Ok i have to say this.
Katherine is what 80? you are all saying bad things of her, because of her actions. Why not be mad of the actions instead of her. She is the one who raised Michael, she is the one who michael loved the most in his fam. She is the one who take care of the children because Michael trusted her. You all love Michael why not trust him?
We only see the reports in the media. Do you know her personally do you have met her?? I hate to say this but u all do something michael hated the most
JUDGING people without asking them personally he why this or that. So can we talk about the case here? i thought the thread is about that! and not about who hates Katherine the most!
We DO "trust Michael!" His intentions were CLEAR, in his will, that charitable donations were to be managed by the ESTATE (and he didn't mention anyone else in that capacity in the will.)
If we "judged" people only if we "know them personally," nobody would ever VOTE in an election!
The case is
inextricable with Katherine, and Mann, and Johnson. Katherine is the one who signed the contract with Mann. Have you READ it??? The contract is not legal concerning the children, but if it were, she'd have been consigning the children to a life of
servitude, but there is no provision in the contract that the money goes to ANYONE but Katherine, and Mann!
In the end, people ARE their actions, as in, "WHAT does a person actually DO?" Anything else is hypocrisy. If a person says one thing, but does another, what do you believe/value? What is said, or
what is DONE?
We don't know the dynamic behind the will, and what was in Michael's mind at that time, or if he felt he had better options for the care of his children. What we DO know is that he designated a percentage of his wealth to charities, and fully intended, as per the will,
for the ESTATE to manage that, and certainly not his mother or anyone else in the family, or ANYONE else, other than the executors. And THAT is "about the case," right? In working with Mann in the way that she is,
Katherine is violating her own son's wishes, in terms of the will, and that is entirely obvious. I think that is more than enough to judge her behavior, even leaving out the other things she has done. . . . Her behavior makes many of us suspicious about what nonsense she can possibly do NEXT, that will harm her grandchildren! She dressed them up in HTW tee-shirts for a photo opportunity for an obviously bogus charity, and that OFFENDS many of us, deeply. Ultimately, it's the children's well-being that matters. Michael's mother was well provided for in the will, but obviously that was not ENOUGH for her!
So far the executors have been courteous to Katherine, but now, I hope they go after her, and go after her HARD! She's had "a pass" as Michael's mother, but through her actions, her INTENTIONS are very obvious now.
If
all we had was "
first-hand experience," about anything, we would not be able to make decisions, and we would not learn from history. Oh, and I fully support the Twitter campaign about HTW, which DOES include Katherine, in that she is a board member of HTW, and Mann's "business partner."
