^ as far I know, the only time anyone seems to have mentioned meeting Murray (Phillips, Ortega etc) was at that meeting when they claimed to have confronted him about concerns over MJ's weight.

I wonder why not a single member of the crew mentioned Murray's presence during rehearsals in their numerous interviews.

I don't recall anyone mentioning Murray attending the rehearsals.

As well as Dileo said in his interview he gave in July 2009 that he only had one meeting with Murray, making sure MJ was getting all the right vitamins and what kind of nutrient drinks he should take after the show.

Murray's presence at the rehearsals bugs me the most for some reason. If it's true why no one mentioned it? Surely, it was important - Michael's doctor present at his rehearsals. It should have raised some questions after Michael's passing. But since no one mentioned it, were they told to keep it to themselves? It yes, that's conpiracy against Michael.

Or is it common practice for a doctor to be present at a performer's rehearsals?

At the beginning Karen Faye had no problems to express her feelings about AEG, but I don't recall her ever mentioning that Murray would have been there at the rehearsals too :unsure:

So nobody has every mentioned Murray being at rehearsals before. I wonder if there is any proof of this in the 100+ footage of footage AEG sold to Sony.

How else is AEG going to be held responsible? Money is what impacts businesses like AEG and in my opinion they should be out of business for how they handled this situation if these allegations are true and I believe they are. They should also be held criminally responsible but the DA didn't charge anyone with conspiracy and the police I do not believe did a thorough investigation.

I believe she can and I've always believed AEG was just as responsible as Murray. I didn't need this lawsuit to believe it. Why you can't see the connection is unclear to me. Aren't you the one always screaming that everything is Sony's fault?

Where does it say in the lawsuit that he was sick? It says he was negatively impacted by the treatment that AEG demanded for him. The autopsy shows that the treatment was the cause of death. The only thing she says about Klein was that MJ was seeing him for an undisclosed reason. I think people are jumping to conclusions and saying he was sick or addict.

I don't know, something is very fishy, in my opinion!

I keep thinking about the SIGNED CONTRACT, or the lackthereof. I mean, if Murray was supposed to be such a vital part of the AEG team, then why didn't AEG sign Murray's contract? How come AEG never paid Murray a dime?

I have always thought that AEG didn't sign Murray's contract, because they didn't want Murray to be Michael's doctor. First of all Murray was way too expensive, and the AEG folks knew that Michael could hire a cheaper doctor once he got to London.

Just like the All Good Entertainment lawsuit and R. Bain's lawsuit, it's all gonna come down to the contract or the lack of same, in my opinion.

And like, I believe Ivy said previously, where are the exhibits? It's always strange when folks file a lawsuit but don't include any exhibits.

Also, WHO exactly filed this lawsuit on Ms. Katherine's behalf?

When the Chandlers tried to go with a civil suit as opposed to a criminal suit, every one validated this as proof they only wanted money. I am not opposed to MJ's family finding the truth and holding all responsible who had a hand in MJ's death, BUT why do this now? What is to be lost by waiting until the criminal trial is over? AEG is not going anywhere.

It almost makes me feel as if they think something is wrong with the pending criminal trial and they are unsure of what the results will be. This frightens me. I could see no other reason for them to jump the gun.

I'm very worried.

By the time all is said and done, MJ is going to be painted as a stomach crawling got to have a propofol fix addict.

If Katherine can blame AEG for being complicit and negligent, of course MJ is going to be blamed as well. He was 50, not an infant. They're going to rake him over the coals.

And therein lies ONE of the problems with this lawsuit.

If AEG was demanding that Murray prescribe Michael with a "certain" treatment, then why didn't AEG sign the contract with Murray and why didn't AEG pay Murray?

I don't know what AEG may or may not have as far as evidence goes, but I'm certain their first course of action will be to say: "Conrad Murray was NEVER employed by AEG. Conrad Murray never had a contract with AEG. AEG never paid any money to Conrad Murray."

At the same time, I'm POSITIVE that Murray's defense is enjoying what's in this latest lawsuit, because it lays some of the blame on AEG and the defense only needs to sway one juror that there is "reasonable doubt."

Do we know for sure that there was no signed contract between AEG and Murray? I remember there was some unsigned contract through which Murray tried to get his salary from AEG? What if there's another contract (signed some time earlier) that wasn't made public? Is it possible?

To my knowledge, there is no signed contract between Murray and AEG. If I recall correctly, AEG never signed the contract and neither did Michael.

Also, if there was a signed contract, that means that AEG would have had to pay Murray his back salary and to date, I don't believe there has ever been a report that Murray was paid any money by AEG. The only signature is Murray's.

I seriously believe that Randy Phillips was trying to talk Michael out of hiring Murray, because Murray was asking for way too much money, and that's why neither AEG nor Michael ever signed the Murray contract.

Also, when Joe Jackson first filed that lawsuit with the medical board making the claim that AEG never gave Murray the equipment that he requested, there was an article on CNN wherein Randy Phillips states that Murray was never an employee of AEG's.

I'm sure that article is around here somewhere.

From Dileo's interview:

Michael brought him [Murray] up to me when he mentioned that part of his contract required AEG to hire him a doctor to be with him in London, and he specified he wanted Dr. Murray, claiming he was his family doctor. The original price he asked for was outrageous. I told Michael I could buy him a whole hospital for that kind of money.

AEG did not hire the doctor. That was Michael’s doctor for months. AEG just advanced him the payment, which was part of the budget.

And if AEG had hired him and all of this stuff took place don't you think Conrad Murray would have told the cops about this? And I guess we have all forgotten how Murray was going on and on about never being paid. For Mrs Jackson sake she better have all of her i's dotted and her t's crossed because if and when this blows up in her face AEG just might sue her for defamation not Joe not Randy and not the estate her

Chernoff also said the promoter of Jackson's 50-show London concerts, AEG Live, owes the cardiologist $300,000.
"His contract with the promoters states he would receive an amount of money each month to be his (Jackson's) personal physician and they have failed to honor that contract," Chernoff said. "They are two months behind."

"Michael never signed the contract," Phillips said.

I remember that as well.

I also recall Phillips stating that they (AEG) would not be signing Murray's contract until Michael signed Murray's contract.

Medical malpractice actions: Three years from the date of injury or one year from the date of discovery of the injury, whichever occurs first.
Breach of an oral contract: Two years.
Breach of a written contract: Four years.
Suits for libel or slander: One year.
Personal injury claims based on negligence: Two years

However I must add Katherine's lawsuit against AEG isn't a wrongful death lawsuit., it's a breach of contract.

so Joe had file his lawsuit against Murray in a year after discovery (after cause of death had been determined as propofol and injection by other). On the other hand Katherine seems to have 4 years to file a lawsuit.

Travis Payne, Kenny Ortega, Michael Bearden were all friends of Michael who he hired to come work for him on these shows. Your telling me Michael did not tell any of them what was going on? And if Katherine is going use the likes of Karen Faye has wittiness someone needs to remind her how Miss Faye changed her tune after June 25. By her own words Michael was happy and never happier that is how she chooses to remember him well Mama why the change in tune?

Thanks for posting that blurb, which will be ANOTHER point of contention.

Ms. Katherine's lawsuit states that it was AEG who brought Murray into Michael's life, then you have a bunch of other folks who have said that Michael already knew Murray and that Murray had treated Michael's children a few years before he signed on with AEG.

So which story is true?

I can already see AEG (Phillips) saying that they did not know Murray, until introduced by Michael.

And never mind the fact that there are medical records that go back to 06 between Michael and Murray and never mind the fact that Murray gave Michael pills for his sleeping problem on 12/22/08 way before Michael singed his deal with AEG so oops
