Awful mix. Too much going on. Even for Afrojack standards this is way under his capability.

Re: Do you like the new Pepsi BAD (Afrojack Remix) ? Poll for fun!

Dunno, I think it's ok mix.

Re: Pepsi Bad Remixes - ACTIVE

We do not know for sure this will be on the BAD25 disc 2 right?

Maybe this is a mix made only for Pepsi...

Re: Pepsi Bad Remixes - ACTIVE

nice bass, horrible mono vocals.
the mix is ok for me. but not a great mix. a bit better than a fanmade mix.

Re: Pepsi Bad Remixes - ACTIVE

Pepsi Bad Remixes is active and working

This is what you need to do :

you need a picture of the can

send it to mj@pepsi.com

you get an email with a link

that link shows your picture and asks if you want to share it with your friend on facebook /twitter - you can choose "no thanks" and not share the picture

it sends you another link that you can preview and download a remix

------------------------------

I was given Bad remix by Afrojack (quite good remix btw, I liked it) plus the links seem to fixed. I was able to open the link in another browser / machine. Although I'm not sure if we can share/ post them or not.

can u please post the links from the next mixes here too?
i only want to have the original file. not all these youtube files and site rips.

Re: Pepsi Bad Remixes - ACTIVE

Meh, it's okay I guess.

I have to be honest here and say I was expecting something worse. It's not something I would listen more than a few times though, so yeah. Still, it's a free remix and it's promoting Bad25 to a younger audience, which is always a good thing. It's a "take it or leave it" remix and if people like it, that's fine.

I admit, it was kinda catchy... the first two or three times I listened to it.

I don't mind remixes but like others have said, I just hope they don't waste up valuable space on the second CD of Bad25 with these remixes. They should release the remixes as part of the Pepsi thing, for free or whatever but I don't think they should be put on Bad25 as well. I mean, people will get them for free (I suppose) as part of this Pepsi promotion and by the time Bad25 will come out, people will already have them.

So why include them on the second disc as well? They wouldn't be new and they would just waste up valuable space which could be filled with unreleased songs/demos instead.

Just my opinion...

Re: Pepsi Bad Remixes - ACTIVE

I love the remix! I don't know if the Pepsi remixes will be on the Bad25 album, but if they are it's fine with me. I don't think having them on the album means less unreleased songs/demos, because they're probably not going to release lots of new songs or demos, whether the remixes are there or not. And actually I think it might be nice to have them on the album, because at least the Afrojack remix is worth listening to, and not everybody is going to listen to it online.

Re: Do you like the new Pepsi BAD (Afrojack Remix) ? Poll for fun!

I don't like it... Really really BAD.

Re: Pepsi Bad Remixes - ACTIVE

Re: Do you like the new Pepsi BAD (Afrojack Remix) ? Poll for fun!

meeeh :s

Re: Do you like the new Pepsi BAD (Afrojack Remix) ? Poll for fun!

Lol I actually expected it to be worse :p
It's a Pepsi remix right? And it's for free isn't it? And I wouldn't say it was afwul. There are remixes which I dislike a lot more.

Re: Do you like the new Pepsi BAD (Afrojack Remix) ? Poll for fun!

Meh, nothing special.

Re: Do you like the new Pepsi BAD (Afrojack Remix) ? Poll for fun!

I really really do not like it. I was unable to listen to the end of the track

Re: Pepsi Bad Remixes - ACTIVE

@ T.N.A - I agree...As much as I like this remix, I hope it's not on the album...:) ...Or at least, not too many mixes on the album...It's already available for free, so it'd be useless to include it....To me, these remixes are just like the free toys you get in a cereal box :D...You know, just for fun ;)

Re: Pepsi Bad Remixes - ACTIVE

They should release one new remix every 1-2 weeks and then release a promo Pepsi CD with all remixes that you get if you buy enough pepsi cans or something. They should not include Pepsi remixes on Bad 25, maybe some other remixes.

Re: Do you like the new Pepsi BAD (Afrojack Remix) ? Poll for fun!

It's not as good as the original, but it's ok. I wouldn't pay for it, but I think it can be good promotion for Bad, since of course they're not gonna give out the original song anyway. It can make people want to hear the original, and that was the goal here.

Do be honest, I expected them to completely mess up the song, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Re: Do you like the new Pepsi BAD (Afrojack Remix) ? Poll for fun!

It is OK. It's better than some remixes released in the '90 especially remixes from Dangerous album.

Michael Jackson – Bad (Afrojack Remix) [Preview]By Petar Kujundzic / Music, Tracks / 54 minutes ago / 161 Views

As previously reported, the illustrious trio of A-Trak, Diplo, and Skrillex have been commisioned to rework Michael Jackson's timeless single "Bad" in honor of its 25th anniversary. Pepsi and Sony music have partnered with Michael Jackson’s estate to celebrate this occasion properly by enlisting the help of electronica artists to reinterpret the legendary tune. This also includes Dutch producer Afrojack who turns in his rendition which retains the original beat structure but speeds things up a little bit. Tune in above and see if Afrojack did the song justice.

Re: Pepsi Bad Remixes - ACTIVE

Great remix, reminds me of something that would be on a BOTDF maxi single.

Re: Pepsi Bad Remixes - ACTIVE

I tried sending another picture today, still giving the afrojack remix.

I don't like any of the re-mixes. Never did and never will. MJ's music was prefect the way he did them so why mess with a great album. I would like to see the tours he did on DVD's and listen to his never heard before music, even if they aren't finished, just so long as they are his songs without anyone touching them. But that is just my opinion.
