Hi..

Obviously just speculation at this stage but below are tweets by Johnathan Ross (@wossy - major UK chat show host) on Twitter for you to draw your own conclusions...

Wossy Am going to bed with Jane to watch TV and catch up on her day. But have had EXCITING news re HUGE STAR to be on show in Sept ! Just HUGE !!

Wossy I can't name star yet in case it falls through. But it is kind of epic. Not a clue btw.

Wossy @oblahblahma Not President O, sadly. Showbiz star. But can't say yet ! Aaargh !

Wossy Gotta go. Sorry I can't say yet - just wanted to share my excitement ! goodnight x

Sabina25 @wossy it's got to be Robert de Niro or Al Pacino... they are like MEGA! Please confirm it's Bob when you can!

Wossy @sabina25 Bigger.

What do you all think??

ha ha...it betta be Mike, ain't all that many BIGGER than De Niro and Pacino.

while MJ is epic in comparison to all others. Ross maybe excited about someone HE admires? He has odd tastes, he once did a documentary on some comic creature and was all hyped over meeting him, so maybe MJ may not be the one. Anyway, I think we have had MORE than enough MJ interviews, they don't go well!
But if he did Ross it would be a positive interview he doesn't attack his guests, but he also doesn't get good responses. His madonna interviews were not great in my view to soft.
Check what albums and films are due for september releases maybe that will give us more info? Steven Speilberg would be epic! it's all a matter of opinion, Oprah etc...

Isn't he a gigantic Bowie fan? I'd consider that epic since he hasn't really done much in the last few years due to his health.

Purely speculation but if this is true then maybe MJ is releasing an album between the 2 legs of the tour ie Sep-Dec 2009

Johnathon Ross would be great he's done things in the past when you think oh my god you shouldn't have said that but he is a real softy i think he would be ok with mike.

Can't see it happeing though but you never know. I think michael doing shows like this would be amazing he needs to be himself and be honest let people see the real mike.

If mike goes in with the i don't give a shit attitude then it can't do him any harm

I would love it to be David Bowie as I'm also a huge Bowie fan. But David Bowie has already been on his show twice (and I was at the first interview in 2002), once in 2002 and then in 2004. I presume his special guest who's a huge name is someone who's never appeared on the show before. I hope it is Michael, but I doubt it and Robert DeNiro would be cool.

I'm not sure Jonathan Ross's interview style is really suited to MJ's demeanor :p

I agree with you. Even though Jonathan Ross does make to odd joke about Michael, I think he'd really like Michael if he meet him. Jonathan Ross has very simular interests, such as collecting toys, comics etc. I'd love him to interview Michael but I doubt it will ever happen because of Michael's demeanor.

I applied for tickets to his show last year and they only turned up last week for next weeks recording! So took a while but heres how you get them you have to send a SAE to

FNWJR
PO Box 58378
London
NW1W 9QW

I think if we all put on the envelope we want to see Michael! lol we may have a chance!!

if this is true, i hope mike knows that if he goes on that show he will pock fun at him etc..even when he leaves the show. So mike don't do it. Plus i hate Jothnth ross anyway and plus he never has a good thing to say.

epic superstar they said ? then its obvious its gonna be eminem

He was on last week, and on twitter everyone who has asked if its michael he hasnt replied to them , everyone thats asked if its anyone else he has said no!!

I am gonna ask him next week oooooooooo i do hope so and gonna out right ask for tickets :D

Jonathan Ross did a great interview with Janet a few years ago and he was was very respectful to her, and she appeared to really enjoy the interview. He did say something alone the lines that he thought Michael was mad, but was very respectful to her when she answered and combated his question and view of Michael.

Here is the Janet Jackson being interviewed by Jonathan Ross. They talk about Michael in Part 2, min 2.29.

dont want to be negative but I hope he is not going on this show....it is really not his cup of cake..

Well I'm a great really like Jonathan Ross, but I agree with you that Jonathan Ross's show isn't really suited to Michael. The person I would most like to see Michael in UK television is Sir David Frost.

I like Ross's show a lot...but really dont think MJ would be as good as Janet...Janet is very open and easy to chat to...remember when various people tried "chatting" to MJ...no offense but it wouldnt go down well...

Like back in the days when he went to this massive German Show Wetten dass ...amazing host, really good fellow that guy, manages to chat to anyone...like he got Madonna to call a random german phone number and sing in German, I recall he got JT to play football in the studio.. so he is really cool and easygoing..MJ went there, he made an announcement and was really happy with the bunch of flowers placed by his couch as a deco...he was lost in those flowers...poor fellow Thomas tried to "chat"..and it just didnt work...

I am negative or whatever but I cant see MJ talking to Ross in front of a live TV audience for 15mins...please MJ prove me wrong :agree:

You know what, if MJ went on Jonathan Ross, I reckon it would be an hour long special devoted just to Michael. If went on there then I'm not sure how it would go, Ross can be nice and respectful sometimes but then there's other times where he's gone too far and been disrespectful. I doubt Michael would go on it unless the questions he asks were pre-approved that's why I'm thinking it might be an hour long special.
