Regarding the slug and lettuce question....hmm well the o2 is special obviously, but if it's easier for you guys to be nearer where you're staying then I'm cool with that too :) so I won't vote yet, I'll let you decide what you want to do. Either way is ok for us getting back-wise as Motseys driving so no last minute train dashes or anything.

Ok guys, so I have had an Idea pitched to me that we go to the O2 to eat at the Slug there (because it is a special place for us) Then move to the other slug, nearer the center of London (closer to accomidation) for drinks after that.

What do you guys think of that idea??

IMO, its a pretty wicked plan! But you guys decide, i'm just here to put in all into action ;)

I like the idea. Maybe staying at the o2 to about 9/9.30 or something then going to the Slug at Liverpool Street. Me likey!
 
Damn, all those closures are annoying lol. Think I can still get there without problems... Brighton to London Victoria (directly), then London Victoria tube to St. James Park on the District line (if I'm reading it correctly, that part of the District line isn't affected). I'll figure out getting back on the day lol. Here's hoping!!

Think with all the engineering work on the Jubilee Line especially we might have to push the o2 aside this time and go straight to St Mary's Axe. Might be easier.

Um....something I forgot to ask.....people aren't still dressing up as zombies like the original plan are they? Cos I don't think I could handle going off to the boyfriends work (which involves using public transport) dressed like the walking dead haha

The gallery is free of charge, not far from the park and is surrounded by tube stations.

It was bloody fantastic! :D :punk: Although I was kinda let down by the Scream live section of Madam Tussauds :p

Great times alround and couldn't thank all y'all enough for it :D
 
Just wanted to say it was really great to see you all. Sorry it was kind of brief for me and Motsey and we didn't make madame tussauds but glad you guys enjoyed it (judging by the pics you showed us) :D

I know we've met before but it's always been very quick (apart from Stephen who's been round to ours a few times) so it was really good to actually spend some time sitting and talking (and walking around getting lost lol) with all of you this time, and I really mean it when I say what a nice group of people you are :)

Really looking forward to seeing you all again at Michaelmas in (less than) 4 weeks!

Oh by the way.......you remember that group of drunken rowdy skeletons in the pub right? When we were walking through the station to get our tube back to the car, they had hijacked some poor old busker playing his guitar and singing wonderwall, and were loudly singing and dancing all around him while he played looking terrified lol. Motsey filmed it and might upload it at some point. Good times :D
