Threatening to kill someone...isn't that against the law? I pray 90% of people do not give death threats. Seriously.

Making derogatory comments towards Mexican immigrants...well, I hope 90% percent of people do not do such things.

Treating your mate like a piece of property and screaming and raving at her for not having sex with you...I really, really hope 90% of men do not behave this way.

On and on...

Sure, we all get angry and have our meltdowns but this, this is just extreme and well beyond the normal. It is completely wrong. I don't know if Mel is bi-polar as is being reported but if he is he better get on the meds and get himself together...at least for the sake of his child/children.

On my national TV we had 5 Mel Gibson"s movies in the last week.
Isn"t that just great ?! We listen to his crazynes on the news and then we watch the movie.
How sweet. I hate the media, more and more every second.

Obviously Gibson has a personal problem that he still hasn't dealt with. despite being almost 6 decades old. You can call the problem ignorance, racism, anger management issues or whatever, the bottom line still remains the same. It's a shame that a man his age can't behave.

I've said it only jokingly. NEVER in an angry rage and NEVER to a friend or family member. I would never dream of it. Ok, I may have said something to that effect to my cable company when my service goes out though, heh.

Threats given in the manner of those of Mel's should be taken very seriously. He may not intentionally want to kill her but listening to those phone tapes it's entirely possible he could accidentally kill her (or even his baby) if his rage is out of control.
 
Can't believe they took his guns. What if he has to defend himself and his family from all the crazies that have threatened his life?

It's not about Mel at this point, it's about domestic violence in general. When a man hits his wife there's always a crowd of men shouting that it was her fault. That she brought it onto herself.

I hear more sympathy for Mel's movie career or Mel's reputation or Mel's gun collection.

Amen. Woman never do anything wrong. They are so perfect. Why do the men always hit to poor, sad, defenceless woman who do absolutely nothing. Those poor, innocent, Mother Theresas....

You're right. We don't know the full story, and maybe Oksana isn't 100% innocent in this situation, BUT it doesn't really matter if she egged him on, made him angry on purpose, etc.. that still doesn't give him the right to hit her. Especially when their daughter was in her arms.

Frankly it kind of annoys me that Oksana felt the need to go to Radaronline to make this public instead of just letting the police handle it. I'm so sick and tired of hearing from the media, "Mel this" and "Oksana that." I can't wait for this to be over with, but Mel obviously has some serious anger issues that he needs to deal with.

Even if the women are not so innocent and did wrong, does it give the men right to hit them? No one says that the women are always innocent but still there is no excuse for hitting them.

Does he admit to hitting her or is the tape edited to seem that he admits it? Obviously she didn't have much proof because Mel is still sharing custody.
 
WOW! I Liked him on All Lethal Weapons...and Brave Heart...and ofcource the Patriot...but this is just messed up. What happened to him?


Personally, No matter how Mad he gets, he's mad on the tape, I dont think to go as far as he did is right. Who knows, he may have said Lots of things to her that we haven't heard. But As a woman, to Hear that is on of the most DEGRADING thing that a Man could ever do. :mello::smilerolleyes:

Well, I don't know if the tapes were edited or not, but in one of the tapes Oksana mentions a time that he hit her, and he says something like, "You f****** deserved it."
