People on here are gonna be living in fear from now on, so why not remove the 2000 Watts section altogether? It would be finally secure. It seems like we're being closely monitored by certain corporations that brought much damage to Michael Jackson and this is horrible.

I do agree with you Alma. I do understand that Gaz has to do something against the piracy, because apperently, we are being watched. He has no choice really, so that's fine with me. The punishment, gezz those are too extreme measures in my opinion though.

I don't agree with your suggestion to close 2000 Watts though . It's a nice place. Untill now, Sony hasn't made a problem of sharing video material that has been broadcasted free to air. I actually think they don't have the right to do something about that. They gave permission for stuff to be broadcasted. TV broadcasting companies every now and than broadcast that material over and over again. They are allowed to, and we are allowed to record that stuff. Sharing that shouldn't be a problem. So the 2000 Watts section is a sort of MJ TV broadcast archive, which is great! And than, if Sony wants acces to the 2000 watts section, Gaz makes sure they donate.. So that's all good :lol:

Sony really is ignorant, right?! It's really rediculous that they hit on us, the fan community. If genuine MJ tracks leak, we're excited. When Sony releases crap, we buy it any way. So what's the problem. If they are going to release songs like Blue Gansta we will get the physical album. It is not the Fan community with who they have to start a fight. If they really want to solve the piracy problem, which for obvious reasons is impossible, but hey they can try, go after the downloads of the official catalog. The MJ market consists partly of fans and then there the people who just enjoy his music. It's not the fans they should worry about. We are like sheep lol. We buy the stuff anyway, And we are stupid enough to even promote it. So Sony should be friendly to us! They should worry about the piracy that happens on the pirate bay, torrents, spotnet, etc.. If they should worry about anything really.

@Sony, since you're reading with us (yeah right): Please, put some effort in your releases! Use us fans to decide what to release, what not and in what way. The standard should be MJ worthy. The quality he would have wanted. Your video releases are of rediculous quality. and don't let us start about 'Michael'. If you wanna do something, do it right for once in your life! Have I ever said I want them for free? They can keep their Cascio songs for themselves, I don't want them. I just want them to respect the man which in my opinion is not the case.
I personally don't need more and more songs. I can rather do it without instead of seeing the songs released with the "profit over artistry" mentality. He gave us so much, SO MUCH, while he was still alive. That's his legacy and it's indestructible. It hurts me to see people overproducing and processing his work that he left us. Michael without Michael is not Michael.

Like it or not MICHAEL JACKSON is a product owned by SONY. The fan sites and forums therefore are using SONYS product. They allow use the use of their product as long as there is no illegal activity. It is just the same as any other business.

Because to them WE ARE CRIMINALS. Piracy is a crime, so therefore those who particpate in Sharing Stolen Copyrighted Material are CRIMINALS. They dont care about us being fans, all they see us people STEALING THEIR PRODUCT. Its business, they dont have ANY emotional attachment. They are not fans. This is what happens in the world outside the fan bubble. Do something ILLEGAL, get caught, face the consequences. Every single album from OFF THE WALL, to Invincible, THRILLER 25, THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION, and even MICHAEL. Michael had issues with TOMMY MOTOLLA and his team around 2000 to 2002. Motolla was fired and a brand new team took over SONY. Michael didnt have issues with SONY, he had issues with those who WORKED for SONY.

A Life ban for something this minor (yes, it is minor, and I don't care what the rules are, nor what Sony think, nor what anyone else does) is like a life sentence in jail for a minor crime. For nothing, which is. How can one possibly even do something this sinister with almost NO real warning beforehand?

Sony is full of crap, and they know that their ego got stepped on real bad, which is why they are now bravely putting on this show of 'lawful actions' against Michael's fans. And lol-ing at 'Michael is not here to protect us anymore.' Huh?..o.0 Protect us from what? From ourselves? From Sony?... He was being controlled by Sony himself, with all the re-re-releases they had him agree on, because he refused to give them the goodies he had on his MiJac cat. And if anyone is going to say 'Well, if you don't like the rues, you're free to leave', I'll say I don't care about leaving, because I love what's left of this wonderful place. But when the heat is on and people are getting 'nasty' toward Sony, that's when they're really starting to abide by the law. i found the actions also harsh and injustice because most of us go to 2000 watt and enjoy the concerts etc. i believe its ok to not share leaked songs that i understand.. but alot of us did listen to them and we did not know we couldnt and now some of us are banned over night...
