But what are the odds that Sony would actually invest in a multi-million dollar advertisement during the Superbowl for an album that does not come out for more than a week after the game, especially in this age of constantly declining CD sales? I mean, it's possible but these days its risky to spend such an amount to advertise any album. Perhaps the "spot" at the Superbowl will either be a live performance at some point (i.e., Akon) or, as was rumored, a commercial that doesn't strictly refer to Thriller 25 but instead features Michael and some other soon-to-be popular product, which would guarantee that it'd be replayed throughout the next week on all the entertainment and talk shows in addition to YouTube (which would directly and indirectly help in promotion of Thriller 25 the following week). Hmm.

sorry but right now no company in their right mind would use MJ to promote their product. lol. Nowadays MJ would have to PAY to be in a pepsi commercial. And I'm not kidding.
 
I just wanted to say - that in the last 3 days while flipping through radio stations in Austin, I have heard more MJ than I have in the last 6 months. Mostly song from Thriller and Off The Wall....seems to me that Austin DJs are warming up already : )

Diane Dimond. Lol, WTF. Is she still going? That stupid *****. I thought she was done with MJ. Now she's all over him. She's more obsessed than any fan on this forum. Renowned Investigator my arse! Renowned Sneddon's ball polisher more like it. WTF is she doing still reporting MJ stories? More importantly, WTF are people doing still asking for her opinions and using her a source for news and information about MJ? LOL. This has made my day. The woman once preaching to the world about MJ's guilt and certain conviction is now reporting on MJ entertainment news. She can't even get her facts right. MJ won 8 Grammy awards in 1984, not 1983.

Dang, Diane Dimond is STILL talking about MJ. Somebody needs to throw that dog a bone. LOL!

Her continued MJ obsession is probably preventing her from getting any real employment, her peers probably consider her a joke. Very embarrassing, if you ask me.
