Well I DEFINITELY can't see it being Prince & Justin. There's no way I think Prince would perform with that guy, just can't see it happening. Michael & Timberfake would be more likely but I certainly hope that's not the case. I would really turn in my fan card then if Michael ever performed with JT :lol:...j/k but I really don't wanna see that happen.
 
Hey Prince hooked up with Beyonce...so maybe he will with Justin LOL

WHo knows...we'll find out tomorrow. But i don't think it's likely that MJ will open a show IF he goes, appears, or whatever lol
 
Beyonce is different,the girl actually has talent.....but nah, no way Prince would duet or perform with Justin. Why would he wanna work with someone who blatantly tries to bite his style? And as far as MJ goes, I agree that it's highly unlikely MJ will perform or even show up at this point, but we'll see what happens.
 
"Star from the past" sounds like it is someone who is passed away.. Michael isn't a star from the past IMO. :) But who knows, it could mean that he is from the past because it's such a long time he has been performing really.

But maybe it's Akon with Sinatra. At least Akon is one of the very biggest stars of today because I think they mean America. Akon was the pop charts leader of last year to me. Justin was just mainly touring very big. I would say Akon is bigger than Justin "today".
 
Mj will be there, MJ will not be there.

The way I look at this is - his people have not confirmed or denied anything so we do not really know. And this is what I found weird - I am always the main one saying that fans should not e-mail Ms. Bain but no fan has done that yet! LOL.

Well, Sinatra was nominated around 30 times in Grammies although he had already had career peaks so I think it's right to have a tribute on him when they celebrate 50th Grammy. I like Sinatra's work a lot. He was kinda king of his era.
 
we were right about being suspicious of friedman "rooting" for Mj and making big deal of a performance which wasnt going to happen anyway. Now, hes saying Mj cancelled it for silly reasons... I cant beleive he gets away with making stuff up so easily.

LOL. You guys are funny. I go away and y'all blow this board up again! Anyway, I think the opening act is Alicia Keys' duet with Frank Sinatra. Whether that's the surprise, I dunno.

Prince is rumored to come on stage with the original Minneapolis sound and the group 'The Time', Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Whether Janet joins them is anyone's guess, and

I think it's been confirmed that Michael Jackson IS NOT

I REPEAT.

IS NOT PERFORMING.

Some are saying that he will not even be at the Grammys.

Personally speaking, I would hope that he would show up, given that there is to be a T-25 tribute and his CD is dropping on Tuesday.

But who knows?

Well, might want to turn it in now, cause he already did... twice, lol.

But that was before Timberflake turned in to a total prick and ripped Janet's shirt open. He wouldn't perform with him now I don't think.
 
I would rather see Justin T perform with Frank than with Michael. If he were to perform with Michael, that would be seen as Michael passing the mantle of King or Prince of Pop to him. And me, Chris, Usher, Omarion and NeYo aint havin that!

And they brought back a dead Nat to sing with his daughter, Natalie, so I can see them bringing back a dead Frank to sing with Justin. But I think they should let Nancy Sinatra sing with him instead. Now that would be great.

i believe it's Rupert Murdoch's core requirement for his journalists. at most, a 7th grade intelligence and personality - go above that and you're useless.

i don't think i can ever forgive the Aussies for that one :p
