I agree.. we're not even sure if she posted that blog.. how do we know if that was her? we are not even sure if MJ liked sunflowers

once again that's her official blog. after her first post about Michael in June her publicist confirmed it and her official website links back to that myspace. I don't understand what more confirmation do you need to believe that's her official blog.

The flowers -- which Lisa said were Michael's favorite -- were just dropped off outside of the singer's mausoleum at Forest Lawn Cemetery by the people from sunflowerguy.com.

We're told there are now around 1,500 sunflowers at the site ... which should be enough to get MJ through the weekend.
 
the whole sunflower fiasco is tasteless and uncalled for ,,,non of his close family memebrs or very dear friends made such stupid suggestions ...i'm waiting to see what was the real motive behind this "nice gesture from those who never been nice before" !!
 
Its so funny how fans will hate on those that say anything slightly negative about Michael. But when someone does something nice for MJ they are only faking it or trying to get something else out of it. Let it go, people. Just be happy Michaels grave is beautiful now.
 
Ya'll need to back off, the level of ridiculousness is beyond ludicrous, I suggest the usual trolls should stay out of this topic .

Isn't the space around him pretty bare because the other people that rest near him? I mean, it's a beautiful gesture, surely, and I'm sure Lisa meant well, but Forest Lawn probably regulates how much is allowed in because of the other people there. If you think about it, crowding their resting places is a bit... rude.

Michael's tomb is the only one no one is near him, they are all down the hall while he's got a kind of extra room, so it's not going to take away anyone's space if that's what ur concern is

This is a positive story for Michael _and SFG deserves the publicity for doing something positive for MJ
nothing wrong with it .. It was a good gesture - I hope Forest Lawn is overwhelmed with flowers for Michael
What a great thing to be publicised - that Michael Jackson receives so many flowers from around the
world that FL can't even contain them ---

I hope Michael recieves MILLIONS of flowers from corporations ,private citizens
and adoring fans and that the story is told all over the world for years and years

:) I don't think it matters how they got there - I just think it's lovely he is surrounded by flowers. I don't want to be cynical and think about the guys reasons - I just wan't to thank him for continuing to make the world remember Michael in any way - I bet it will be a beautiful sight and lovely that he will be surrounded by colour

Thank you Lorraine, I just don't get the immaturity going on here now...it's getting hard to even come on this board now except to say hi to a few friends... That guy donated those from his own pocket, I think it's great. It's definitely more than I could afford right now...but I wish I could do something like that. :yes:

Sunflowers are being delivered as we speak to Michael Jackson's mausoleum at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale. This past week, Lisa Marie Presley asked fans via MySpace to bring the King of pop sunflowers to the site of his mausoleum. Josh Levin, owner of sunflowerguy.com was quick to respond to Lisa Marie's request!

Levin tells X17online exclusively via cell phone on the way to Forest Lawn:

"We're delivering 300 bushels of sunflowers to Michael's site. If someone were to buy this amount in a store, it would cost them $5000 dollars. But we are happy to respond to Lisa Marie's request and donate the flowers."

Levin, accompanied by his assistant, left their flower shop in Vista, California this morning at 6:30, and arrived at 9:25am. Black buckets, each filled with 50 sunflowers, were delivered.

Forest Lawn tells X17online exclusively that this past Monday, Lisa Marie visited the cemetery with Sunflowers of her own. A source on site tells us,

"Lisa Marie carried in a portrait-sized frame and bushels of sunflowers. She carefully arranged them to look as though the sunflowers are coming out of the empty frame ... almost like a 3D portrait. She spent over an hour getting it just right."

As for getting this many flowers at once, Forest Lawn's flower shop tells X17online, "This is the first time we've received this kind of delivery. At the most, people have brought only 2 or 3 bouquets at once, but this is unbelievable! Security will definitely be escorting them in."

Okay this guy only did it for publicity probably but oh well...

Sad that some fans made it out to be such a negative thing just b/c they dislike LMP. Where's the LOVE?

At least Lisa's heart was in the right place and MJ is now surrounded by his "happy flower". :)

Michael Jackson crypt gets thousands of sunflowers

GLENDALE, Calif. — Sunflowers are now blooming outside Michael Jackson's crypt.

Grower Jason Levin on Friday delivered up to 2,000 sunflowers to the massive marble and concrete Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale.

Levin says he decided to donate the $3,000 to $5,000 worth of bright yellow flowers after hearing Lisa Marie Presley complained there were only a few bouquets, candles and gifts surrounding the tomb. And Levin heard sunflowers were the late pop star's favorite.

Levin, the owner of The Sunflower Guy in San Diego County, loaded up a truck and left Vista at dawn. Three hours later, he was unloading the flowers outside the heavily guarded mausoleum. Forest Lawn officials told him they would take them inside.

Jackson died at age 50 on June 25.

haha very true. that's our Michael :)

anyway, whatever the sunflower guy motives might have been I think it was a very nice gesture. He may be Michael's fan, Lisa's fan or he may be looking for publicity, I don't care. He did this and it's beautiful, so whatever publicity he gets he truly deserves!

Nice to know more about Lisa's visit. Very touching. It's obvious she cares about Michael. I think she didn't mean any harm or disrespect with her blog entry and I am sure she didn't expect the crazy response she got from some people.
