I read Taj said it was for MJ's legacy...but then again he at first denied the kids were interviewed by Oprah...before he recanted after ish started leaking in the British tabloids about the kids wanting 2 buy back Neverland.

Oprah is conducting the interview....And she never said she wanted to set any record straight. Going by the LMP interview...there is no need to straighten any record...she still believes MJ is a pedophile.

Unless you believe Katherine's book "Never can say goodbye" is for the benefit of MJ's legacy. :doh:


That being said, I am looking forward to seeing this interview for one reason ONLY: Joe Jackson. He is always entertaining to watch in interviews.

He is the last person I wanna see in this interview, he absolutely makes me cringe when he speaks and I'm sure he'll come off as ridiculous as always and Oprah is just gonna eat that up!

NO! Of course not! Why would she and I never said she did!

I meant what Taj Jackson said the interview was for! Is that gonna actually come out that way? I don't know? When it airs we shall see!? That's what I meant by saying I understand why Katherine would be on if that was/is the case!? But, another thing is if Oprah will let that be the case? With her dumb line of questions that only imply what she really thinks!

And I have no idea what Katherine book is for?...Money is clearly one! But, it's not trashing MJ...so, yea I would say it won't hurt his legacy either! Better, Kate (his mother who at least showed him love) then poppa Joe!:bugeyed lol

well unless Katherine is asking the questions, I don't know why you are buying Taj's attempt to calm down fans who were appalled at Oprah setting foot in MJ's home.

Oprah will ask the questions SHE wants answers to.

This has nothing to do with clearing MJ's name...and more to do with the porn guy trying to sell his book for the Holidays. He arranged the interview...and as far as we know, MJ had no ties with him.
 
I can see a warmth and humility in Jackie's eyes and around him, quiet similar to Michael's.. He's a sweet person and very sensitive, too.. I remember listening to him being interviewed by phone by a British host, I think, about Michael's passing, and Jackie simply broke down and he sounded so heartfelt, it tore you apart...
 
I do like Jackie and he seems nice. When I hear him talk about Michael he chokes up. But honestly and I hope no one gets mad at me. To see him in that picture with Oprah smiling and whatever makes me cringe. I don't think i could sit and laugh let alone eat with someone who thinks what Oprah thinks about Michael. Especially if he is my brother. I understand what the show is for but doesn't he know what she had said and done? Something doesn't feel right about it. I hope I didn't offend anyone.

The talk show host, 56, was surprised by her longtime crush – Jackie Jackson of the Jackson 5 – while filming a segment for her Teen Heartthrobs episode.

Jackson, who popped up behind Winfrey unexpectedly at her desk with flowers while she was working and had no makeup on, says he was excited to make her dreams come true.

"It's been 10 or 12 years that she's been talking about me on her show, saying I was her favorite Jackson – I was her heartthrob," Jackson, 59, tells PEOPLE.

"My sister was on Oprah's show, and she came back and said, 'Oprah is in love with you. When she was a teenager, she had your pictures plastered all over her walls everywhere, and she thought she was going to marry you.'"

Added Jackson, "She looked up and saw me, and starts screaming. She couldn't believe it was me."

Jackson's appearance on Winfrey's show after a long haitus from the spotlight, is not the last you'll hear from him this year. He just released his first single since 1989 called "We Know What's Going On," and he's also releasing a Jackson 5 clothing line called J5 Collection.

The episode – which airs Thursday – features appearances and performances by additional teen heartthrobs of years past, including Shaun Cassidy (pictured), Peter Frampton and the Backstreet Boys, who were joined by ex-bandmate Kevin Richardson for a one-time reunion.

Oh boy Shaun Cassidy just performed. I remembered his remake of "Da Doo Run Run" but "Come on Get With it" has been completely out of my radar for the past 33 years! I am 14 again. Swoon! Hehe.
