Funny thing is I bought two books from Amazon UK on December 8th and, tired of my stuff getting delayed even when I paid extra money to get them sooner, I just asked for those to be sent by regular post, no extra taxes, no delay, no FedEx, no tracking number, just simple, regular, snail mail. As I arrived to my office this morning, they were on my desk happy and fresh.

So... I wonder... do my newly arrived books know a way to Chile my Opus doesn't know? What about that terrible weather blocking the whole world? Is my Opus on the hands of some pirate from Somalia or something??

Maybe time got frozen for FedEx... you know.. weather has been a mess lately. That's what Opus says, so I believe them.... Let's just wait for their next "update"

PCR, your posts are the only thing that makes me smile in this thread. everything else just makes me depressed. My Opus is somewhere out there feeling lost and abandoned.

This is sad... I hope you find the courage to open it and, must of all, to fully enjoy it. I know there are many issues around this book (Geezzz, sure I know!), but still, we must try to see this a gift from Michael. No doubt, Michael would have changed this and that, here and there, but still, he wanted us to have an Opus about him. And here it is. Enjoy it and treasure it. Please do! :hug:

Received the ENORMOUS Opus today :wild: So far I'm loving it! Today I only flicked through the pages, enjoying all the beautiful pictures and artwork. :wub: Couldn't bring myself to read it yet. For that I'll need some private time and a lot of tissues..

Same here. I spent about half an hour doing just that as well. :reading: I had to stand to do that as I'd placed the book on our dinner table and couldn't sit down due to its size. I didn't want to be a yo-yo going up and down. :D I used a pair of cotton gloves that I already have. We managed to find a place for the Opus on our bookshelf for now. I'd love to be able to show it off properly! :wub: Then again, I wouldn't dare let anyone go near it without shoving a pair of gloves at their face... Haha!

Heh, I used a sequined glove on the other hand :D You really do need two gloves to be able to browse it properly. And I won't let anyone go near the book without a pair of gloves either. In fact, I won't let anyone go near the book, full stop. :lol: Naah, just kidding. But drinks or food is a big NoNo anywhere near the book :nono:

I bet its the same Hub as the one before, just in a different department. This is so stupid, Europe are receiving them after UK, but not Ireland? I will NEVER pre-order anything like this again.
 
anybody here from Asia who got their Opus already? I'm from the Philippines... no tracking number, no Opus. I ordered mine in August. :(

I just saw some people from Hong Kong and one from China who got their Opus last week. But no other friend has given any information. :hug: you are not alone, we are all here waiting for Opus to use their British manners and send us at least an email to say "Stop bothering us with your request, My Lady".... but nothing :( And you know I truly love the English manners... but some way along the way, they forgot about being polite to fans living in "the rest of the world".

I just don't understand this. Get me some tea, darling!

How the heck are you gonna "download" the trigger CARD? I know the one they showed on the Today show was a big screen kind of thing, which couldn't possibly be downloaded. It looked to be about 10 inches across and maybe 6 inches high.

And besides telling jokes... what else can we do?

Glad that you can keep positive about it...

I think I could probably repack mine, lug it over to the local post office or local steam vessel and get it to you faster than this... this is ridiculous... I hope you get it soon!

And funny thing friends here in Chile, at my MJ fans club page, have been asking so much about it. I just can say... now... you know, we are just waiting.

I just hope I like the Opus when I finally get it. So far I feel like Opus sick -->

I got a call from FedEx and STILL no OPUS -_- I dunno if they F'd it up or bcoz' they don't deliver during holidays ... -_-

btw, I'm from the Philippines. I ordered mine August, got the call yesterday ... people living in Manila should get their copied before mine, I forwarded mine in my province so I'm expecting it to arrive around 2-3days late.

I think by the UK they actually mean England only haha, im still waiting too and im glasgow

Just received my Opus a few minutes ago in Austria! :D

The delivery guy wasn't kidding when he said it was heavy. Just seeing the size of the case is overwhelming. Everything about Michael is so magnificent and otherworldly.

I really hope everyone receives their copy soon. Keep the faith!

hey guys

for anyone in the uk

just off the phone to Ticketmaster... apprently some are still in America !

i questioned them because they were coming from China, but they said they are made their, sent to a main depot in the US for distribution.

Apparently i will recieve a call from the opus in the U.S within 24 hours.... hmmm

i give up... its the ticket fiasco all over again

:hug: It took me 12 hours after the delivery to be ready to unpack the Opus. I just quickly browsed some of the pages and when I saw one amazing photo from the HIStory Tour I had to put the book away. I couldn't bare to view it any further :no:
