I wonder what her ties are with flanazepam and chernoff. how do they happen to know a doctoral student in bio med engineering? And why on earth would she get herself involved. Are they paying her? I would hope so. Students always need money :)
 
I guess now we just wait and see. Disappointed that Murray will not take the stand, it would have been a worse experience for him than doing time!

I hope the prosecution call rebuttal witnesses. Walgren did a great job. But there are still things that need to be cleared up about this case, in my opinion.

If he doesn't recall shafer and get some alternative explanation about the lidocaine I think this will not be good.

They won't have given up. Walgren will re-call him if he thinks it will help their case. And vice versa. Personally I hope he does! But who am i to argue with Walgren...
 
Walgren please there is nothing to think about, don't blow it now. Just don't, you were going on for 4 plus weeks, now don't rush into closing, that would be a huge mistake. David use common sense and have patience, impatience now is going to cost the entire case.
 
They haven't given up on Michael. I think things look fairly poor for the defense. I hope they call Shafer nonetheless, though.
 
Wow...that was fast. So they aren't calling Gabriella and have rested. Walgren should definitely call Shafer for rebuttal. White has brought out some issues with Shafer's models. Even if it's for a few questions to tie up those discrepancies. If he passed on recross of White in hopes to getting to Gabriella then he should def. call Shafer. Defense pulled a fast one.
 
Maybe the issue is if Shafer can testify now, or needs more time , what White said about lidocaine was maybe unexpected
 
I really hope they will recall Shafer, hopefully the 30 minutes are not really to make the decision but to prepare for it.

yeah thats more logical. obviously he needs to time to prepare the xtra bits from his redirect
