Oprah Remembers Michael Jackson

the thing is... I wish I could ask Oprah...how would she feel... if when she passes... someone does a show on her and say...'' we will never know if she and Gale were lovers...and Stedman was just a gimmick"...

what is that is the high-point of what they remember or state... about her legacy...after all she had accomplished................

people in glass houses............always throwing stones...

Haha. This really isn't funny. I'm dreading hearing what she's going to say. But the thought of that ^ happening...it's so spot-on, it makes me laugh.

What time is it on?

4pm on the east coast, US.

...I'mma wait and hope and pray someone uploads it to Youtube, tho. Yesterday, the Whitney interview was up within minutes of airing... And I'd be shocked if it wasn't immediately posted on this site too. http://www.urbanmusicdirect.com/ I'm not too worried. I'll find it. I just hope I don't haveta' wait more than half an hour, 'cause I'm already antsy. =/

When Oprah is telling shit on the show please let us all do something against her in full force let us all bombard her with emails. Let wait and see how it will turn out but if she ´s hating let´s strike back immediatley in full force.

Has it started? They're already talking about it over at KOP board.... *confused*

OK....the Vitiligo video?!?!?!?!?! WTF Oprah? Could you make him sound any more like a non-human?

I'm gonna watch this show after class...but I have a feeling i'm not gonna like it too much. She's way too biased for me. And she's extremely insincere. Plus, she never got to know him like others did. She only interviewed him, and there was CLEARLY an invisible wall separating her from Mike.

Oh wow...I thought she confirmed what most of the public fail to get. That vitiligo is a lost of pigmentation. I didn't think she made him sound non human at all!

well, for me it was just the way she spoke of it. I don't literally know what anyone looks like in person who has vitiligo, but she spoke of it like he had leprosy to me.

It comes on at 9 a.m. in Chicago. Just went off the air. I only caught snippets running back and forth into the boss' office so I can't form an overall opinion, except I'm having one of those moments where I'm overwhelmed with sadness again about his loss.

Any opinion on the show??? How was it??

Again, I didn't see a lot. But what I did see didn't infuriate me, which I expected to happen.

But just catching the excerpts again of Michael walking around his home and realizing how his beautiful home was destroyed to him to the point that he never wanted to go back to it breaks my heart all over again.

:clapping: If only someone would ask her that to her face.

Thank you. I thought her excitement about going to NVRland was amusing. :)

yes they showed the human nature clip from TII, and some old clip of michael having a pillow fight as a child. cute.
i enjoyed the show. it was a sit down format, no audience. she was respectful. and she made no assumption she was really friends with him. she wasn't fake. she made it clear that her and michael werent friends, and it was only an interview she did back in the day.
she spoke of behind the scenes of the interview she did. i think it is a good show for fans to watch in the end.
she has a story of her makeup artist (i think) that got sick from eating too much candy all day at neverland and had to go the hospital, ... saying how its a dream for anyone to go there and enjoy themselves and be like a kid again and eat all they want to even if they are adults and cant do that no more. haha (eat alot)

on vitiligo....i dont see what was wrong on what she said on that subject, she was only stating what people saw looking at his hands, she never said i dont believe he had vitiligo. personally i wished michael would of said more in the interview so people would understand the disease more and ...him.
on the plastic surgeries, she did not believe he had to 2 procedures, or how michael put it ''you can count it on two fingers''. well guess what i agree with oprah, im not a blind fan, but she wasn't cruel about it.
also how michael said ''you can read about his surgeries in his book moonwalker'' oprah disliked that he said that, because no interviewer likes that response from interviewees...haha well i have to agree. but she was nice about it. and how michael got irritated by her plastic surgery questions. and that she had to change the topic to keep him with her.
she believed how michael and elizabeth taylor could be so close from their upbringing.
she said how nervous she was when she was going to interview michael from around the world. that she simply was there to have a conversation with him and not have her and michael run through the questions before hand.
she said her and michael talked off camera about his father, and said she rather keep that private, and i respect her for that.
all in all it was good show. i know fans want to nit pick everything she says, but im over it, its time to let go. theres fans who will insult other fans even, and it gets old. michael wasnt perfect , oprah isnt perfect.

looking back at the interview i dont think michael was 100% truthful. and again she said nothing awful, only fans who want everything perfect, would insult this particular show (anyway). it wasnt bad.

btw i saw latoya on The View right after. i forgot she was on. and it was a good show. she talked about dr murray at first, saying he has not yet talked to the family (from what i recall, but then went straight into the regular gabber around the table with the ladies and talked about other hot topics, it was nice. i guess she will be on again tomorrow or friday.

anyway im done with this oprah hate. oprah has shows on people she loves, likes, dislikes, that she feels lukewarm about. why should a show on michael be any different for ratings, hes in the news now. so of course a show would happen. she gets ratings for whitney too.
she has shows to talk about what she thinks. she was respectful to his family, and fans in this one i personally think. moving on.

Thanks MM for the summary. Did she show behind the scenes clips or just speak about behind the scenes incidents? Was there rare footage shown?

Marilyn Monroe

Thanks for the recap. Can't wait til I get home to see it all.

Micheal wasn't perfect because he was under a microscpoe all the bloody time..How can you be allowed to be a human being when your every breath is recorded and talked about by the likes of Talk show hosts, tabloids and Diane D type people.
Michael was human People don't ever forget that..He is allowed to make mistakes..that is why we love him so. He did everything for us Fans, even when he was suffering from dancer's feet he came out and danced for us..he never showed us that he was in extreme pain.
What has Oprah done, but asked him embarrassing questions. He is our Icon and should be treated that way..
The way she speaks it is like she has a hidden agenda attached to her qusetions..

Did someone tape the show?
I see you can watch the show if u missed it on her website, but that's only for US peepz....so I can't watch it there.

Did she say where she at when she heard the news of MJ's death? And what was her reaction?
