Can someone write what it says? - I can't really read it!

You can see that Kenny really cared about MJ.

Think I got it all

Randy

I will do whatever I can to be of help with this situation. If you need me to come to the house, just give me a call in the morning. My concern is now that we've brought the doctor into the fold and have played the tough love, now or never card is that the artist may be unable to rise to the occasion due to real emotional stuff. He appeared quite weak and fatigued this evening. He had a terrible case of the chills, was trembling, rambling and obsessing. Everything in me says he should be psychologically evaluated. If we have any chance at all to get him back in the light. It's going to take a strong therapist to help him through this as well as immediate physical nurturing. I was told by our chereographer that during the artists costume fitting with his designer tonight they noticed he's lost more weight. As far as i can tell there is no one taking care responsibility (caring for) for him on a daily basis. Where was his assistant tonight? Tonight I was feeding him, wrapping him in blankets to warm his chills, massaging his feet to calm him and calling his doctor. There were four security guards outside his door, but no one offering him a cup of hot tea. Finally it's important for everyone to know , I believe that he really wants this. I twould shatter him, Break his heart if we pulled the plug. He's terribly frightened it's all going to go away. He asked me repeatedly tonight if i was going to leave him. H e was practically begging for my confidence. It broke my heart. H e was like a lost boy. There still may be a chance he can rise to the occasion if we get him the help he needs

Sincerely,
Kenny

That is just heartbreaking. Everything I thought happened has now been obliterated, and it was in fact much worse.

Michael. :'(

You have to remember this was about an event that happened on one day and Kenny clearly said that he never saw Michael like this before. Which means, Michael didn't come on feeling cold and sick everyday. As someone said, everyone is allowed to have a sick day without being labeled as sickly.

So heartbreaking to read. I'm glad to know that Kenny seemed to actually care about MJ.

This whole situation with MJ is so sad and makes me angry as well.

I'm depressed about MJ's death all over again.

Maybe i shouldn't say this, but Kenny could have done something. This was 5 days before he passed away, if he was really losing weight and shivering and what not, it should have been a real sign that things aren't right. Ok, so he couldn't postpone or even cancel the shows cause that would have shattered Michael's world from what i understand, which is understandable, but he should have gotten help. What happened in between those 5 days after that email? Did he still show up for rehearsals? Didn't they claim that This is it shows performances from Michael taken...a day before his death? Very weird all this.

What exactly was Ortega supposed to do?

I believe Ortega testified during the preliminary hearing that Michael said something like: "I know you're worried, but I'm fine."

Then you have Michael's PERSONAL PHYSICIAN telling you to "mind your business," and to basically stay in your lane. "Ortega you're not a doctor, worry about the concert and let me worry about Michael Jackson's health."

Then the next time Michael shows up, he appears to be fine.

I really can't see what Ortega could have done differently, it's not like Michael was a child. We're talking about a 50 year old man.

Again, what was Ortega supposed to do? He made his concerns known and was dismissed by Michael's personal physician.

Apparently you didnt listen to the testimony - Here is the timeline given

MJ went home early on 19th becuase he was out of sorts Kenny sent email to Randy Phillips stating they need to help and that MJ wanted to do the shows. Kenny was called to a meeting with MJ and his doctor the following day to see what they could do to help MJ get stronger prepared physically and mentally. Dr told Kenny not to worry he would take care and MJ and get him strong. That he was the DR and for Kenny to take care of his job. MJ also said dont worry he will be fine.

Now the following June 20 - 21- 22 there were no rehearsals scheduled becuase they were moving into the staples Center - so MJ did NOT miss any rehearsals those days. He was relaxing rehearsing at home and building up his stregth _ when MJ returns on the 23 for the scheduled rehearsals he was better more alert , stonger and ready willing and able to take on the task andrehearsals _ same on the 24th - That is the time line .. Kenny did do something. He contacted his boss and went to meet with MJ and his DR to see what was needed to help MJ . Now remember no one was aware what Murray was doing behind closed doors to MJ . to them he was working on getting healthier and stronger and they seen MJ in much better condition when he returned for the last rehearsals - They thought what ever was wrong had been dealt with and they were all happlily looking forward incuding MJ.

Yes, Murray pretty much told Ortega to back off after that e-mail had been sent. Reading this, my heart sank, there were concerns for Michael but it sounds like these concerts weren't postponed or canceled for Michael's sake. Which is something I can understand seeing all that he went through during his last couple of years. This was his comeback, this was once again, his shining moment, where everyone could look at him and say "wow, what an exceptional talent and person", instead of "Yea, he's a great artist, but he has issues, etc". This meant almost everything to Michael, judging from Kenny's testimony. Put yourself in Michael's shoes, being so excited for this concert and having such a desire to make it happen, only to be told that it's off because those who claim they're their to see this thing into fruition ultimately can't rely on you to do your duties. That would've crushed him.

I think some fans are having 20/20 hindsight problems with Kenny. It's easier to pass blame after the fact, but by all indication, Michael was only really sick for one day and Kenny made his concerns known to AEG. Really as a employee, that was all he could do. It wouldn't be professional to call a grown man's mother. I mean if your boss was sick for a day, would you automatically think were mortally ill and attempt to directly interfere with their lives?

Also, Michael had a doctor said he was fine. Really, Kenny did everything he could had done because at the end of the day, Michael was an adult.

When Michael died some other fan repeatedly said Michael needed someone to take care of himself, someone like a girlfriend, wife or some genuine friend, cuz he had none, back then many fans didn't agree with the fan who was saying this, today I think that fan was right, he needed someone, granted he was 50 but he was extremely sensitive, he needed someone to take care of himself, to prevent him being crushed, to build up his confidence, to make himr realize he still had it regardless of these shows. unfortunately it seems as if mike had no one in his life who could do that for him in his final months.

I'm not saying that they would've been able to prevent Murray killing Michael (I don't know about that), but I do believe that such a person would've helped Michael regain the confidence he lost due to the 2003/05 occurances.

But what gets me is why didnt conrad send michael to hospital!!!!!!!!!?????

He knew michael was unwell and did nothing bout it!

twinklEE, you know you my little homie, but I have to disagree with you on this one.

Michael Jackson marched to the beat of his OWN drum. I seriously doubt that he would have listened to anyone, even a beloved wife and/or girlfriend. Michael was Michael and once he put his mind to something, I seriously doubt anybody could change his mind.

I'm up there in age and can tell you, once you reach a certain age, you are set in your ways, you ain't really trying to hear what somebody else has to say, i.e. "don't be telling me what to do woman!"

And I truly believe that Michael Jackson was set in his ways. God love em!

u may be right apple .. he was very stubborn after all. i jsut dont know i jsut try to figure out how all this could've been prevented and honestly i have no answer.

As much as i dont like lmp but isnt that what she once said bout mj..??

yeah she did, she said he was stubborn nobody could make him do/listen to stuff he didn't want to.

To be fair, a number of people have said the exact same thing about Michael over the years. Once he got an idea, he went for it. Just like no one couldn't tell him that his next album after Off the Wall wouldn't be the best selling album ever despite everyone telling him how unlikely it was for it to happened give the state of the industry back then. Or even after 93 Michael still had sleep overs and invited kids to his house.

Michael was a very stubborn man and it helped him greatly succeed in life, but it also hurt him greatly.

That's right, despite everything, Ortega is not a doctor, so we shouldn't become too distracted by him. Reading all he said now, I think he did what he could at the moment, and Murray drove him away. I think that will be relevant later on, as it shows Murray knew of whatever happened that made Ortega worry about Michael, and yet continued administering propofol, etc. That shows clear disregard for the patient's welfare, after all, if even a layman like Ortega could tell something was amiss, there is no excuse for Murray's behaviour after that point.

This has all been incredibly difficult, it's like re-living June 2009 all over again.
