2 new 2011 official calendars

yeah you are right, but it seems there will be two versions from Danilo one A3 Calendar and a smaller one.

remember the 1989 official calendar, there was a small one and a A3 one.
Danilo will not use the 2010 design again.

Sad but true. I've been an MJ fan for over 20 yrs and never purchased a calendar until last year. Today I will order both!!!

I don't know if anybody noticed, but the one thing that I love the most is the fact that this time (as opposed to last year's calendar) there are no DATES! yeah!! I hated seeing those dates! I think the estate must have listened to the fans complaining about that!

On another point, I think the reason they are not putting any or very little of Michael post 2000 is because they want to appeal to the widest audience possible- meaning the general public. The public I'm afraid to say- will not embrace the later Michael with the long straight hair. His most popular look was during the BAD Era, and as you know even Michael must have realized this because his TII look was the BAD era look- that curly hair, which I love btw.
 
I was able to purchase the Danilo/Browntrout 2010 calendar from Barnes and Noble last year. Hopefully I can get the 2011 there also.
 
I'm guessing that Columbia Pictures has the rights to This Is It images so it would be complicated to include them in the calendar.
 
I have already 2 officials calendars. One from 1994 and one for 2010.
Now I`ll order both of them.

Yeah I understand that, it's a shame it was case, but true. What I was trying to say was: if they used 2007 shots when only the core fans got to see them, then surely they can use (other) 2007 shots when a far larger audience will get to see them.
 
Anyway I think that in the near future more and more new pix will be revealed.
 
Will the Danilo calendar be available in 2 formats as in the past? I can only find the square-format version, but not the poster version as in the past.

I think I will have a problem if I get this calendar....I won't be able to make myself write on it. I want to keep it nice just to look at it LOL.
 
I will definitely get both of them - maybe four is better, two for drooling, two types on the wall!
 
Ooh looks good!! My thing is, why don't they ever put some of the gorgeous recent pictures of him in there? It is like it doesn't go past the Dangerous era. I don't discriminate any era! They are all sexy!! :wub:

I like calendars of Michael but I wish they would use more recent pics!

January - Little MJ (J5 days)
February - Teenage MJ (late 70's)
March - Off The Wall era
April - Thriller era
May - Bad era
June - Bad era (?) maybe 2 Bad pics since this seems to be his most popular era
July - Dangerous era
August - HIStory era
September - BOTDF era/late 90's pic
October - Invincible era
November - older MJ (maybe a picture from the Ebony or L'uomo Vogue photoshoots)
December - This Is It rehearsal pic

I'd maybe have a Victory Tour/We Are The World pic in place of your first Bad one... and surely you only mean that Bad is the most popular with the more committed fans? The Thriller era's always won the popularity contest with the general public, of course. ;) Otherwise, I love it.
 
I pre-ordered the calendars from Amazon and received an email saying one of them ( not sure which) is unavailable at this time. Previously they had it as delayed but now it says unavailable.
