eminem's song about michael

Michael eventually ended up with the rights to M&M's music anyways so in the end MJ got the last laugh. Teenagers thinking they are being cool at MJ's expense while they sing along not knowing that the pofits from the cd they just bought actually went straight in Michael Jackson's pocket :)

Seen as he owns it, can he not stop the video being played on the tv then? Or is that seperate?

edit: sh#t i just refered to him in the present tense. for a minute there i thought..
wow, i need to go to sleep I think.

Eminem is not even talented, he's just trying to catch attention by making fun of legends just like Michael and Mariah, otherwise he's just a loser gangsta wannabe!

MJ's Response! which is the best and really clever, i guess eminem should have beeen ashamed of himself at that moment!

Great artist do not do that =D

That was great. Michael is a class act and Stevie is just amazing

Oh Michael. 'Mr. Eminem' 'its silly, its kinda elementary, i hope he's having fun' haah!

I always hated Eminem since that his retarded video aired. I always hated his hurtful joke towards other artists and Michael was right that he shouldn't do that. During that period I used to call him "Emin-Ass"

mj would never take a dig outright...i love the way he says mr eminem and does a sly laugh probbly at the absurdity of eminem's name..but even in this he is respectful and honourable whenothers wouldhave started beef...He says great artists don't do that so he is giving eminem the option of considering himself great and re thinking what he wants to do in his music..mj as alot of respect for eminem and thinks highly of him and is trying to teach him how to have longeitvy...unbeivably nice really considering what he was making fun off..when this came out we had no ide of the actuallit of that day and what it must have been like..it would haunt anyone and we could not relate because we never saw the footage..sadly now we have seen it...so imagine the mindset of te person it happened too and having to see it re created in a music video...thas was an awful day for mj and we undertand it more because we have seen it now..emnem didn't contemplate the footage being released and saw it as a comincal joke and something to make fun off..I bet he thinks differently now when he saw the new footage for the first time

I remember this, ugh, I hate Eminem for that...

But I remember I read Eminem saying that he thought Invincible was a really good album, that he had listened to the whole cd, and that it was very good, and very underrated and not gotten the credit it really deserved cause it was so good.
I was surprised by hearing him say that..positively surprised.

It was a low blow. Mike owns the rights to Em's music though sooooo.... yeah.

i hate eminem.. hate him so much for that..
And when I look at peoples comment about that song... makes me feel so sad when they call him gay, pedophile etc...
OMG I HATE TO SAY THAT :(
people are so ignorant today

What i hate most about Eminem is that whenever someone makes fun of him, he compleatly freaks and out and tries to take them to court to he can sue them. His Wife made a song and in the song she made fun of Eminem and Eminem tried to take her to court and sue her

He can dish it out but he can't take it

I remember saying that to this kid on the train that called me sad because I was listening to MJ on my mp3 player. He told me I should like someone cool like Eminem, then he proceeded to play Eminem really loud on his phone. I told him that 'you do know that Michael Jackson owns the rights to that song right? So basically that Eminem CD you've just bought, a hefty chunk of that goes directly to Mr Jackson.'
That turns a lot of ppl off, let them b*** and f*** all they want. Bless Michael he was always too nice to ppl that M&M didnt deserve to be called "mr" I woulda cussed his ass out as immature as I am, but Michael handleded the situation with maturity. Bless him. A shame to think that outta the two of them MJ and M&M, its M&M who is still alive.

didn't MJ eventually end up with the right sto Eminem's music? If true than really MJ was the one with the last laugh.

Yea I read that and the interview where he said he is a fan. But, it don't mean a damn thing. Michael coulda died in that Pepsi accident and this sorry ass put that on the vid and try to make money off of it? And then turn around and call yourself a "fan"? I'm sick and tired of so-called fans like that MF.

And he got the f***ing nerve to talk about him now. Dunno if this was posted before, but for those who haven't seen it...Here you go:
http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1627312/20091201/eminem.jhtml

Even if he had praised him, I wouldn't be impressed at all. So, when I read this last week, it got on my damn nerves and still does:angry: He is one of those I don't wanna see running they mouths on MJ.

thanks for posting that video, michael is soooo cute :)

(sorry for getting ot LOL)

Yep yep, from what i understand Michael did had the rights to alot of songs. Among them some Eminem songs. Brilliant.

Anyway...

Michael didn't exactly diss him back, but if you think about what Mike said...
it was the very best way he could adress Eminem on this :

Real artists don't insult eachother, it's not nessecary

It was something along those lines, and think about it. It's 100% true, basically he calls Em 'Not a real artist' . :)

Ugh...I hate Eminem.
As Michael said, TRUE performers would never disrespect others. It just shows you that without making fun of people, Mr. Eminem would be nothing!

Old and boring subject, with old and boring responses. Eminem apologized, and he never apologizes for anything he says. Doesn't make it any less ****ed up, sure, but the fact that this subject can still inspire a four page discussion filled with over-zealous fangirl attacks on Eminem as a person/artist is sad in its own right.

He takes potshots at any and all celebrities for laughs and he thought this would be the same, but the only difference was that Michael was going through the trial at the time and this song/video promoted the then growing public perception of Michael as a pedophile. It showed poor judgment, but I let it go... if not for the apology and if not for the time elasped, then for no other reason than I am so freakin' tired of hearing other Michael Jackson fans STILL talking about it.

I just laugh at his face because Michael's records are selling like hotcakes...

Because if Eminem died today his record sales wouldn't soar...? Hell, if Em died I don't think it would be a question anymore as to whether or not he's bigger than 2Pac. He would officially become the most popular rapper of all-time, if he isn't already.

While no one cares about Eminem anymore..

"Relapse debuted #1 on the U.S. albums chart, selling over 608,000 domestic copies in the U.S and 1,061,000 worldwide on the first week. The album has sold over 1,568,000 copies in the United States alone." - wiki

And I'm pretty confident it's the highest selling rap album of the year too, though I can't verify that.

He was also voted by fans as the greatest MC alive on Vibe Magazine by 69% of the vote.

BTW, isn't Eminem also the highest selling artist of this entire DECADE? I wish I could be a failure like him. Something tells me that I could even deal with random people on the Internet "laughing in my face" if I were in his shoes.

"He's aiming to make a better-rounded album with the Relapse sequel, he explained.

Making Relapse, I was still working the drugs out of my system, so there was a lot of ... just jokey sh--," he explained. "It was a lot of punch line-y, funny, shock value — kind of going back to The Slim Shady LP. And that was cool, but I've kind of flipped the page. Now I'm going for songs instead of one-liners. I don't want to make sh-- that you hear once and then the joke's over — I want to make records that you could play a hundred times, a thousand times."

*excited*

YAAAAAAAAAAY!!! Thanks for the link. Brightened my day a little.

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Old news

This is old news and it was a complete insult to MJ and the black community who were very big supporters of Eminem. Michael had asked for MTV, VH1, BET and other media to pull the song and video. BET complied, but MTV did not. When thousands of fans protested outside of MTV studios, the video was pulled. Michael bought the rights to his music and Eminem went into hiding for several years. He should know you can't be a music artist and attack the Big Dog! Always comes back to bite you in the end. It's unfortunate that he's back now though.

Eminem is about as educated and worthy of an opinion as any of his trailer-trash fans. Why should I CARE about Eminem? Michael, in an interview with Geraldo Rivera, said that "great artists have no need to do that [attack other artists]". I agree with Michael, naturally.

His career is based on making a joke out of other people! He makes me sick!

:clapping::clapping::clapping:

I hate Eminem, his ignorance outweighs his talent

Wow, defending him huh?

I'm sorry I have no respect to him whatsoever...

It's weird how I grew up with his music yet I feel nothing over his songs...

Even back in the day when I wasn't a MJ fan, I still thought he was one disturbing dude.
Eminem is disgusting... I feel so sorry for Mike. Do you even understand what he did? Even if he apologizes, nothing makes it okay. That video will be available to watch for forever. Eminem did not just HURT Michael, he hurt millions of people who love Michael.

I could care less if according to you, "he's the best..." Puh-lease...

In comparison to Michael, he's nothing... the legacy, the hits, the fans...

My grandparents don't even know who he is. He's so lame, now. I didn't even know he has an album out. Also, if he drops dead the next day (hopefully not), his album will not sold as much as Michael worldwide. He doesn't have the appeal like Mike in a global perspective.

Also, Eminem needs pple laughing at his ass too! If he can do it to others, why can't we? See, we're just learning from his immature ass!

It's no surprise to me that he sold the most in this decade as this generation is messed up. They rather listen to 'diss' songs, disgusting, and chauvinistic songs than to real art.

You can like his music or whatever but don't go all preachin about me about that DUDE because I dislike Eminem.

I don't wanna start an argument cuz I'm all about the L.O.V.E. on here

but I think most fans including myself are more upset at the fact that what he did was insensitive.

Making fun of his accident? do you know Michael could have died or been really injured?? and I dont recall him apologizing, I recall him saying he hit a nerve.
