eminem's song about michael

Gosh, I hate that!! and MJ sued him about it, didn't he?
I remember when I watched it first time, I was like :wtf:. Disgusting.
I hate in Eminem thing that he only bases at jeering at others. He doesn't have his own ideas or something like this?!
though I like his 2 or 3 songs.
 
He really thinks he has the right to sing (badly) about anybody else? His Mother sued him because of what he said in one his songs! You know you've got problems when your own Mum sues you...

I've just read that Michael said he was just thinking of/threatening sue to him. Eminem did apologize though, not that it makes it right and apparently they were OK after that. I've just seen this on another site, somebody posted:

"michael jackson he's so sensitive man it's just a bit of fun"
He's so sensitive?!! After all the sh*t he's put up with and never faught or said anything back? Yeah he is sensitive but Michael has put up with tonnes of crap over the years but soldiered on and somebody still thinks they have the right to say that?
 
Em did say sorry to MJ the video was all for jokes but he didn't think every body was going to take the hair getting caught on fire seriously but Michael did and address him I think Michael Had a talk over the phone with dre and 50cent cause Michael was so piss off he pop off on Em interscope records was about to get sued hard

Yeah, he could have destroyed them and he didn't. In a way its almost a shame he didn't.
 
This was a huge controversy at the time, Michael successfully got BET to pull the video and many artists were outraged by it, Michael obviously included, he called it BS directly on air in what I believe was an interview with Geraldo.

In reality, there is something like 4+ songs and skits on that album that directly and indirectly attack Michael. I find it pathetic when an artist feels the need to rely on controversy and celeb name-dropping to sell more records. Eminem disgusts me.
 
Normally I would not even give thought to this type of thing.

but what is it with society these days... that it makes it okay to do something, if you say sorry afterwards... WTF - it is not okay - just don't do it and be kind..

Pretty shitty on Eminems part, according to an interview with Davd Guest he was one of Michaels current favourite artists...
 
eminem is just trash that can only get attention by making "jokes" about other people in his so called music. Look what he did to Mariah, that was disgusting too. He needs to be banned and how the hell did he get in the AMAs.
 
Michael eventually ended up with the rights to M&M's music anyways so in the end MJ got the last laugh. Teenagers thinking they are being cool at MJ's expense while they sing along not knowing that the pofits from the cd they just bought actually went straight in Michael Jackson's pocket :)

Word. Thx God, EMINEM is history already. Nobody cares about M&M anymore. He's always been disgusting to me.

I thought Eminem was ok before he did that. I don't understand why he did it. Probably jealous or something. Or maybe he just hasn't got anything better to do!! Didn't Eminem disrespect Elvis too?

And yes you do have a problem when your own mother sues you!!!!
 
I think we all need to remember that this did ruin eminems career when he released this song... so much so he never had a massive hit untill this year! he had to go into a mini retirement.. I also heard Eminem was actually a MJ fan (even tho this is very disgracful) if the guy can rap about his own mother i dont think he ment any real harm. I also heard that the song "stan" was about Michael Jackson cause he used to write letters to mj as a child and mj never replied i forgot were i heard this but im pretty sure it was a true fact. anyway I aint saying this is right, but people will always joke and diss others no matter who they are. and sadly this one is about MJ

lol. i'd like to know where exactly u got that news from. because the song is about a man "in love" with another man. and the reason why the guy doesn't respond to stan's notes is because he knows stan is gay, but he isn't.

wow. I remember in junior high, these boys would talk bad things about Michael while they were into Eminem and those other rappers. little did they know they were putting money right in Michael's pockets.

I wonder why Michael bought M&M's music. Does he like the music? or what?

I wonder what other music mj owns besides the beatles and eminem.

I remember saying that to this kid on the train that called me sad because I was listening to MJ on my mp3 player. He told me I should like someone cool like Eminem, then he proceeded to play Eminem really loud on his phone. I told him that 'you do know that Michael Jackson owns the rights to that song right? So basically that Eminem CD you've just bought, a hefty chunk of that goes directly to Mr Jackson.'
