment and i'm loving it :wild:
 
It grew on me, I love it now too.. And I'm of the opinion that MJ's voice was indeed edited but yeah it goes along with that whole technology theme going on in the song. Ofcors MJ gon Deny it, anything that can be contrued as negative he tries to run away from,lol!
 
MJ's voice wasn't edited in this song. MJ can sing low notes aswell as high notes

I know MJ has a really deep voice but the editing in his voice in 2000 watts is very audible. Thers nothing wrong if he did, 2000 watts demands that kind of atleration because of the theme.
 
it sucked and it still sucks and it will allways suck....
 
why are you wasting your time on a thread for a song you don't evan like?
 
really not keen on 2000 watts myself, the lyrics are too difficult to hear and understand, the music itself is good though.
 
i have to say it is a very very VERY poor song! it´s something an amature can make on a synth in 15 min.
 
Wow I really like it along with Threatened. The lyrics are a bit repetitive though.
In fact am going to listen to in now, I havent heard it in ages, got a bit tired of it I guess I loved it at first but....I guess I over played it maybe.

Bless Michael, with his sexual undertones. lol. Its a good song, was nice to hear him singing deeply. Made a cool change *nods*
 
Weird!! I was just about finished Reading the last few posts and as I'm listening to michael on shuffle on my iPod, suddenly 2000 watts came on!! Spooky. But staying on topic I love this song, always reminds me of the sounds of the bands that were around at the time, like n'sync and backstreet boys and stuff like, with electronic sounding music. IMHO I prefer MJs, its far better then boyband rubbish. Lol
 
I enjoy the technique and sound but the topic is a bit off for me..
 
It's great song to listen in the mornings. I used to listen to it before school when I was so sleepy. It helps :lol:
