im been really thick but can someone point out the mj bits he sings the first verse but does he sing the chorus aswell? second verse?

First of all, THIS IS AKON's SONG FEATURING Michael. I like it. And even if this was a Michael's song, I would still like it. Michael has done it all and it would just remind me that he is doing WHAT HE like now music wise. Michael does NOT need to try to please everyone (NO one is going to like every thing Michael do regardless if they are fans or not. Even songs off of Thriller was not liked by everyone back in 1982. Can you believe I did not like the song "Billie Jean" when I first heard it back in 1983 but it grew on me; and when the Motown 25 anniversity was shown, I fell in love with the song even more). So again, I am happy for Michael and hope that this is his "baby step" into coming back on the scene.

It should be the 1st single off Akon's next Album Acquitted that's rumoured to be coming out during August, with this song rumoured to be released (with music video) around Late July.

It all makes sense! ;)

Try downloading a clearer mp3 file and listening on a headphone. That's what I did and I'm hearing MJ's vocals better. :wub:

Michael does the very first verse. :wild: And in my opinion is not "MJ JUST singing ONE verse" thing. He sings all over the song.:yes: You can clearly hear his Yeah...oh ohh...Uh uhh 'hold my hand' all over the song. Amazing!

Personally I still don't like Akon. The song itself.. is just alright to me. OF COURSE I am happy to hear Michael singing again. I just dislike Akon. If it was Will.I.AM I'd be more excited.

Depends what the agreement was between MJ and Akon. It could be just a "I'll sing on WBSS and you sing on Hold My Hand" Agreement etc.
