I have to be honest that I don't think anyone has actually presented any actual proof either way yet.

And that's the problem. We have people flying off the handle without substantial evidence either way.

I think it's telling that there is NO legal action being taken whatsoever.

Because Michael's works are intouchable
They should not play with us the fans to be honest.

Michael worked with these guys on these songs so for you to say that they need to go to hell over this is stupid. And they are not playing with us.

I'll just say...Sony really does justice to their slogan 'Make Believe'. LOL.

Well, my conviction is stronger than ever; I've heard doctored fan versions, Teddy's conflicting stories, the recent goings on with Malachi's producer and Will.i.am...all this piled on with the fact that no matter how many times I hear these songs sped up, slowed down, pitched up, pitched down, through headphones, through speakers...it just ISN'T happening.

Cast iron case as far as I'm concerned, and certain people should be seriously ashamed.

I'm mixed about Casio tracks.
When I first saw people arguing with the authenticity of the voice on BN, I was like 'Oh WTF Micheal is old and people should get used to the change in his voice.'
But as I'm listening to the album over and over again, I feel like 'Michael sounds really great on ICMIAD, but who was that back in BN?'
I dare not say it's not him on Casio tracks. Maybe Michael was in a really bad condition when he recorded these tracks, still he does sound a little different. When I listen to BOJ and MTS I can say 'That's the man, that's Michael'; but when I listen to KYHU and BN I'm less confident. And yes the vibrato thing is really messing up my mind.
It's hard to explain how I feel when I listen to Casio tracks. Micheal has a smooth voice except for the moments he shouts. In Casio tracks I also can hear his smooth voice, but sometimes it sounds too smooth and lacks power when he shouts.
Maybe he wasn't in his best condition; maybe he wasn't giving his best efforts when recording demos; maybe my ears are deafened by my doubts.
I sincerely hope someone will really clear my doubts.

The theory that his voice had matured and thats why he sounds so different is ridiculous. The voice on the songs is clearly much younger sounding than the voice on say.....Hollywood Tonight.

Yep, or Best of joy. Which is apparently a very recent track.

My advice to Cascio and Malachi.

**Run away from the country, you will be prosecuted

its not michael on half the songs, but we know another day, behind the mask, much too soon are michael, and i love them...

This is just YOUR opinion, the rest non-believers express doubts ONLY about the 3 Cascio tracks from the album. Just for the record

They can go to hell as Martin Bashir ect dude

Let's believe Michael worked with him ?why they just give us DEMO of the song with bring Malachi or Portes what ever it is ,l do really want to hear something like "In the back" and "Beautiful girl".

They said when Michael was at their home ,he was like humain being,he was not the star at their shit home that's great all that.

The question is if he was like humain being why he recorded the songs if he treats him like part of their family???????

lol, thanks for that "lesson". i know its my opinion, thats why i said it.

what were you trying to gain from that post?

This is pretty much how I feel too

Type more carefully next time and don't say "WE KNOW", instead use "I KNOW" to avoid confusion. And spare me the attitude please, if you want to fight try somebody else

There is no doubt whatsoever that ALL SONGS minus the Cascio tracks ARE MJ. I believe all tracks are MJ, but for certain all the remaining 7 are. You'd be foolish to think otherwise. How can anyone doubt "Best Of Joy". I don't like being snotty, but you would really have to not know Michael's voice at all to even for a second believe that BOJ is a fake.

This is a very sad post. You don't know a damn thing and you're wishing them to go to Hell? Dude, what is wrong with you? This is the exact kind of mentality MJ had to deal with. There is nothing worse than hypocritical MJ fans who expect everyone to use rose colored glasses when it applies to MJ and yet they are exempt from their own rules when it applies to other people.

I remember when we discussed about the new album a while ago. We talked about how it'd be a nightmare if the producers autotune Michael's perfect, angelic, pristine vocals.

The much anticipated album is finally released. And, our nightmare comes true. Some of the tracks are processed to death. Isn't it worse than autotuning?

Another interesting observation. When we were waiting for "news" on the new album, we went off-topic all the time. As there was not much news, we gotta talk about side subjects to keep the thread going. I remember we talked about the song, This Is It. Some fans hate that song with passion. They complained how the song is just a demo, how the Jacksons butchered the song with their bad background vocals, how we were misled by Sony into believing the song was a new song. And, of course, no one liked the Anka controversy.

Now, the much anticipated new album is finally released. Sony/the Estate manage to get into a worse controversy. Michael's vocals on some songs are manipulated to an unrecognizable level. Most songs are incomplete and are pieced together from rough bad qualtiy demos.

No, my opinion hasn't changed. I prefer not having the Cascio tracks on the album. I understand Sony/the Estate are working on what they have given the sad circumstances. But, that doesn't mean I agree with their approach.

Mehdi expresses his anger and as far as I know we are not magicians, so that, whenever we send somebody to hell, it happens.

On the other hand you went foul here Travis, when out of nowhere you come out and call him hypocritical

If people truly believe something in their hearts, they can get a little ahead of themselves. Whether he was right or wrong, Michael was no different either: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaBBy06xAlc

It would be better if people had control over the unpleasant remarks they were making. But seeing as it's happening to most everyone in this forum, it could be easier said than done, because people are so passionate about what they believe in.

You're views are certainly warped, aren't they? Last time I checked I'm not the one jumping the shark and telling people to go to Hell. That is going foul, I just called them out on it. Big difference. It is what it is.

P.S. The clip of MJ telling Gloria to "go to Hell" is completely irrelevant to our current situation. Gloria was trying to take away MJ's children. Tell me how it applies?

IMHO the key here is the articulation of certain consonants. Michael has a special feature while saying the words like "You", "need you", "truth", the letter "t" at the end of a word... He softens these consonants in his own typical way. It is something the whole Jackson family has (I mean Michael's brothers and sisters). I didn't notice anything like that in these songs....

Am I the only one who thinks Keep Your Head Up is the least convincing one?

Here's the way I look at it. This is not for argumentative purposes, just to tell my side of the story.

Michael Jackson was living at the Cascio's house for 4 months. He obviously played a huge role in the writing of these songs (MJ's writing style is so easy to tell). I don't think anyone debates that Michael mostly wrote these songs. So if Cascio and him wrote these songs together...then it is logical to assume that some/all of the songs were recorded to some degree. It's non-logical to think "MJ spent 4 months in a house with a music producer and a recording studio around a time when he was known to be making new music, and did not sing one note into the microphone. It's simply ridiculous to think that they hired Jason Malachi or some other impersonator to come and sing 12 songs. That goes against all logic.

On the other hand... it makes much more sense to think that Michael recorded these songs to a limited degree and failed to finish them. Different parts of the songs were not complete and needed major tweaking. Teddy Riley has said he had to change the vibrato of MJ's voice to match up with some of the new compositions. The studio was in a basement with conditions that were not normal for regular studios that we are used to hearing MJ record in. And finally, Cascio is not a regular producer and would likely be considered B class opposed to the A style producers MJ has always worked with.

Logic would tell anyone that MJ is singing in these songs. Until substantial evidence is presented to the contrary, it will remain my belief that Keep Your Head Up, Monster, and Breaking News are Michael Jackson singing...Just in very different circumstances then we are used to. If I'm proved wrong in the future then so be it. But until then, this is my opinion.
