I don't take whatever they say personally. Their word is just another fish in the sea. I only take their word more seriously considering some of them were there. But some of them have been saying ridiculous things for how long now? So I'm never surprised when some of them open their mouths.

Blood is thicker than water. No family is perfect.

They MAY have thrown him under the bus, but last time I checked they were ALL there to support Mike through the allegations. Selective amnesia much?

thats because he was still here to pay their bills...he is gone now and none of them except Katherine and the children was left anything in his will...so now its time for them to shove the knife in him deeper.....I am sorry nothing you or anyone else can say anything that will make me change my mind about the one's running their mouths ..calling Michael an addict..talking about interventions....thats all bullshit.....so sorry....I have no love for them..they make people not like them
 
I didn't appreciate the whole 'when or if something happens to katherine, then diana ross takes them' and someone on the show said out loud "Does Diana Ross know this?" Its ridiculous. Whys this a big deal? Its not like they are going to Charlie Manson for crying out loud.

Nobody is disputing that Michael is a Jackson (would be ridiculous to do so). But there is also no denying that some members of his family have betrayed that biological link in the most regrettable ways and for the most despicable of reasons.

Being a family member does not excuse their behaviour.

Yes, this is a Michael Jackson forum and for us it is all about Michael. And yes for the family members there is more to their lives than Michael. But the Jackson family will always be known in relation to their connection to Michael. It is fact. The headlines bear this out time and time again.

So when you open your mouth you know that the media hears: 'blah, blah, blah and Michael was a druggie who we tried to help but was in denial. But on to more interesting things. I am planning to blah, blah, blah, blah.' The headlines bear this out too.

Michael kept his beef with his family private and they should do the same. This passive-aggressive sh*t is getting tired too!

I really doubt it has anything to do with bills. You have to remove the "celebrity" factor from the family. They are still human. They are still a family. They all love each other regardless of what has been said, done, etc. That's just the way siblings are. I'm sure everyone can share a story or two about that. There comes a time when family comes together regardless of the circumstances. Just like the whole situation with LaToya. If Michael could forgive his family members for their ridiculousness, why can't the fans?

The bold part, I believe is a slap into their faces, that after all this time that's the only thing they are 'really' known for. It's always
X/Y/Z Jackson the brother/sister of MICHAEL Jackson, and never vice versa. It's never Michael the brother of ''so and so''. This must hurt them and their 'fans'. I mean let's face it they were born to live under his shadow while he was alive, and now that he's gone nothing's changed everything's still about him. I mean they lurk these ppl to their shows etc, knowing full well of desperate they are to get mug out, and once they are there it's still about Michael, how did he die, was he an addict, how are his kids, what do his kids think,''
And that's how it's gonna remain forever for these ppl, nothing will change. Right after the stun gun incident Jermaine had pimped his sons out and appeared on AH (I think), and one of the first questions Jermaine's son's were asked ''What does Prince think about blah blah'' ''How are Michael's children doing blah blah''. I mean come one, 30 plus years of 'showbiz' and the spotlight's always been on Michael and Michael only. Now that he's gone it has shifted from Michael to Michael's kids, but it's still Michael ppl are interested in. It's never been these ppl. Never.

And you know what? There may well have been interventions because some family members were worried that Michael had a problem. And Michael denied having a problem. And that may well be because he did not have a problem.

Back in 1993 when he made a public statement about his addiction to painkillers, he took responsibility (publicly and privately). Am I to believe that years later, with 3 children whom he loved and whom he knew depended on him, Michael would refuse to acknowledge he had a problem, despite being confronted several times?
 
I think they will always be asked about Michael. I just think with trial and everything that they would want to watch what they say. Murray and his team are going to make Michael look bad to save his butt. His family going on tv saying he had problems and they tried helping him goes along with what they will say. His autopsy says otherwise to what his family and Murray seems to say. Everybody ignores his autopsy. Why? Michael's death was ruled a homocide not accidental drug overdose etc.

I don't get why they go on shows of people who have hurt their brother during those difficult times. Barbara doesn't love Michael and Joy sure doesn't. Saying that is ridiculous and insulting.

it's not just the bills part but also u know, Michael was still here, they may have had the touring in the back of their minds from the beginning, u know ''if we support him now and he comes outta this mess, it will be easier for us to persuade him to tour with us/record an album with us/appear on d grade reality show with us'' and so on. There were a lot of reasons to be on ''good terms'' with him for them then, but now he is dead, he isn't useful to anyone he died and left them nothing, heck, he purposely omitted them from his will. go figure.

One of Tito's first comments after the O2 dates sold out in March 2009 was, that he'd like Michael to incorporate them into his shows, I mean wth? Joseph showing up in his pimp suit with his ex con pal's in order to make Michael sign that goddam AGE deal. Katherine, Joe Michael Randy Phillips having a meeting due to the AGE nonsense, Joseph was pulling.. I mean all this is pure greed. They couldn't let the man be. Michael's family always seemed to have the ''I want exactly what you have/I want to be a part of your world/I want to be you'' kind of attitude toward MJ, up until he died and even now they still haven't let go of that attitude.

He left everything pretty much to his children. Whatever Katherine gets goes back to the children after she passes. A lot of people leave their assets to their kids. I don't think it's odd. Elizabeth Edwards apparently left everything to her kids. Michael didn't have to leave anything to anyone. His responsibility were to his children.

I will agree with you..we all have sibling things that we have forgiven....and yes families DO come together in times of need ...BUT THIS IS MICHAEL'S TIME OF NEED.....and they are throwing him to the wolves......Michael didn't kill himself with a drug overdose...Michael was killed by Conrad Murray. See the difference. It will be impossible for me to EVER forgive this family for what it is they are doing to Michael this time....he is not here to deny there accusations..and they know this....hell..they dont even seem to care if his kids minds get destroyed because of them in the process. And that..is just really sad. All because they dont know what the hell it is they are talking about. These people are not even smart enough to educate themselves as to what it is the autopsy says....maybe they should hire someone to read it to them....maybe the words are to big..I dont know what their excuse is....all I know is that they have done Michael wrong once again.

Excellent post!! Michael was killed at the hands of another.. The autopsy says it, the charge says it, hell even DA Walgren said that MJ is not here today because of the reckless acts of Murray, yet MJ's own family can't even defend MJ. It's ridiculous. The damn DA sounds more passionate about Murray killing Michael than Mike's own family.

I agree. Even if you don't understand everything in autopsy the word homocide is something that everyone can understand. I worry that Murray will walk and then what?

Okay did I get the wrong information about this interview a fan summarized and said Rebbie did say that Murray killed Michael and that is the issue that he was killed not about his drug problem which I dontt believe anyeway. This fan said the three suspects tried to do the interventions Randy Janet and zrebbie.

That was something that was mentioned in the Conspiracy book I finally got to read. I liked how the relationship of Michael and the fans was shown to be important in the book.

really???....who wrote that book? Michael always told us how much he loved us....I think he felt our love for him too. when he was announcing the concerts..he said I love you ..you have to believe that..I really do. I felt his love. He and his fans had that special connection.

The book by Aphrodite Jones. She got the connection and it was nice to read that at different parts of the book. Most of the book is sad just reading what Michael had to go through. Now we have to go through another trial without Michael. His family should be united for him like they did in 2005.

I am sorry but they make Michael look weak in these interviews.
 
I watched it. She handled it better than I expected, although she fell for Barbara and Elizabeth's trap about the interventions but I like that she pretty much said regardless of anything that may have happened in the past, Murray the one who killed Michael

oh yes I have heard of that book..I haven't read it though...maybe I will. I agree his family SHOULD be united for him..but I think it is a hopeless deal with them. Even if they didn't mean it..they should atleast do it for the kids

SMH I didn't even tune in to the view I do not watch that show and many others! I saw the video on Youtube! Many of us pay attention to what any of the family says because it directly affects MJ when they say the things they say!

Especially when theirs a doctor in trial for the death of MJ and all his family want t do is call him a addict that they tried to help! Instead of reading the autopsy report that says other wise!

Again, I ask how is it that MJ was to sick for "This is it" tour but, was just fine for the family to do a reunion tour with them all?

Oh the HYPOCRISY! SMH
