They can't show the video tributes 'cause of copyright, that's why they show those two people during that time

Michael is actually one of the Youngest people EVER to recieve this award. He is in a unique position because of the age he started in the business and the incredible level of talent, ppopualrity and accomplishments and longevity. Thats why I think he got that award right now too. Many people have to wait many years to recieve it dead or alive.

Michael was also one of the youngest if not the youngest to recieve the GRAMMY LIVING LEGEND AWARD in 1993 too.
