Oh La La! Ola Ray Returns!: If Heidi thought she had competition with Lauren Conrad's fashion line, wait until she gets a glimpse of Ola Ray in her new sexy lingerie collection! Before you ask the inevitable, "Who?"… Ola Ray is best known for her role as the screaming and terrified girlfriend of Michael Jackson in his legendary "Thriller" video. Ola was spotted modeling for her own line of lingerie in her hometown of Sacramento. Looks like everyone's cashin' in on "Thriller's" 25th anniversary!

I swear I had your "admiration" for the Queen in mind when I read the article

I'm glad about them choosing an MJ song, but still don't like the idea of swearing oath to the Queen, or to anyone at all...

I know, they should pledge their allegiance to me instead

Re: Kids May Have To Swear Pledge To Queen (UK) (MJ Related)

I don't think they should make children swear allegiance to the Queen at school. Fair enough if some children want to do that but not everybody will feel the same way and have their own views and opinion on things. However singing a song about social harmony or peace and respecting one another each morning would be nice because maybe it would help spread the message that although we all have our differences, there are certain bonds thaat we all have that make us one and the same :).

Re: Kids May Have To Swear Pledge To Queen (UK) (MJ Related)

We used to sing Heal The World in primary school. But I was unaware that it was an MJ song at the time. But it was one of my favourite songs to sing as a kid. It gave out a very positive message. A message that all children should know about. I'm up for all the singing an MJ song.:punk:

same here, singing assembley is what we used to call it and it was jokes!!!! we sang heal the world, we are the world and burn this dicso out and bare beatles songs and other pop hits. every wednesday mornin and friday afternoon

It could go up when the real score comes in couldn't it? I wonder if this weeks dancing has anything to do with it. I can see lots of young men going out and buying it to dance to the songs.:D

I loved the way TeamMJ has reined in AccessHollywood (NBC) !!!

See, just as I expected. I knew that T25 would jump up this week.

Looks like T25 will be jumping all this year as we see different singles and promos coming out.

Wow that is absolutely fantastic that MJ is at No.4 this week. Really incredible and selling 50,000. That's brings his total in the US to 320,000.

According to album sale monitoring site, HITS Daily Double, Thriller 25 has climbed from #9 back up to #4 in top sales this week. With an estimated 20% increase in sales and 49,181 copies sold in the past week, Michael Jackson's Thriller 25 continues to outperform many of today's new studio albums. In fact, only seven albums within the top 50 saw any increase in sales this week, none of which came close to the 20% increase of Thriller 25. Janet Jackson's new album, Discipline, has dropped from the #1 spot to #3, with a sharp 71% decrease in weekly sales and just 2,572 projected sales greater than Thriller 25 (which was released two weeks prior to Discipline).

AGB are you basing the 320k on HITS numbers or do you have raw soundscan data?

I'm basing it on the hitsdailydouble numbers. I know the first two weeks for soundscan amounted to 229,000 altogether but I didn't see the soundscan sales for the third and fourth weeks. In the third week hitsdaily said that Thriller 25 had sold 41,000 plus and this week its 49,000 plus so that means altogether in the US Thriller 25 has sold at least 320,000 but its likely the soundscan figure is higher than that.

Okay thanks i hope with the continual success of it some music writer will give us a soundscan total :flowers:

That is amazing that T25 went from number 9 to number 4 in just a few days! Awesome!

Regarding Ola Ray - Whatever. As long as she is making that paper, I can't really hate on the hustle.

Re: Kids May Have To Swear Pledge To Queen (UK) (MJ Related)

LMAO! My friend at uni said they had to sing 'Earth Song' at assembly -- hahahahah!!! needless to say class wasn't all that thrilled!

but anyways, I have issues with this pledging allegiance thing so the whole idea of singing songs of praise and public holidays come as bizarre ideas to me..this government is definitely drunk..theyve been beating a dead horse for a very long time now, fuelling an unnecessary fire..taking issues with a muticultural britain and wants everyone to say what they think is truly British etc etc. this is how they distract us from the credit crunch and the war!

exactly, it seems the goverment has more issues with that stuff then ethnic minorities do, if someone wants to celebrate a public holidays then cool but this kind of crap I find annoying -_-

Congrats to the continued success of Thriller 25!!!!!!

Go Michael!
