“Hollywood Tonight” VIDEO premieres NOW

just watched it again and it grows fast on me....

when they all start dancing with the lead girl at the end (which i love btw ! ) feels a little like a promotion for 'the experience' game lol maybe its supposed to.......

i like it

lets enjoy it for what it is - keeping michaels voice heard

I actually like the video, they did their best, for a posthumous video its great. I think the Billie Jean mix sounds good, but did it need to be in for the whole song?
TBH the vocals on the album version are better, I don't know why fans complain about having it the way Michael left it, had it been chosen to go on an album if MJ hadn't passed, Teddy would have been given the track to edit at the end anyway.
Overall I think they did a good job, lets keep watching it guys, it would be great if MJ could reach Gaga's or Justin Bieber's numbers  :D

Listen to the original demo. Perhaps Michael DID use the BJ beat as a guide for how he wanted it to sound.

Damn, I really hate what they did to the song..it doesn't sound good now with that BJ beat. They should have left the album version cuz this one really sucks!
And about the video, I just don't like it but I knew I wouldn't, now that Michael is gone..it can never be the same again.

The video is good for me :) :) But why another remix ??? Original album version is MUCH better :( :(

Original album version = MORE POWER & More Funky Grooves !!!

It's alright, the parts with Michael on the billboards was cool, the rest...alright i guess. I guess they just don't understand that fans actually want something else, ah well..then again...why care what the fans think or what...right? Sigh...

I noticed that it doesn't sound autotuned at all now? And Taryll's voice is gone. And i wonder why they used the Billie Jean drumloop for it.

whats with the discription:
'Music video by Michael Jackson performing Hollywood Nights. (C) 2011 Optimum Productions'

I like how Sony may have listened to us about excluding the spoken verse, in my opinion it sounds more authentic.

I still like both versions of the song. They kept what I like about the original, and it's something different to listen to, and could probably increase sales if this version is the one they put to sale.

Plus Sofia does a great job. Video is good, don't know what more you can expect really.

Story is about someone trying to make it in Hollywood, it's an MJ song, it has to involve dance!

I think they better called this a remix , i like it as a remix but the original version has much more power & a better funky beat.... I don't understand why sony is doing this... :( Video is still good for me ..

Well I have to say, Teddy did an amazing job on cleaning up the "Westbound Greyhound" line on the album version. It's my favourite part, just a shame its not actually real by the sounds of this!

I hate to be debbie downer here but why must we complain? I love it to be honest, It's a different mix and it sounds good. Just think if we would have been blessed with a Cascio track for a single?

:)

Haha have anyone noticed? They have a wrong description of the title of the song......Music video by Michael Jackson performing Hollywood Nights. (C) 2011 Optimum Productions

WTH.......Sony????? Reallly hollywoood NIGHTS!!!! cmonnn

she is not dreaming of becoming a Michael Jackson impersonator! To me it's obvious, that it's a story of a young dancer, who also happens to be an MJ fan, so on her free time she participated in an MJ flashmob. I thought it was a nice touch.

100 points!!!!!!!!! :wild::clapping: That was the point of that scene!

Yeah, I put it on the other page, they need to sort that out as soon as !!

Blessed? That would be more of a curse!!!

I prefer the album version of the audio. I don't like that Billie Jean beat that they put in.

The new video for “Hollywood Tonight” is available NOW!!

The storyline of “Hollywood Tonight” charts the journey of a young woman arriving in Hollywood from small town America as she follows her dream to be a star; though her ambition is to be a dancer, her story represents the struggle for every artist or musician struggling to make it in the world.

Wayne Isham, who directed the video for Michael Jackson’s “You Are Not Alone,” returns to one of the very same locations where he filmed in 1995 with Michael – the Pantages Theater near the famed corner of Hollywood and Vine. In the new video, the Pantages Theater once again becomes the setting for the clip’s spectacular closing but this time they are outside the theater for a “flash mob” dance scene.

Message to john mcclain

Dear John McClain,

you are not a good producer, please leave Michaels music alone!
You already blatantly messed up 'Behind The Mask' and other songs from the "Michael" album by adding and changing things in a way that screams of deaf ears. Please leave the production jobs to the professionals.

You're not doing Michaels legacy any favour by adding the worlds most famous drum sounds of 'Billie Jean' to a NEW Michael Jackson Song. It makes 'Hollywood Tonite' sound like a cheap & desperate attempt to rehash a bit of the old Thriller times glory. The highlight song of this album now sounds absolutely ridiculous and i feel sorry for everyone who will hear the song first in this version.

In the name of Michaels legacy - dear John McClain - please leave Michaels music alone!
Thank you.
