Murray trial Day 23, November 3rd - discussion

The jury will begin deliberations tomorrow when it is convenient for them. How vague is that?

He said everything we have talked about and felt. It felt like one of us were standing there talking to the jury as crazy as it sounds. Now I feel scared as what happens next.

All that can be done has been done. Let's stand strong together and think positive thoughts guys. xxx

Thanks to everyone who has provided updates throughout. Without MJJC I would have been lost. xx

David B. Walgren was amazing, his final closing argument was so emotional and passionate, like Elusive said, he was angry. The nerve of Chernof to get on there and portray Murray as the victim, just wow David!
I liked how David emphasized on the solitary part of the charge, it's just one single account of IVM, and common sense tells you that the verdict should be guilty.

Let's all take a moment guys and think about Michael and send a prayer for ''justice'' to be done.

I hope they will come back tmr with a verdict!

It can be a quikc one. For us the case is simple.

Well it's in the hands of the jury now. I'm nervous! Ahh

Walgreen & Brazil did an EXCELLENT job though, nothing more they could have done. I hope the Jury does the right thing.

forgot to add, Walgren's absolutely right when he said that, if the defense had enough time they would've blamed Prince as well for not calling 911

Ok, I waited for the closing to be over to write about it.

Walgreen was amazing. As opposed to Chernoff, who was obnoxious to everyone during the trial and "nice" to the jury, Walgreen proved that a nice and educated guy can be furious over something he truly believes in. He waited to bring everything home. I think he touched all the points we have been thinking of and discussed here - for me it was the fact that the miracle is that Michael had survived for so long under these circumstances.

There is no doubt in my mind as to what the verdict will be. I don't know if the judge is allowed to express his own opinion when giving the sentence (I have seen that in some movies), that would be interesting. And I'm torn between feeling sorry for Conrad Murray and believing that whatever time he serves, it is nothing.

I just want to echo what others here have already said, David Walgreen has been excellent. I'm going to watch todays trial now as I've been at work. Not entirely relevant, but did anyone here know Chernoff was/is a patient of Murray's?

are they going to stream jury deliberations or not?

Yes, I did. He looked defeated.

I almost started to clap my hands when he said thank you

I clapped mine and everyone at the house thinks I'm crazy :)

@Ivy I did the same thing, and my sis gave me a ''girl ur crazy'' look lol

"Inside Judge Michael Pastor's courtroom, Jackson's mother, Katherine and sister La Toya dabbed away tears as Walgren recalled the emotional impact of Jackson's death on the pop star's three children, who had been looking forward to seeing their father perform a 50-concert extravaganza in London.

"Paris … screamed, 'Daddy!' as she broke down in tears. Prince had a shocked look on his face and was crying," Walgren said. "This what Conrad Murray did not just to Michael Jackson, but to his children."

"Defence accused the prosecution of playing on the jury's sympathies by unnecessarily identifying Jackson's children and discussing their reactions. He also said they demonized Murray by forcing his attractive, young mistress to testify needlessly about how the propofol was shipped to her Santa Monica apartment."

Ok lets all hope we dont have to wait over the weekend for a verdict!!

Well let's give the jurors the time they need to make a good decision. "rushed" does not always mean good.
