I think she may also be feeling guilty over her past behavior towards her now-deceased little brother, and the excessive collecting is her attempt to compensate to compensate.

Overreact much? I don't need a history lesson on this family (My listening era pre-dates Thriller by decades, m'kay) and I stand by what I posted. LaToya IS creepy when it comes to Mike. As for any "guilt" she may feel for stabbing him in the back the way she did, she shouldn't have done it in the FIRST PLACE.

If one truly loves their family members, those kind of shady dealings wouldn't even cross one's mind/heart.

Well bar reading his mind all we can do is go by what Michael has said himself. I choose to believe him. Some fans should throw Latoya a bone and not under a bus. Yes she did wrong but spousal abuse is a horrifying thing to go through and people should acknowledge that.

So you were indeed serious in what you said about it being creepy, yet you send me a negative rep and say I need to lighten up and switch to decaf? What's more I took the time to ask if you were joking or serious, and I simply explained why she might be behaving that way. What exactly did I say that was nasty or even negative? I adressed myself to you quite calmly and reasonably. Why the attitude?

If you found what I said to be such an overreaction - - worthy of a negative rep & your two responses, no less - - then I don't think I'm the one who's being overly sensitive here.

What purpose does it serve to broadcast what anyone gave you rep-wise and private messaging, especially since such communications aren't set up for public consumption? YOU are the one that is overly sensitive and I still stand by what I posted (public or otherwise).

If you're attempting to put me on blast (i.e. trying to embarrass me, etc) it didn't work. All that shows is you have no respect for agreeing to disagree about this family of entertainers none of us are a part of.

I choose to believe that Michael was too classy to blast his sister in public just like he never burned Jermaine for Word To The Badd but I don't believe he ever had a good relationship with her again.

I can't tell you what I'd like to throw at LaToya but I will say that horrifying spousal abuse is no excuse for what she said and did to her brother. Toya was an adult and marrying Jack was of her own free will. She was not abducted and could have called the police, the media or her family at any time she wanted to leave. The truth is that LaToya was bitter and jealous of Michael because her career flopped. She got in over her head when Jack started pimping her so she threw her brother under the bus to try and save her own butt literally. Jack had her doing porn. When blackmailing Mike didn't work she called her family and took her sorry self home.

Well that certainly is not "the truth" that is what you perceive from the actions of Latoya and Michael. Leaving an abusive spouse isn't always so easy as that. There are many factors that go with it. Many women live with abusive spouses all their lives even after intervention from other family members.

It's clear that no empathy is going to be given to Latoya, but considering I've witnessed spousal abuse before I'm not going to be judgmental, too many people are.

Without going into details let me just say that I have also witnessed both child abuse and spousal abuse and I firmly stand by my opinion concerning LaToya Jackson. What she did is unforgivable the same way a mother giving her child to her abuser is unforgivable. Spousal abuse or not an ADULT is still legally as well as morally responsible for their own actions.

There is ZERO excuse for any adult in this world to accuse another of sexually abusing children, let alone accuse your own brother, not any brother, the one who had been feeding your whole family since he was 5 years old.

How could anyone justify what she did is beyond me.

Heh. Your words about having respect for agreeing to disagree are absolutely hypocritical. I calmly gave some possible explanations for LaToya's behavior, and it never even occurred to me that things would turn nasty. Yet they did - - because you chose to act like a snarky, bratty little teenager who'd rather have an attitude than have a genuine discussion. Deny it all you want, but the fact remains that YOU turned things in this direction. And your negative rep and message were quite relevant to this, especially in regards to showing yet another example of hypocrisy; the fact that you're saying that I'm the overly sensitive one when you are the one who's responding so negatively and excessively to things.

I've given you 2 chances now, and you've continued to bring hypocrisy and BS. I don't intend to waste any more of my time on you. If you miraculously change and improve your behavior after this, great! If not, that's on you. Since you've given me no reason to believe you or your behavior will change for the better, I don't plan on reading anymore of your replies. I think I've done a good job of laying out my position and pointing out the hypocrisy and inconsistency of your words.

The lenghts some of you take to defend the Jacksons are ridiculous and nonsensical.

There's NO excuse to accuse a brother of yours of such a horrendous crime he never commited. Neither using his children for her own benefit.

There's NO excuse talking BS (drug addiction and interventions crap) about your brother who can't no longer defend himself because he passed. Neither insulting and kidnnaping 3 orphaned minor's guardian.

I feel exactly the same. He used to be close with her even when he called her jokingly "an idiot". Of course after her "coming home" he never ever let her get too close to him and his children. The "family's photos" with her were just for "a show". Her involvement with Michael's funeral, etc, and his children after his death is just the tragedy for his image. I would love the children to "outgrow" LaToya's and other Jackson's brainwashing but I'm not optimistic about it.
