Murray Trial - 6 October - Day 8 - Discussion

is ND on the form not detected?

I believe so. Walgren asked him if there is no number in the levels column what it meant and he answered that it means nothing was found. ND seems to be in places where there's no result.

I know a few of us looking at the AR was wondering about that. We now have our answer. The test WAS conducted, however, no # means nothing was found; not detected.

Michael said he wanted to go to the hospital the night before he died. He tols Murray and he shrug it off. :(

Actually, we don't know that. We only have Frank's word and that story had problems and I don't think Frank himself ever confirm he told this story. We simply don't know if Michael ever wanted to go to the hospital, especially since he didn't go when Lee supposedly advised him on the 21 or 22.

do u remember though on the form that there was a - and we wondered what that ment. ie not tested at all or not detected. did the wintess mention that at all?. cause that is an important issue

wasnt that story supp to have come from marlon and he denied it

The science bits are always a chore unless someone is a science/medical/CSI buff. This is the kind of stuff that puts ppl to sleep, but since it's MJ maybe they'll try harder to follow along. Can't recall whether any of the jurors had a scientific background or not.

Well, time for me to have lunch, too....and get more work done. :fear:

Can someone please write about fingerprints. I didn't hear everything because he was reading so fast and my stream stopped. I would like to know about fingerprints on propofol bottles (both 100 mL that was in the bag and 20 mL that was under the nightstand), cut open saline bag, full saline bag, syringe on the IV stand and syringe on the nightstand.

Thanks.

On a personal note, I really like this witness. Although, this has to do with the fact that I love medical science and I found how a tox is done educational.

That's exactly me. It may also have to do with the fact that I have a degree in Biology (not much, just a double major). But I find what he's describing fascinating. I believe the ELISA test also used to detect the HIV virus, amongst others. Not that Michael needed that. Not what I'm saying at all.

I think the jury is pretty riveted. Just a feeling I have. A lot of them are MJ fans from what I've read and I think they want to get to the heart of it. Our problem is that the Europeans are tired and want to go to bed and we're not there, but in our homes or at work, so we're slightly removed. So when the "dry" stuff comes up, a lot of us want to just nod off. I hope the jurors give their neighbor an elbow in the ribs if one of them start to follow our suit

It was a story that came out little after Michael died, I think the same day. Supposedly, Frank called Marlon about what happened and Frank said Michael wasn't feeling well that night and sent for the doctor. So, this story isn't correct and I've forgotten how Frank answered that question.

Given Michael's history, I doubt he would had gone to the hospital. Michael strikes me as the kind of person who only goes near the ER if they're seriously hurt or mortally ill. This is the same person who all but worked himself to death back in 95 and was minutes from death. The same during 05 when Randy had to force him to the hospital after he threw up in the car.

I honestly believe that only someone like Murray, if he did his damn job, could had gotten Michael help since I think he was too prideful with his big comeback to risk the bad PR of going to the hospital.

i think the stroy was mj called marlon saying he wasnt well and wanted to go to the hos but when someone asked marlon when he last spoke to mj it was at that family do or earlier. something like that

We are differently on the same page on this one. The main heart of this case isn't the house, but what was going on in Michael's body. This witness, along with the corona who did the autopsy, are the stars of this case. Regardless of what almost anyone said before them, they could make or break this case.

I hope the fact that corona didn't get the hair sample until July 6 won't effect the results. Those long-term drug results will be the key to putting the nail in the coffin of the defense's theory of Michael taking large amount of other drugs before his death.

now about the broken syringe that wasnt. she says i should have said it was two seperate pieces. talking about her prelim testimony. she said syringe was on the nightstand without a needle. and there was a needle on the floor. now he says today you say its a catheter. she says a catherter has a needle in it.. (the bottom line the needle either fits in the syringe or it doesnt. if it doesnt fit its irrelevent as the 2 arent connected)

I think that I read somewhere that she was referring to the syringe as being broken because it didn't have the needle on, not because it was actually broken.

On an unrelated note, I'm blasting Another Part Of Me in my speakers and it's night here, lol. I'm tired of this crap. This is how everyone will remember him, people. Energetic and vibrant, sweet gentle soul, talented beyond definition... Michael effing Jackson.

I cant believe the coroners investigator could be that incompetent especially a case that's high profile.I couldnt wait for her to leave the witness box .Her careless attitude made the defence score some points.

The took a hair sample on july 6th?. i thought it was august

I knew it was before he was buried, but I just said July because it was before the memorial, so I screwed the date. Sorry for the misinformation.

Although, I'm still not sure why they didn't take it to begin with. Maybe they thought it was unneeded until they heard Murray's lawyers talk about long-term addiction and doctor shopping. It would make sense since a person's long-term drug history isn't as important as what was in their body when they died.

- 100ml propofol vial (inside IV bag): Murray's index fingerprint detected.

- syringe "separated" (without a needle) on metal table: Coroner investigator, Elissa Fleak, thumb fingerprint detected. (accidentally at taking photos, she admitted she might have taken off her gloves and at moving table to photograph another 20ml propofol vial under the metal table).

- Rest of items (midazolam vials (unopened I think), saline bag, etc: unknown fingerprints NOT belonging to Murray, Michael, the bodyguards, the chef, the detectives, the investigators...

Both parts agree on an stipulation (67) to disregard these last fingerprints.

---------

What will now say "the father of propofol" to support defense theory of the "self-administration"??

Hell naah I ain't tired! It's MJ so I'll stay up all night if I have too ;)

Thanks for writing the finger print list. i tried to do it as walgren spoke but it got abit confusing. missed the bit about his print being on the diprivan bottle in the IV bag. thats major imo.

If Alvarez took the vial with propofol why they didn't find his fingerprints on it?
