MJJC Exclusive Q&A with Taj Jackson - Read Taj's answers

Some great responses here. I hope Taj reads this thread, and learns it's futile to pull wool over our eyes.

Thank you for the Interview Ivy & Taj

Still I'm a bit disappointed in some of the comments in this thread.

I think Taj provided a lot of useful information and answered to the best of his ability. Thanks for the interview!

The problem with providing too much information (to satisfy our curiosity or thirst for more MJ knowledge) is that people would still be upset with the person for breaking trust and disrespecting MJ's privacy. It's kind of a no win situation. Either someone is cautious and careful not to say too much, and then they are being too vague, or someone says too much and people are upset with them for that as well.

I think sharing certain stories is alright because it seems to me (though I could be wrong) that Michael just wanted some parts of his life to be kept sacred, too precious to put in a spotlight, not cheapened by having it all out there like a talk show guest, but protected and kept only for those he knew and loved, but he didn't have anything to hide either. (hmm that didn't make sense... ) Just that he probably didn't want those precious things made fun of by media bullies and didn't need to give them anything they could use as fuel to their hateful stories, but if a little tidbit of a story was shared with people who love and care for him, it would probably be alright (maybe). Then again, maybe he wanted to keep parts of his life entirely private, not even shared with fans and admirers. Well it's like anyone. We are selective with who we share with and what we share with them. We may want to be open about some things with one person, and keep some things to ourselves, and to someone else, another set of things or side of ourselves entirely. Then there are those special ones in our lives who we want to know every part of and want to share every part of ourselves with and the more they know, the better. As much as we would like, fans probably weren't that to him. There are still things that he probably wouldn't want shared with even his fan world. Nothing salacious (probably) but just not anyone's business.

Don't know if what I'm saying is making sense.

I didn't really see that he was asked any invasive questions about Michael, at all! Most of the questions had to do with PPB's welfare, the Tribute concert, and other family matters. The concern of many here is, that he was asked very specific questions, i.e. about Paris' tweets and supervision, and other things, and he was following the family mythology, that "all is well here." So in that sense, personally, I felt that his answers were generic and vague, and most evaded the questions. I think that as a part of that family, he may have felt that he didn't have a choice in that? That would certainly follow the family pattern. I thought that maybe he would rise more to the occasion. Guess not?

Sorry I was speaking more in general about anyone who mentions MJ. My observations about how it seems there is rarely any pleasing people when it comes to MJ. Either they share too much or too little.

With regards to Paris, I know how little influence I have in the raising of my nieces and nephews, and even less in the raising of my cousins. Maybe he just doesn't have much to say because it is his grandmother raising them. Could you speak out against your grandmother publicly if you didn't agree with something she was doing?

Yup. Personally, I think it is far better to "share too little!" I do agree, Michael deserves his privacy as much now, or more, as when he tried to guard his privacy, in life. The family is a different matter. There IS some concern for the well-being of Michael's children, given the Howard Mann contract, the affiliation with the HTW Foundation (so-called), Paris' highly public presence on Twitter, and all the rest of it. So in that sense, it was a disappointment that Taj didn't address those specific questions, with specific answers. And, we move on. . . . .

Sure Grandma Kate has the higher say but, Taj said he and his brothers put their careers on hold to help with MJ Kids & just for that he should have some say too, don't u think? Taj bein around and helpin should know what is goin on. Which is the reason certain questions were ask to him.

Taj's answers were spot on and very well handled. I felt someof the questions were a bit presumptuous and rude in nature - especially coming from the fanbase. But hey, each to their own.

Exactly.........

Judging by some of his answers, it seems like he hasn't spent much time with MJ3.........

I thought asking him about MJ3 on twitter was the right thing to do.......Jacksons need to understand that MJ3 are getting bullied on the internet!!!!

Agree. also agree with Ape in the no-win situation. Say too little, people are upset, say too much, people are upset for yapping too much about private stuff. Also, I did find some questions rude, sometimes fans behave as if they had more 'right' to Michael and knew more about him than his family. That is not the right path to take, if you ask me.

all in all, THANK YOU TAJ  and thank you Ivy

taj and his brothers put their career on hold to help with ppb? lol nice joke the last time they had a career was when p and p were born

To be fair Taj was wokring on his movie. He put a lot of work into it.
We dont really know what endeavors they are invoved in. They did support the
children by being with them on public appearnces when they were supporting
their Dad . But I do get the point they didnt seem to have much to put aside.

Thank you Ivy and to Taj for taking the time to answer questions, appreciate the time and effort from both.

This! And it's not leeway for fans to make snide comments about 3T's career. Sure, they weren't on the same fame level as Michael or Janet in the 90s but they had a decent fan base and a good amount of talent. I don't understand the need for insults towards three lovely boys who Michael treasured dearly as part of his family.

Taryll has his new single released.
What about next T MJJC Q&A?

Thank you for this interview, I think people should read this again after the current events.
