Best Music Videos Ever Made

I've always loved all MJ's, Janet's, Prince's, and Madonna's music videos. Madonna's "Take A Bow" MV I always loved.

Biggie's "Mo' Money, Mo' Problems" MV with Diddy and Mase was pretty cool too.

In my honest opinion, Music Videos had their heyday in the late 80's and 90's. After that, it's kinda gone down the drain. I'm generalizing of course, so not EVERY one is bad, but the majority are.

Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal
a-ha - Take On Me
Peter Gabriel - SledgeHammer

Michael, Janet, and Madonna. They've always made the best most consistently artistic videos. I think today that Pink makes some really good videos in a modern age where videos don't matter. Britney too.

November Rain - Guns N' Roses
Everybody Hurts - R.E.M.
I Want To Break Free - Queen

:D

Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal

My personal opinion/choice would be Richard Marx's song "Hazard" since you have to try to figure out who killed Mary & it's quite a mystery too

And here's the info about it from Wikipedia.org

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hazard_(song)

Richard Marx: HAZARD

Who Killed Mary?

Throughout the song, backed by the video, it is unclear and thus left to the listener/viewer to decide who killed Mary. Marx's character is set up to be neither innocent or guilty, depending on how the evidence is viewed. For example, the video makes it apparent that Marx flees the scene where he sees Mary with the unidentified person, leaving his scarf behind, which is later used as an attempt to place him at the scene. Yet the lyrics state that he 'left her by the river [...] left her safe and sound', which contradicts the video. Additionally, how would Marx know that he left her there, if he had not been with her, because she 'went walking alone and never came home'? Furthermore, the video implies that the sheriff himself was responsible for Mary's death, as he is depicted as photographing her and following her in his car, maybe jealous of her and Marx's relationship. But what of the lyrics "..there's no escape for me this time, all of my rescues are gone.." The words "this time" imply that this situation has occurred before. Three different versions of the video were shot and aired on VH-1, and Marx himself appeared several times, challenging viewers to watch for all three versions, "...and see if you can figure out who killed Mary."
