So true. You can't believe everything tabloids write either. Remember, trash sells, words can always be taken out of context.
As far as Michael leaving the JW & Rebbie being upset over it, I didn't see that in the interview itself at all. In reference to the 'sins' of stardom... Michael became famous beyond his control. Embracing a world who loves you isn't sinful, esp when you've helped to try and heal the world in so many various ways. Besides, she worked with Michael for years. He helped her write her debute album.
And Michael never 'turned' his back on God. Given, he may have often times felt that God had turned his back on him (Mike), yet Michael never left the JW b/c he turned his back on God. He left due to the fact that he was tired of having to go from door to door, constantly trying to recruite certain folks to his religion. He was tired of the rigerous life-style and restrictions they set upon oneself. How can you be a performer if you're not aloud to perform? Seriously, I don't kow how Prince does it...
Michael went back to his Christian roots, but along side of that, embraced and learned of every other religion. He lived to learn and loved to learn. Anything that gave him spiritua guidence was a saving grace to him.
Faith shouldn't set boundaries for you or restrictions. Perhaps that's why I've stopped believing in God in some ways. I think I lost faith after Michael passed. What a bright light he was in this world to all of us.
