Cartoon on Murray and what happened.

^^If the situation was not so serious, and if Michael did not suffer, I would have found this very funny. If Michael had a cold and recovered, for example, I would have appreciated the humor in it. However, the situation with Michael is so critical. We have the trial coming up, and Jermaine just went and wrote some dangerous statements, that can taint a potential jury. Given these things, I am unable to enjoy this at this time. I know some will find it funny, and that is OK too.

I agree with Petrarose. Not sure how people could find this humorous.

It made me cry. It made me very angry. To just imagine that this scenario is possible and that it is even probable, and resulted in the loss of MJ's life is sickening.

I'll pass from taking a look. I don't find any humor in this trial whatsoever. :(

Of course a satirical cartoon on real life situations is always exaggerated because it wants to point out a situation in an extreme way. I was sure to mention it might be offensive but it kind of shows what an irresponsible person Murray was. I was watching this great live concert video the other day where Michael performs and Usher comes on stage. Chris Tucker joins them after a dance duel. You can hardly watch THAT video without thinking what a talent and genius is gone because a person who was supposed to be a specialist caused MJ's death. If it had been a car accident, cancer, a situation like Heath Ledger or Amy Winehouse, you would think it's tragic but that's the way it is but in this case Michael had an expert there who was busy doing something else when he was supposed to protect a person's life and instead an otherwise healthy human being dies under the lack his supervision. That's like a bodyguard who ducks when his client gets attacked.

It still seems unreal.....

Can't even raise a smile at this. The end result was too tragic.

I agree. Why did this have to happen

The portrayal of Murray is hilarious. What a douchebag.

I didn't find it funny, but it's not offensive either. It's just a spoof video, not necessarily depicting exactly what happened that day. Who saw Dr. Murray j***ing off?

Well, the the whole phone sex and j***ing off bit might come as a bit offensive but that was just the exaggeration of a satirical cartoon. It doesn't really matter if he was on the phone having phone sex or congratulating his mother for her birthday. The fact is he should have supervised MJ 24/7 with the medication given. Like my example with the bodyguard: a bodyguard has to be 100% alert when protecting a client and can't be off phoning, going to the toilet or whatever.
If Murray had to go to the toilet, he should have had an assistant who substitutes him for a moment because the danger that someone stops breathing is huge when taking propofol.
There is no excuse.

I don't think ElJay posted this to give us all some laughs. All he said was that it sort of summed up the situation, which I would have to agree with. If anything, it paints the entirety of Murray's pathetic ordeal, his sheer incompetence and downright disregard for his patient in a clear-cut, no-nonsense, simplistic manner. The format is irrelevant in this case--cartoon does not automatically mean humour. I'm not sure what the author's original purpose was, but what I gathered from it was exactly the nature of Conrad Murray, and his preoccupations at the time of his patient's death.

If anything, this depicts the events in a manner more grim than most.

The video is not graphic and was not meant to be offensive. It was just sad in a way, because it shows MJ asking for help while Murray chats on the phone, even though Mj never did. He was totally sedated. Still, it brings us a mental image what might have happened that day.
