Such photos most likely are part of various fan events in which special guests (MJ’s collaborators, etc.) will present to an exclusive audience their experiences along with video/audio projects.

These events take place in order to celebrate the 25 years of the release of the ‘Dangerous' album.

For example, two of them are going to take place in London & Lyon respectively:

Personally, I am not a fan at all of such events because I think that certain people want to capitalize on some MJ’s fans (these events have obviously no free-admission).

As of yet, nothing official has been announced about a possible, oncoming anniversary release of the ‘Dangerous’ album.

I was just looking up 'Someone put your Hand Out' on YouTube and saw a commercial for Dangerous 25 coming September 2016. Is that legit?
Or fan made? Looked real.

Nothing's been announced. If it was an actual ad (I.e. Someone paid Google and it was overlaid on the video/on the sidebar), then I'd be interested. Otherwise nah, fan made at this stage.

^^ You're reaching now. They tweet album reviews on the regular.

Just because this is the 25th anniversary does not mean anything. Let us not forget the fact that there is absolutely no indication from any source that Dangerous25 was ever even discussed among the Estate higher-ups.

I don't need you tell me whether or not I'm reaching, and I know that there hasn't been any word of it happening, but there's really no harm in posting a tweet.

The implication though is that their posting a Dangerous review is correlated to a possible Dangerous25. Someone is going to take your post and run with it as some kind of hint or unspoken confirmation, which simply isn't true.

Well in certainly wasn't my intention to mislead anyone, and it's not really my fault if someone runs with it.
It really isn't that serious. :/

I do think the frequency of Dangerous related stuff lately does seem kinda interesting. I saw the tweet too and I wondered haha

maybe all these posts and tweets is their way of celebrating it

I'd like a 2 disc set with a collectors case..

1. original CD
2. out-takes

Collector case can be unfolded into a time machine where it takes us back to 1993 and depending the date we step into it, it takes us to that specific show back in '93.

I hope for exactly the same album, but maybe with a different picture on the back and an inferior booklet in the CD.

Sound familiar 2001????

I also hope they ruin the sound quality even further by reducing the dynamic range to 0dB.

I personally hope we get to hear what we've all been begging for for God knows how long.

"Gone Too Soon (Skrillex Remix) [featuring Lil Wayne]"

Hey! I like Skrillex! I've seen him in concert too! It was amazing! :)

I think that there should be a second disc that would have two new songs on it (as in two songs that were recorded during there era that pertain to this studio l.p. "Dangerous"), three instrumentals, eight demos, and four alternative versions of songs that were/are on the original studio l.p. Or at least something to these proportions per se that would fit onto one c.d. THEN I think that there should be a d.v.d. of a concert (probably Tokyo since there were so many shows there (five, right?). I mean as it is there are so many shows filmed from his solo tours there should not be any holding back at this point, eh? On top of that any sort of re-releases could probably be done in the future that are different edits and that would hopefully have behind the scenes features down the line years from now, eh. THEN there should be two c.d.s that are the audio of the show. Outside of that the original recording of the title track should be removed and replaced with a different version that not only is great but listenable as the one that got released is atrocious and unlistenable. Any performance version of it will work and work wonders. Those are all VERY good! How should the packaging be? I would say probably something different from "Bad 25" as classically ace as that project is...

Tokyo is a great concert choice, because that has BAD and The Way You Make Me Feel in the set list.

Am I the only one getting sick of this sort of approach to a possible concert release?

There is no confirmation that Tokyo 1992 was recorded on film. Leaked videos of the show resemble Wembley 1988 in terms of quality, and that is a situation absolutely no one wants to go through again. (I still find the show to be excellent but some people can't get past the quality and will openly complain about it every opportunity they get, which I can understand justifiably. It simply isn't worth the strain.)

Fans keep hyping themselves up with the vague possibility that they will be getting what they want out of a Dangerous25 that, if it ever happens, they will ultimately be upset because their mental vision of what could happen almost certainly will not be what actually happens.

Such is the failure of every estate projects - fans expect unrealistic or astronomically-high things then complain when the project didn't fit their idea of perfection. Very same thing happened with Bad25.

Well, hopefully the first concerts to get official releases (outside of the two so far, eh) will be theatrical releases which on top of that will hopefully allow more types of features films concerning Michael to be done as well! Why would you base your opinion on the quality of something that was only bootlegged?! That's ridiculous! There was nothing wrong with "Live At Wembley July 16, 1988!". It was exactly how it should be. Hopefully a better version will be re-released at some point you know? ...and with a different edit and or edits, eh?! There is nothing wrong with "going through that situation again" if there is and or are not a better version than the one that was released in "Bad 25"! For crying out loud. Of course I hope things like don't happen much more in the future BUT until the public and people are willing to pay for their product and service there certainly isn't any reason to do anything is there?

The only thing that happened with "Bad 25" was that it was masterfully executed and perfect for what it was to be which was a limited edition 25th anniversary edition! Just like "Thriller 25" was as well! I really don't see why "Dangerous 25" has to be a "vague possibility" when there are so many fascinating ideas and concepts for re-releases concerning that l.p. and project! You certainly don't want to wait until "Dangerous 50"!!! RIGHT?!!!

I see no difference between you & those fans. I mean both of you simply speculate about what will happen (or will not happen) when it comes to certain releases.

Also, the official editions of ‘Bad 25’ catered for all tastes (from the most hard-core fans to the rather casual ones). I think your complaints do not seem to make sense here.

It doesn't have to be on film. A Blu-Ray in HD would be awesome but SD concerts deserve to be released too. Also they won't all look like Wembley. You can get good quality from master tapes. Like the Dirty Diana performance from Bad Tour that is officially on Youtube and the Bucharest concert.

The difference here lies in the fact that the idealistic speculations given by some fans came out of absolute nowhere as, again, Dangerous25 was never alluded to or confirmed in any medium by any verifiable source. If a D25 is never delivered, there will be a wave of disappointment across the forum, coupled with complaints and angry comments directed at the estate, none of which would be justified. My expectations are kept nonexistent; in that way, I'm either pleasantly surprised or said expectations are met exactly.

Bad25 was slammed by some for not including enough unreleased tracks/demos. It was criticized by some for selling a VHS-copied performance in the age of high definition. It was lambasted by others for including remixes. It was ripped to shreds by others still because it didn't include the original album pressing. And yes, I know of fans on several forums who flat-out did not purchase it.

My point? Some fans go into these projects with a wish list that is absolutely foolish and then jump to complain when every item on said list is not checked off, as if it's their fault.

The same thing happened with Xscape - there was anger that the "Blue Gangsta" demo was not the same version that leaked online back in 2010.

It's nonsensical actions.
