everything I read from 2000 said "unnamed drugs" and what Ratner was doing "illegal".

Propofol & Ratner was - as far as I know - is mentioned in 2009.

this article can probably not be taken verbatim, it's tabloid, but since it was published long before mj's death the claim that ratner gave mj propofol during a tour is probably true. seems too much of a coincidence otherwise.

About the meetings I don't think KJ got the dates wrong.
On 18th June, Michael didn't appear on rehearsals, there was a meeting (the "riot act") and later, after the meeting, Michael went to the rehearsals at 9:30pm, Murray also went.
This is mentioned in both Katherine and Joe's lawsuits.
On that meeting, Kenny Ortega was not present (or at least he's not mentioned).

It is also mentioned a prior complaint from AEG to MJ in section 25: "In early May 2009... AEG instructed MJ to stop seeing and taking medications from his current doctor and to instead start seeing a doctor that AEG would provide". (Joe says on May 3 and instead of "current doctor", simply says "Klein").

Nothing to do with the meeting Ortega was previously referring to in the direct-questions (on 20th June).

Sorry, if with so many dates, you get lost. My initial doubt was whether the meeting Chernoff was referring to could have been the one mentioned in section 25 of the AEG lawsuit. (It wouldn't be the only lapsus or mistake he made BTW).

thank you bouee. yes it seems like unnamed sources - tabloids.

Like I said in 2000 trial prosecution argues that Ratner gave MJ unnamed drugs and what he did was illegal and wanted to show that as a history of Ratner. Majority of the questions wasn't allowed and Ratner never confirmed anything. Plus I don't think propofol (giving propofol) falls under "illegal".

Yes, yes, I knew it and thanks to Sophie too. I read a very good explanation from hers regarding Ruffalo's testimony (the error in exhibit 68), which makes me appreciate very much her observations.

I've read that Karen F. said in her twitter that though it was true that at the beginning everything was ok, the last week everything went terrible.

And if we take into account testimony in the preliminary and Katherine's lawsuit, plus some other info in Affidavit we have consecutive dates where Michael was not feeling well or there were meetings:

-18J (Riot Act meeting, Michael goes to rehearsals afterwards at 9:30 pm, Murray stayed at the Staples as well for a time).

-19J Michael didn't feel ok, and went home after KO asked him so.

-20J Meeting where KO is told off by Murray for allowing MJ to quit rehearsals.

-21J Cherilyn Lee receives a call from MJ's bodyguards telling her Michael was not feeling well. (She was in Florida and said the call was in the evening).

-22J No hearsals, long weekend for Father's Day.

- 23 and 24J: According to KO, Michael was perfect, according to Katherine's lawsuit (and Joe's too), Michael was not ok.

I personally don't know what to make of all this, besides the saddest of feelings at thinking how Michael might have been feeling the days before and if there were people behind who took the wrong decisions... (it's worrying and frightening Cherilyn Lee statement to the police).

I personally don't know what to make of all this, besides the saddest of feelings at thinking how Michael might have been feeling the days before and if there were people behind who took the wrong decisions... (it's worrying and frightening Cherilyn Lee statement to the police).

People not affiliated with AEG or TII in any regard and were actually there also said for those last rehearsals Michael was great. Katherine and Joe were not there. Unfortunately, Murray made his regular visit to MJ's home later. I do believe because the last couple of days that everything was going so well that Murray's arrogance took another leap and he just was not careful AT ALL, thought he had it all under control, and was incredibly inattentive and negligent.

Attorneys for Michael Jackson's mother say she will not proceed with some of the original allegations in her complaint against the promoter of the London concert series the King of Pop was about to begin when he died, including fraud.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Yvette M. Palazuelos ruled Feb. 2 that lawyers for Katherine Jackson and her grandchildren will have to provide more concrete evidence of fraud, negligent infliction of emotional distress and civil conspiracy, which the lawsuit alleges. She gave them 20 days to amend the complaint.

However, the attorneys filed papers Tuesday stating they ``do not intent to amend the complaint.' That means the case is scheduled to go to trial for now on the remaining allegations of breach of contract, negligent hiring and employer responsibility.

The suit was filed on Sept. 15 by Katherine Jackson on behalf of herself and her son's three children, Michael Jr., Paris-Michael Katherine and Prince Michael, also known as Blanket.

The suit alleges AEG Live is responsible for the medical decisions made by Dr. Conrad Murray, the singer's personal physician at the time, who has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in Jackson's death.

The suit originally alleged Michael Jr. suffered negligent infliction of emotional distress when he ``witnessed his father suffering and accordingly has suffered great trauma and severe emotional distress.'

But according to AEG, the Jackson family lawyers themselves do not allege the boy was present when Murray gave propofol to the singer, nor do they claim the boy was aware
the physician was causing any harm to his father.

Palazuelos also said she had doubts about the civil conspiracy claim within the suit because there were no details stating AEG Live and Murray had an agreement to do something unlawful. Katherine Jackson also is dropping that allegation.

The 50-year-old singer died June 25, 2009, of acute propofol intoxication.

The New York Post is well-known as a tabloid. Ratner NEVER confirmed anything in testimony. It's obvious that the defense will try to tarnish Michael's image by portraying him as a known drug-abuser, whether that drug is propofol, or something else. I do hope (but do not expect), that discussions of "Ratner" don't happen anymore here without concrete information, or are at least kept to a minimum unless/until he testifies or is interviewed on record. "Sources say" are about as useful as a random "investment opportunity" from a West African nation, and potentially as accurate as the "Michael engaged in voodoo rituals at Neverland" (assertions from unnamed "sources")

AEG called their bluff, in my opinion. Katherine's team said they HAD the necessary information, now all of a sudden they don't.

Like somebody said previously, the Jackson family is looking for a QUICK settlement, they ain't trying to go to trial and this cutting of the claims is definitely pointing in that direction.

One interesting allegation being removed is Prince Jackson was present and suffered
trauma and emotional stress. That has been shown false by Both Katherines Attorney
and AEG. So how that was part of the original suite is beyond me.

Seemsto me like many of these unfounded claims were originally brought forward by Joe Jackson's
attorney Brian Oxman in their Failed suite and Katherines attorneys eroneously trusted this info.

They are not interested in justice, they were never interested in justice, the day after Michael died phone calls were made staff and ex employees asking where Michael was hiding, the $$ and jewlery, two days after he died they were fully present in court demanding to be put in charge of his financial empire. 2 weeks after his death, they were again back in court demanding money as they had none, they couldn't feed Michael's children for a whole month before they were demanding money as he was their sole income. It's one thing to be disgraceful and a whole other to be shameless. Their actions have spoken loud and clear they are interested when money is being made, over the past 20 months we have seen repeated shameless actions done by shameless people.

He was quick to get on Twitter when this lawsuit was initially filed. He was also quick to get on his Twitter when Ortega was dismissed from the lawsuit.

Pretty much guessed they didn't have it when they didn't supplement their original complaint with the proper paperwork. That's almost ALWAYS a dead giveaway. The complaint was a hot mess from the get-go. And now we see the smoke gradually clearing. What's left when all the trimming of allegations and dropping of names is done should be interesting.

I remember fans defending this law firm/legal team becuz they were highly regarded and felt they wouldn't have initially brought this complaint UNLESS they knew they could defend it. Based on the complaint, I felt they might only be interested in a money-grab settlement as well, however, seeing them drop Kenny from the suit and trim these allegations, shows they are, at least ethical, if not solely realistic. When they see/hear something that doesn't pass the smell test they are WILLING to let it go. That's a good sign for THEM....IMO.

Reminds me of the GOLDMANS. Man, as soon as OJ popped his head up, whatever the reason, the Goldman's were on his butt like white on rice. They would hit those morning talks shows in a heartbeat, if anything was going on they didn't like. They were serious and you took them seriously.

The Jackson's on the other hand have slowly become a joke, in my opinion.

In the beginning, I figured they would be even more vigorous then the Goldman family, only because they had been in showbusiness and should know how the game is played.

They were ordered by the judge to drop the allegations becuase
