UPDATE - page 1/13/14 - TV Alert: True Crime with Aphrodite Jones - Tune In (All threads Merged!)

Enough complaining! This was a great documentary, I really enjoyed it. Sure it didn't reveal anything to hardcore MJ fans, but as for the general public it was very informative and provided a bunch of solid facts to back up her opinion. I requested it be released on DVD so I can have a copy for myself and show people who doubt MJ's innocence.

thanks for the links ,,,i think he was so happy at the last years of his life ,ofcourse his business was tough , but as human he was at peace with himself , able to live they way wanted without stress .also being a father of three adorable kids filled his heart with joy.

Bedsores are wound and people get them when they stay in bed without moving for some time ( couple days, mounts, years when they are ill ).Bedsores usually occur at particular parts of the body that have no muscle tissue or it is so tin; at that particular parts exists only subcutaneous tissue and it tin and poor in blood vessels and flow of the oxygen are very poor physiological and when people stay in bed too long situation get worst and flow of the oxygen stops and tissue starts to die and than you have bedsores; they are opened wounds and it is hard to prevent them if the person sty in bed a long time of period and healing are very slow without moving. usually occur at Joints, lover parts of back, coccyx.

p.s. I hope you understand, my English is not good enough

I thought it was great! I am really glad she focused on Tom Sneddon's vendetta, and that Evan Chandler claimed to have given his son Sodium Amytal right before he supposedly told of the allegations. Those are very key details in this saga.

I couldn't agree more -_-

Enough is enough. I understand that in view of our current situation asking for being a bit more "positive" is almost a slap on our faces, but then... we have to try to do so at some extent. I am faaaaar away from being Lady Hapiness or Miss Positive Thinking (just take a look at the "Goodnight, Michael" thread ), but in this case I truly feel we must try hard to be a bit more positive.

Someone has to start and if we, fans, don't support that start and just concentrate on what was left out/bad.... ggeeeeezzzzz... we are already lost

I'm glad AJ did this. I hope more and better will come, not only from her, but from more and different sources.

just seen it.... im sad, its all i ever said, FOR ONCE THEY WERE SAYING THE THRUTH, even though Michalel's gone, and i wish he was here, at least some will finally KNOW.

Love you Michael, you live on, FOREVER

I think Aprodite and TMez did a great documentary...there are many videos for both of them on You Tube defending Michael ....they are trying as much as we do to clean MJ's name...

we must give them full support.

Thanks for uploading! I was so miffed when my Hotel didn't have the channel...

Sure, hardcore Michael Fans didn't see anything new- I didn't expect it either. I also didn't expect every detail from thousands of pages of court transcripts being squished into one hour of TV with God knows how many commercial interruptions- it's extremely difficult to expand on anything really within a 10 minutes segment that will get interrupted as soon as they start elaborating- given the facts of American TV they did a GREAT job, could have been a lot different. I remember VH1's "Crime Scene" which was a sad joke...

Thank you to Aphrodite Jones risking her name once again- and showing once more that there really is no pleasing anyone, MJ bashing Journalists call it "love letter" (by the way what do they call Thomas Mesereau?? Nothing because he's such an enigma...) and some MJ fans are not happy either...she wrote a book that is worthwhile supporting, and court documents are public if anybody wants EVERY detail.

This was great for the general public who still thinks that MJ "bought" his way out off a trial in 1993.

Props to Jones for honestly describing the media witch hunt and hat off to Mr. Mesereau for several thinks:
- mentioning "celebrity friends" proclaiming their great love for MJ when in 2005 nobody wanted to be involved. That one was like the zinger that should make some of those who partake in the hypocrisy think...not mentioning names is even better.
- pointing out Bashir's role- MJ fans were ready to tar and feather him years ago- but so far NO media outlet dared to say it out loud
- taking the blame for "Pajama Day" which is one of the strangely hyped occurrence, thank you being a human being.

I personally had hoped to hear Ms Yu's point of view as well. :D

But overall, thank you so much, it's people like Jones, Mesereau, Yu who had the guts to back him up when noone else did- now it's considered the happening thing, for years that wasn't the case. I'm glad this documentary exists.:agree::agree::clapping:

So, please someone clarify about the famous "pajama" court day...what really happened? I forget what I have read in the past. Was it as T-Mez explained last night, that MJ hurt his back walking at Neverland that morning or was it the other one I've heard - that MJ fell in the shower. Or am I confusing seperate incidents? And why would T-Mez give the wrong account? I'm just a little confused (which is normal, heh).

On an interview on Jesse Jackson's radio show, Michael said that he hurt himself when he slipped getting out of the shower. I don't know what the "walking at Neverland" story is about.

Yes, that's where I heard Michael say that - the Jesse Jackson radio show interview. But I couldn't remember if that happened on "pajama day" or another court day. Puzzling. I guess I will have to listen to it again sometime.

First of all, thank you to the fans here who uploaded this on youtube. I would have never been able to have seen it otherwise.

Second, this is a positive documentary. Granted, there's nothing really new to us because we followed Michael's life for many years, but for the people who were casual fans, believed the media, this documentary served it's purpose. Aphrodite did the best she could in one hour and I think she did a wonderful job. Michael was painted in good light which is what's the most important thing here. Michael was a good person and that came across on the show and to me that is what is important.

Thank you Aphrodite.

the thing that sticks out to me most, in the Aphrodite Jones doc, is what TMez said, concerning the lwmj 'doc'. it provoked people to say to themselves 'why work, when we can sue Michael Jackson?'.

Very well said!

BTW, where are Chandler Jr and the Arvizo kid today? I don't even know if Arvizo is alive, but if he is, does he realize that surviving cancer is something he owes solely to MJ? And how do you live your life knowing that you killed the man who saved you ...

Would the celebs (whoever they are) that TMez mentioned - if not confess that they refused cooperation, at least stop crying now in front of cameras, seeking attention.

I knew AJ's film would upset me, and I had decided not to watch it, but I did today ... I'm glad though.

This was a positive show, I like that she finally got it that Mike was innocent. But I think she could of done a better job discrediting the 1st and 2nd allegations. Like the description of the gentials in 93. I was of the understanding that it was a wrong description. And she should of played the tape with chandler plotting against MJ. And include the part in the 20 million settlement where MJ agreed to no molesting and said Jordie could still testify in a criminal case if he wanted to.

She shoulda emphasize more how sneddon spent millions to go after Michael. And how he raided his house in 05 with over 77 police officers.

This is really great, finally we have something positive about Michael. I have shared this with all my friends on Facebook and you all should do the same, we have to spread this in everyway possible.

Thank you for sharing the links with us.

Before I watch this can someone just clear up for me if the program features "the last photo" from the ambulance, or footage from the memorial, funeral or fake autopsy? Cos I just can't look at any of that still.

I know how you feel, I feel the same, they don't show the last photo but they do show a photo from his funeral and a brief video of the day he passed by the helicopters.

I don't recall the ambulance photo- but there is mainly one picture of the casket at the funeral. You do hear the 911 phone call.

I found this very disturbing personally...Great docu and i wish they were all one in this realistic ACTUAL truthfull light ...But when we hear bogus stories or look at evidence in cases or try to show how michael was in the right, we would look at evidence the person says and disprov it with evidence someone else said...Like murray saying he went to get prince to see his dad on the day and others saying prince was never there...

It is the same for this but I do not see any reason why either would lie unless there was something to hide.I respect t mez in every way possible and seeems like a person who would carefully consider his words before speaking and always speak the truth..So he said mj hurt his back on a walk and mj himself said it was coming out of the shower..Seems strange t mez would forget the reason to something so major in the trial for many peopleand seems weird mj wouuld make it up on a radio show when he has no real reason to...Unless there was a reason and i think either he was so adament he was not going to court...could not face it, locked himself in his room...Who knows..But he was not going into that court for whatever reason..Interntionally..Not because of an accident..Or bcause he was on medication and out of it..He looked and behaved worringly on that day and I just found it strange there were two conflicting stories to something that has no reason to of been forgotten..Unless one or both lid to cover up the truth
..I prsonalyy think it was some form of drugs or medication he was on that day because that does not add up at alll...

Aside from that this docu was the truth people the whole world need to imprint on their minds

Hmm. Okay, thanks.

Re: TV Alert: True Crime with Aphrodite Jones - today

Yeah just the fact that such things were discussed is enough to infuriate me. The world really is full of greed and people really have no hearts if they were ALL willing to sacrifice the life of an innocent man, the only parent his children had, just for the money years of prison coverage would bring. They say think of the children but the truth is that they don't give a fig about the children--or about anyone else for that matter!

There is nothing worse than the deceitfulness of the American media. That's true organized crime and cruelty, what Aphrodite Jones witnessed! They really have no regard for human life.

All I can say is: I'm so glad things didn't go that route. I'm not a naive person who believes in justice when almost all evidence points to the contrary. Especially in these high-profile cases where there's money to be made and even more so when they succeeded in making a business out of humilliating Michael. At least in this case, justice was partly served.

Yet some people are so disgusting and fickle. They're quick to condemn history's criminals for exploiting and murdering the innocent yet they completely fail to identify that same depravity within themselves, because that is what all those people managed to do: they collectively killed a kind and innocent man!

For over twenty years, they called Michael weird, strange, sick, etc. Well they may as well have been talking about themselves because all of those biased reporters fit the above description more than Michael ever could. It just wasn't in him and they all knew it. They're all the same, though. They pretend to admire the selfless and the kind, yet they secretly hate them. It all makes me sick to my stomach. The fact that these people are all living and breathing oxygen they don't deserve when Michael is dead makes me want to scream in rage!

I'm sorry for the rant but this is how I feel.

Wow - thank you sooo much for this post. You really nailed it. I honestly hate the American media. I do so much I no longer have a T.V. I'm done with them.

Thank you to A. Jones for at least being honest enough to realize her mistake and doing something about it. I love her. Let's hope that more from the media join her, although I won't hold my breath.

The last thing I heard of Gavin is that he was in the military. The last news I heard of Star Arvizo was just a 3 weeks after MJ had passed. Someone had reached out to Star on his facebook (yes, it was his real one) and Star responded back with some HORRIBLE stuff about MJ. Those two kids were raised to lie and scam.. I dont have much hope in those two that they will come forward.

Jordie Chandler.. My guess is that he is still in New Jersey/New York.

No ambulance pics so don't worry. There is one of the casket and the 911 call but nothing about the autopsy.

Question:
They said that this was going to be a 10 part series premiere..
What does that mean?
10 episodes about Michael?

It was really heartbreaking when T-Mez was talking about Michael's phone calls and how he was crying about his children. When I think how much pain he had to take....:no::no:
