A email I got 4 days before he passed

....Kenny Ortega was going on and on about the shows on his Twitter page. It was always : "this is my greatest project" , "my dream is coming true".....never once did he mention Michael, or anyone else. It was me, me, me. I replied to his tweets, sent him private messages asking him "it's nice that you're so excited, but did you or anyone in the crew ever bother to ask Michael how he's doing? Make small talk with him to see how he feels?". Needless to say, he never replied and the 'me' tweets went on.

So what the person in this email says, is true. The people involved in the project only cared about 1 thing: THEIR dream. THEIR this is it. THEIR career. Working with Michael was not great for Michael, it was great for THEM.

Not ONE person in the room noticed Michael was frail....not one.

I feel sick.

I will ask again...if there are any moderators here PLEASE close this thread before the media gets wind of this. THis is just wrong Michael doesn't need anything else said about him. Please just close this thread. If I hear about this on the news now I will be Pissed, because I will know where it came from.

Michael wanted to be well enough to perform for his fans. He enlisted the help of certain people to try and make that happen. There were times his energy level was up. He was getting enough rest, keeping his strength up ... they made a point to capitalize on those times.

d e l e t e i t !

LF also said he was able to do the workout without a problem. A "scarily skinny" person or an anorexic would not have been able to do anything.

I just think we need to step back here, and wait.

Those emails are legit.
I totally agree with Trish.
However I find it strange that Kenny Ortega/dancers/Orianthi kept fans updated with exciting news from rehearsals on his twitter account.

Btw, can't there be a password-protected private forum to discuss such things? I can already see these emails published on tabloids.

Let me say something controversial here (I'm afraid): Michael has been responsible for his actions himself. If he didn't eat... he's the one that didn't. And if he went to doctors for the wrong reasons... it's has been his own decision. But...

You can get in a frame of mind that causes you to take the wrong decisions, not realising that what you do is dangerous. And for that, many people have been responsible. I don't know the exact point where it went wrong. It's a long list of small events, that led up to bigger events. It's a coming and going of people who had no problem trying to get as much out of Michael as they could. And then some more. And bit by bit, piece by piece... Michael was losing out. And I'm not even talking about money here. He was slowly being destroyed. Yes, he has his own responsibility in letting it happen... but the forces against him were too strong in the end.

They killed him... no matter who, and in what shape or form. And after his death, they step on the grave he doesn't even have yet.

That's what I was thinking. I can understand the producers lying, but how about the dancers or his close friends? Some of them they were big fans too.
It's easy to imagine things retrospectively. I personally couldn't see any tiredness in March, I was there.

i think he looked fine in march too but not by the time of the rehearsals

I could see it too.

This was my biggest nighmare.I never wanted to talk to someone what i see in the March announce. It was different...I was shocked when i saw it but i told to myself - Don't worry... stop thinking negative... he is fine... my sense was right... something was terrable wrong

I didn't think he looked good there either. But then I watched the interview of the guy that was standing next to him (I can't remember his name) and he said M was surprisingly muscular when he hugged him so I didn't want to worry much. He has always been very skinny anyway.

I'm not sure what to believe anymore. Some say he was in great shape, the best shape and passed his physical with flying colors. Others say he looked terrible. Someone is lying somewhere... *sigh*

A Senior staff member began this thread intentionally. Senior staff, myself included, are posting here, and the thread will remain OPEN, and moderators know that.

If there is a truth out there about the real reason why Michael died, then media SHOULD investigate what that truth is. Given all the horrific garbage already out there, this email, that began this thread, does NOT cast Michael in a bad light. It's important for Michael's legacy and for the sake of his children, that the reasons for his death be known. Surely you must understand that? We are not accusing ANYONE here . . . just raising questions. There are two conflicting versions of Michael's condition before he died. Some say he was too thin and weak, and was being pushed beyond his physical capacity. Others are saying he was in great shape. Both versions cannnot be true. I would think that most people would want to KNOW which was true, for closure?

I do understand that this thread is upsetting some people. I hope you won't read here anymore for your own peace-of-mind and what you need, to take care of yourselves now? But for others, closure is important, and I hope everyone can understand that, too.

this needs to be on CNN, MSNBC, FOXNews, Skynews etc. the thread is going to stay

you think they want to let those responsible for their father's death, just go unpunished ??

"The truth will set you free"

That is not what I'm saying at all. Speculation won't help anyone at this stage. The only people it will help is the media who want to get tv ratings and newspaper sales.
The way I see it, at this point in time, a post like this getting out into the media will only do more harm than good. We need to wait for the damn autopsy reports! Let the LAPD do their jobs and continue with the investigation.
To say that somehow AEG or Kenny or whoever is somehow accountable for a supposed eating disorder that MICHAEL may have had is a plain irresponsible thing to say.
If Michael had a problem, then it was Michael's problem and no one elses. His health was his repsonsibility and it was his duty to himself and his children to take care of his health. If there was something wrong and he was deliberately not telling anyone, or refusing help, then no one can be held responsible for MJ being stubborn.

Dang! How did I miss this thread! How upsetting to read that email...

IMHO, when we see him at the London This is It Announcement, to ME he did not look anorexic.... I regret to say and admit this, but I should know as I was anorexic for almost 4 years. I almost died and this just shortly after Karen Carpenter died.. (she died due to heart failure just as she was getting better with her years of Anorexia) Talk about a wake up call...

Any way, if you view his face it does not look gaunt and sunken in as with most that have anorexia:

But then again, I did not see what he looked like underneath all the clothes- it's even hard to tell in the THIS IS IT rehearsal video...

This one of his best 2000 - 2009 period pics!

i was shocked to see how thin he looked at the press conference, but i truelly thought looking at recent pictures that he had gain abit of weight,

this is not an eating disorder we are talking about ... nobody is saying Michael had an eating disorder. Dude was thinner than usual for other reasons.

I think everything was too much for him...making 50 concerts, the health problems(which he had because he was seeing a doctor every day), too much medications, stress, evil people around his neck... It end with the most tragic way...

How about we wait until the autopsy reports? Then we can talk about it again...?

In my opinion, he looked WAY WORSE from 2000-2004 or so than recently. I agree that in 2009 he looked his best so far in this millenium.

aw if that email is true that makes me sad.

makes me wish i could of somehow helped him
because i think i could of

even if he was unhealthily skinny though, i dont think Michael would let that stop him trying to do his shows, i think he probably felt he really wanted to prove he could still do everything he used to do, and him being the perfectionist he was, probably didnt help to.
i think all he wanted to do was put on a good show to make him, his kids and us fans proud.
and that makes me feel sadder

Absolutely, the thread will stay. For those who do not understand why. . I guess I don't understand why you don't? This is not negative toward Michael, at all. The email expresses concern for him. . . . a concern that if warranted, and I think it was. . .was ignored by those connected to the concerts.

This deserves to be investigated. I sincerely hope journalists are trolling here today.

And if this is too upsetting for some? It IS very upsetting, and if it's too much for you at this time, I totally understand. But then, please don't keep reading here and getting more upset? Just take care of yourselves, ok?

Um, Kenny frequently mentioned how rehearsals were going great and how the whole team was excited about the prospect of the shows.
They were under a confidentiality agreement not to talk about the specifics. Kenny was only allowed to be vague about it.
And he probably didn't see your tweets. If he's not following you (which he isn't, because he isn't following anyone) then it won't always show up in the timeline. Around late June he had over 2500 followers, and was probably bombarded with stupid questions every hour of the day. He probably didn't even see yours. Also, remember Kenny was and still is a very busy man? What makes you think he had time to respond to you?

Yeah he maybe looked worse in other ways but his body was way more healthy ...
