this video was posted in one of the threads. I don't remember which...

I think most people on the streets don't care much... :(

Isn't that some sh*t?

It seems that yes the average person doesn't really care and is not properly informed, and still want to blame Michael because he "asked" for the drugs, yet Murry is a doctor and all these people seem to be satisfied with is Murry having his license suspended and probation..........A MAN IS DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!

He gave Michael drugs that killed him!!! Whether Michael 'supposedly' begged or not MURRY WAS THE DOCTOR the one charged with Michaels care, he FAILED grossly and caused a man to die!!

Then the people who agree that Murry should surrender and that he should get a longer sentence have poor knowledge to back up why they feel that way, nothing other than.."well because...Michael was a star and legend sooo..Murry should get more time"....

I mean damn! Murry should get IM because of his actions or lack of toward another human being...not because because of Michaels iconic status.

edit: Its as if Michael were the villian in a movie....

they really would let someone get away with his M****r

These ****** morons sicken me.

Interesting but yet sad to see how many stupid people there are in this world.
Everyone thinks they know everything about Michael Jackson's private life. Pathetic..he asked for drugs? Even if he did THEN why there is a doctor? he should have said NO!
He should rot in jail for many many years. ****** murder.

we have to remember these people aren't fans like us so they don't know as much information as us, they are speaking from what they get from the media. these are just random people on the streets being asked a question unprepared.

YEs, I bet they wouldn't think like this if it wasn't Michael Jackson who died at the hands of Murray under same exact circumstances, but one of their relatives.

im a bit on the fence where murray is concerned, i definitely feel gross negligence is the order of the day., he as a doctor should have said no but greed got in the way, and now a great man is gone. i think murray and whoever saw those tanks going in the house and all that jazz that was going on there should have reported them all . i would have cuz i love him that much. it's apparent to me that the ppl in his life did not or they would have ignored his wishes and looked out for his welfare. you cant alway adhere to lovedones to satisfiy them sometime you have to say no and dont be frightened. they sat back and watched this man go into michaels house and do this for weeks and did nothing about it. nothing. i hate this. all members in that household are culpable not just Murray all members , they couldnt have been in there and saw nothing, it's impossible. and it makes me sick. hate me if you want to but that';s how i feel . anyone reading this should take heed and dont let this happen in you family. take steps to put a stop to it. and dont be afraid.

Dont let this bother you. This hasnt even gone to court yet where all the evidence will be heard. Nobody know any of that facts yet.

Part of the problem, IMO, is that news coverage, as early as the evening of Michael's death had painted him as a drug abuser. Oxman and Michael's so-called "friends" were happy to chime in and talked about family interventions, etc., where even some family chimed in. So many people supposedly "close" to Michael saying they "expected" something like this. This was ALL before the autopsy report was finished so people all this in their heads from the beginning. It was not until weeks/months later that the autopsy report showed that Michael was NOT abusing any drugs at all at the time of his death. Whether he ever did in the past or not is entirely irrelevant to his cause of death. But because of the negative media blitz in the beginning and the time it took to complete the autopsy, many people have mistaken ideas about this case.

Oxman was on the street within minutes on the 25 June saying Michael died of prescription pills and was being enabled.

Brian came out from the Emergency Room @ 4:30pm EST and gave an impromptu interview all the while looking and asking for the CNN truck the whole time. Why he wanted CNN I dont know. There was a lot of talk in the background about CNN. When Oxman stops and answers questions, he says that Michael is in a difficult position at that time (not dead). He also straight away starts mentioning prescription medication. That wasnt very appropriate for a Family Spokesman was it? Also Oxman doesnt know a lot for an Spokesman either. Why was he looking for CNN if he doesnt know anything apart from the family is in LA and Joe was on his way. We already knew all that.

Brian doing the rounds also going on Geraldo on FOX on June 25:

Oxman is again on CNN's "American Morning" to once again say he was surrounded by enablers, but he would not name names:

Its mentioned that the coroners office said that Michael wasnt under the care of a specific physician for a medical condition which is why they have to do an autopsy (which they would have to do anyway):

And just a few weeks after loosing his "dear friend", on the 11 July, Oxman leaves the CNN building looking very happy (or toasted!):

We're all ignorant in some areas. Some of us wish to fix these areas of ignorance and some don't.

A celebrity death doesn't look important enough in comparison to world hunger, the health care crisis, Iran, etc.

I just hope they're happy in their ignorance.

...Now with that out of the way... these people are idiots. :)

WOW...watching all of that footage again sure was very difficult...it made me cry......Oxman sold out his "friend" from the very beginning.....saying..he was a pill addict...saying he knew that Michael's life would end this way......Oxman has not done anything for Michael in the end...he planted the seed that Michael was still on prescription drugs....he said this with no proof at all..he through Michael under the bus without as much as a tox report....also
he kept saying that Frank Dileo was with Michael at the time...he said that in two of those interviews...WHY would he say that??......Makes me wonder if Frank WAS called and he went to the house....IDK....Maybe he was just confused at the time..but..he did state that in 2 different interviews.....I think he tried to take credit for more than he really knew
about what was going on with Michael.

I just pray that we will get to see the full tox report at some point ...that is the only way some people will shut up.

Will they ever stop listening to what the media tell them though I am beginning to believe they won't, or is it easier for them just to believe all the lies and crap the media writes so they don't have to think and form their own opinions, it makes me sick people don't care sometimes this world is too crazy for me!!

I agree Nena.

I am picking up on what the lady said in that vid you posted from 1.37- to 1.53 :) In answer to the interviewers question do you think 4 yrs is enough? She said ''No''............he has taken a legend away, from his family, his fans everybody......'' :(

thanks for posting. It is interesting to see what people think, even random people on the street. As you say most people only go on what they have learnt, and unless you are a true fan and dedicate time to digging beneath the surface of media shice then they are restricted on what they know- they only know what media has portrayed............:(

Brian Oxman works for Joe Jackson. If you are to blame anyone here, then the ones who hire and pay him are to blame for this media circus.

I am really sorry to say this but the family has not helped in these instances at all. They continue to allow this man to be a spokesperson. Katherine, if she disagreed, could have long ago had her own lawyer or representative come forward and make a statement that Brian Oxman does NOT speak for the entire family. Period.

She never did and that leads me to think the whole family is behind all of this which makes me even sicker than I already am.

To go out in public and make claims that Michael was an out of control drug addict and needed help and this is why this happened......his own family no less?????

I have less respect for them the longer the case drags on. The public got this information directly from them. I think fans should be angry, but don't just be mad at Oxman. No one has come forward to deny it either.

it's interetsing hearing how people view this

Don't bother with that............most people are afraid to say what they are really thinking on TV...........also, we only see about 10% of all the people he interviewed..........that's how these "surveys" work!!!!!!!!

many people on the streets seem not care about Michael's homicide. This is why the fans we had to stand up for Michael, to let the world know we cared, to show the general public Michael was our family. I believed our action could bring attention to the public, to remind them Michael jackson was also the humanbeing and the victim. Millions people still cry for the lose of our family member and seek the justice for Michael.

Keep in mind, some of these people are Joe Blows and Joe Blows don't care about the celebs that they are not interested in. I really don't think the people are idiots. I would blame the media more for making them like that. Look at some of Mike's so called people. Oxman's ass was spewing bull only a few hours after Mike died and as much as I love some members of the Jackson family, Oxman did not deserve to be at the private funeral (and I wish they would cut their association with him). These people watch JVM, Nancy Grace and many other so called fact media she loves to shoot the drug addict angle of Mike's case.

yeah exactly. i must say it's not easy being an MJ fan you have to be on top of everything and we go thru alot emotionally but it's worth it for michael :) if only the public knew him like we do.

I agree. You can't blame people for believing the crap that they are told. They expect the media to report the truth. They expect Michael's "friends", of all people, to state the truth and not bullish. I guess some old friends could innocently assume "well, he took painkillers when I was friends with him way back in 2003, so that's what killed him". Uri Geller, Rabbi Shmuley and Deepak Chropa even Brian Oxman seem to have fallen into that "old friends who made assumptions" category. Those people should have shut their traps and waited for some official information, because now you watch that back and you think, man, the public believed all this ish.

When you have people saying he took 20+ Xanax pills a day, and painkillers, and Demerol, and Oxycontin, there were rumours going around about marijuana and Heroin... Of course people are going to look at the doctor as this poor innocent creature who got stuck with a patient that was taking all this stuff, and then he dies from overdosing. They are gonna feel bad for the "poor innocent doctor" who happened to have just been taking care of him at the time of his death is now being punished for it. It's sad that so many are so misinformed, but what can you do? The damage has already been done.

Hopefully when Murray is charged and a trial gets under way, we would have more answers to our questions, and the media report things as they are, the truth, not sensationalised garbage. They helped to destroy Michael's life by reporting bullish and exaggerated crap, we all want the truth this time. At least do it for those people on the street, who don't know what happened. I want the press to tell the world what really happened, so that Michael's family, his children, his REAL friends and his fans don't have to continue to try and set the record straight all the time. They shouldn't have to, because the world should know the truth.

It bothers me a bit how misinformed people can be, I'm willing to bet that most of the people interviewed in this video either don't care to be bothered by learning the facts, or just didn't care or were fans of Michael at all. I was becoming upset until the woman came on during the end explaining how Murray took away a families son, brother, and father from them, And I most certainly agree that Four years isn't a long enough penalty for what was done.

Sad, just sad...I have been so upset this weekend, I have had a bad attitude and cutting people off here at home cause of this DAMN MURRAY's ass. I need to calm my ass down. I can't help it though, it's just not right how the media, DA and LAPD, Oxman are handling things. It maskes me furious!
