Murray trial Day 23, November 3rd - discussion

So since the jury deliberations are not public, how will we know they are done and reached a verdict?
How will we know when to hear it?

they notify when they have a verdict and it will be announced to the media. they will read the verdict 2 hours later.

It will be anounced on TV/online by the media that a verdict was reached that's how we will find out and how it usually happens someone inside the court room will give them the word.

So since the jury deliberations are not public, how will we know they are done and reached a verdict? How will we know when to hear it?
The jurrors tell the court staff and the court anounce to the media there is a verdict. in 05 the first sign we got was the judge went to lunch or left the building. something they cant do when deliberations are ongoing. so ppl thought something was happ. then the media reported it

Yes u will just have to wait for the announcement however way u get the news through the TV or here by reading it. But, Murray will proably be home waiting so we will have to wait until he arrives to hear the verdict. It won't happen that fast.

For example Yrs ago MJ had an hr to get to the court room to hear the verdict and he was home at neverland when he found out a verdict was reached.

the '05 trail, it took the jury 13 days to deliberate. We were on pins and needles. When the news broke that the jury had reached a verdict, The Jackson's got in the SUV's and drove to the court house in Santa Maria.

It think TMZ has the most efficent when getting news out quickly ; we will have to wait, listen to the news...

Answers to some questions

When are we going to have the verdict?

No one knows. It could be as early as tomorrow or it could take days or weeks.

How will we know the jury reached a verdict?

Jury will notify the court staff that they reached a verdict. Court will notify the media and family. They would give 2 hours for everyone to arrive and then air the verdict.

I personally think one of the funniest lines is when he talked about Chase and how the defense blame her. Walgren stuttered back and forward for a second saying they blame her for either not calling security or 911, before he eventually said whatever. He then pointed out how she's a cook, what the heck is she supposed to do that a doctor couldn't.

But, Walgren pointed out the problem I've had with Murray and his defense the entire time. Since Murray spoke on those tapes, it has always been about him. The fact the defense played the 'poor me' card at the end is sicken since they chose to speak of the tragedy of Michael's death and the pain it has cause his children and those around him, it was always about Murray. Even if Murray was innocence the fact that they showed no kind of sympathy, understanding, or even care that Michael died and characterize it as almost an inconvenience reflects badly on Murray as a person.

c0nRat was killing are michael for two months then leave MJ's home on sunday and make a new like, (baby) with Ms. Alveras. So he took a life and made one at the sametime. Discussting!

I'm assuming the verdict can only happen within court times ie 9am-4pm?

I can't believe that i have wasted so much time on the defence theory - trying to decipher flannigan's interminable explanations of lorazapam, with its half-life, its redistribution, its blood levels, and all the time the whole thng was a conspiracy between fleak and alberto, with the chef apparently shouldering some of the blame.

Something else I wanted to mention for some time now, isn't it funny how everyone from the defense seems to be meeting at Flanagan's? Staying at Flanagan's house etc? White testified that he stayed at Flanagan's house, Chernoff is reportedly staying at someone's house in LA too, I assume it's Flanazepam's.. it just seems strange to me..

please pray for justice more than ever during this trial period...

because for now, i think we can only pray pray and pray...

Walgren's last speech, OMG!!! he made me cry... he is very successful. thank you Mr. Walgren, thank you.. we love you!!

Wow thx all for the updates and anwers!

Ivy thank you for the answers. We have to wait. And pray and see. We have to stay together and be strong. Although i feel like falling apart.

Walgren did amazing and like ivy said its good that they look in to how to thank them! We all want that i assume.

Ill see you all i hope tomorrow! Night night

ok guys I missed that last few minutes of Walgren's rebuttal...did the jury get the case yet? Thanks,

Well let's give the jurors the time they need to make a good decision. "rushed" does not always mean good.

Maybe not :( But my hearth cant take it that long, :(

And IMO its a clear case, but he im biased :S

Goodnite Elusive, sleep well

"Inside Judge Michael Pastor's courtroom, Jackson's mother, Katherine and sister La Toya dabbed away tears as Walgren recalled the emotional impact of Jackson's death on the pop star's three children, who had been looking forward to seeing their father perform a 50-concert extravaganza in London.

"Paris … screamed, 'Daddy!' as she broke down in tears. Prince had a shocked look on his face and was crying," Walgren said. "This what Conrad Murray did not just to Michael Jackson, but to his children."

"Defence accused the prosecution of playing on the jury's sympathies by unnecessarily identifying Jackson's children and discussing their reactions. He also said they demonized Murray by forcing his attractive, young mistress to testify needlessly about how the propofol was shipped to her Santa Monica apartment."

All together now: Pooooor Conrad Murray.....

Win or lose (win of course) Walgren should be elevated to TMez status... I wonder if he realizes the impact he has had on us? I'd swear I saw sparks shooting out of his eyes during that rebuttal. It was epic! And he did it all without a teleprompter, or hardly any notes and all whipped up while chernoff was droning on and on and on and on...
What a way great way to end the night!

Walgreen did a fantastic job. Now I pray for justice for Michael...

If we are sending flowers and thank you notes to the prosecution team and their key witnesses, I'm in!
