why?? just because my expectations arent too high? I think people who were expecting a proper "Michael Jackson" album were expecting too much, Michael isnt atall involved in the release of this album so its not going to be a "Michael Jackson" albums is it? Im just looking at it with the attitude that it is what it is and Im happy to hear new songs from Michael because its obviously not going to be a masterpiece that It would have been if Michael was still with us.

No it's not, at least Akon confirmed more MJ vocals on his twitter, so that's nice.
But the rest is just very disappointing. Where's Do you know where your childeren are?!
I won't buy this album because it has, special editions written al over it! Only 10 tracks is very sneaky indeed. Within 6 months there will be an edition with 2 extra tracks or something.
Mark my words!
And 50 Cent on the album pfff can't agree with that. Would this be so if Mike was still alive?! I doubt it. It's all for the sake of the biggest evil in this world: MONEY!

Michael Jackson is lead vocal on "Breaking News". Fact!
IMO "Breaking News" is great song and Michael Jackson's voice in it is beautiful.

well if thats the case no albums should be released atall, because there not Michaels vision. Im just not naive enough to expect the releases to live up to his previous albums, Im just going to take it for what it is.

Unfortunately it is, that's the problem. If those fake songs were to be released under the name "Michael Jickson" and still containing some real MJ vocals, I would perhaps buy

well I know people are going to argue about this until the end of time but I dont believe the songs are fake, well Breaking News i havnt heard the others but Michael is definately on that song therefore to me its not fake. If there are other singers on it then its not 100% Michael and sure its not ideal but to me its better than nothing and i don't think fake is the right word to use

If it is not a duet and somebody else is singing the lead like with BN, then it is fake. I'm happy you are happy though and I wish I could think like you do, but I can't sadly.

Its all very odd to me.
1st single is out on Monday and theres been no lead up or build up to it.
I'm disappointed with the tracklist, it confirms either one of 2 things to me, either there are less good unreleased tracks out there than first thought, or Sony is deliberately holding songs back to draw it out in other albums.
I honestly probably would have been happier with a CD of unreleased tracks we've already heard. I mean, Xscape for one should have been put on this.

Ok, well still no reason for me to buy the album. I will DOWNLOAD it and make my own compilation. No monster and no BN for me, waaaaaaay below mike's level and sounding FAKE!
Much to soon and Another Day brings a smile on my face though
But only 10 tracks, while mike made soooo many outtakes from his different solo albums. :-(

Ok this is what I think, I don't like Breaking News because I think that Michael would not be happy with it and because James Porte vocals are on the track. We've tried to remove Cascio tracks but we've failed. Now is the time that we all unite and support this album, not because Teddy Riley, not because John McClain, not because Sony, but because of Michael Jackson and his legacy. His legacy must live and we are his soldiers of L.O.V.E. We have to make Hold My Hand number one all around the world and the album too. I invite all Michael Jackson fans to support this release no mather what we think about those 3 tracks. I realized that the tracklist is decided and there is nothing we can do to change it. I didn't change my mind about these songs but I changed my mind about this whole project and I am going to support it and I think we all should. I am going now to pre-order the album again and I invite you all to do the same. Lets bring Michael back on the top, lets make him Number One again!
No. It should be on there. It would be weird if it wasn't. And I love it too.
If you're referring to the background vocals being a combination of MJ and James Porte then I agree -- it doesn't matter. A lot of MJ's songs have other people sharing background vocals with him, and James Porte is even properly credited for his. If you're referring to something else than the background vocals then you're in the wrong thread. That stuff doesn't need to be mentioned here.
I agree. I'm impressed with Teddy Riley's production on 'Breaking News' and I am very much looking forward to the rest of the album. I fully believe this was an immensely emotional project for him and I think that will shine through.

Bad is 11 tracks, Thriller is 9 tracks, OTW is 10 tracks. This goes in line with his older albums perfectly well IMO. 10 tracks is one of the smarter decisions they made with this album.

I do NOT support fraud , OMG , I'm shocked and Devastated , MJ is rolling in his grave because of this mess....

Why not? He's worked with a lot of different hip hop artists in the past and, in recent years, with a lot of "younger" artists like will.i.am, Akon, Kanye West, Fergie... Why not 50 Cent? Heck, he even worked with Shaquille O'Neal on HIStory.

How anyone can even be remotely crazy about this is beyond me. 10 tracks?!!!! Are you kidding me? There are COUNTLESS unreleased songs and they only put 10 tracks, we fans are not crazy $ony. We know damn well that you'll be milking this shit like a cow, and i ain't falling for it. No purchase from me.

Im gonna make my own "M.I.C.H.A.EL" album leaving out the CASCIO songs. Will replace B.N with Xscape & hoping that "Do you knw wer ur children are" will be leaked some how so that I cud use that to replace Monster.
