Hey Enrico! Thanks for the info. :) Glad to be back online!

Re: September 19 - 21 (Will Michael go to Janet's Concert ?;Update on #23)

Well, the only way we would know if MJ came if either someone was there and posted it on one of the Janet message boards, the blogs, or these Las Vegas based websites, excluding Norm.

Mystery of the 'albino androids'

First there were the "Faceless People", now it seems celebrity life has been invaded by the "Albino Androids".

albino-android-460_981266c.jpg

The mystery men have been spotted at a string of events on the arms of some of the world's most beautiful ladies.

Impeccably dressed in black suits, black suits and black tie with white shirt, the men's heads are covered by a white mask.

The robotic-like masks are expressionless, with white eyes, a piercing stare, and white hair.

The androids were first spotted at the Venice Film Festival last month, when one of the mystery men caused a stir attending the premier of the new Coen brothers film Burn After Reading, starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

He accompanied Italian model and actress Laura Esposito, with the bemused crowd asking who the stranger was.

Earlier this month, the mystery man turned up to the Belgian Grand Prix with Miss Belgium Alizee Poulicek.

The pair were shown round the paddock and pit lane by one of the engineers, before posing for photos with Red Bull drivers Marc Webber and David Coulthard, at the after party.

Then earlier this week, he was at it again, this time attending the Vivienne Westwood Spring/Summer 2009 collection catwalk during London Fashion Week with actress Pamela Anderson on his arm.

The appearance of the mystery character is similar to the masked "Faceless people" who turned up at a number of events over the summer, including Wimbledon, the Henley regatta, and Elton John's white tie and tiara ball.

They were revealed to be a part of a publicity stunt for car manufacturers The Lotus Group, who were drumming up interest for its forthcoming new car, the Eagle.

Re: September 19 - 21 News and Mentionings

Mmmmmmmmmmmm it would be awesome and out of this world if Michael came out and did something major on the 50th anniversary of Motown. I am just dreaming I guess.

Yes, I know! It would be so great. Maybe it could send him in to the "stratosphere", as they say it, again!

But......considering he didn't want to do it the first time, I doubt he would do it a second time. It would probably take more than Barry Gordy this time to get him into it also.

And hey, you're not the only one dreaming! I'm with you!

Re: September 19 - 21 (Did Michael go to Janet's Concert ?;Update on #23)

Thanks to all for the news. :flowers:

Gotta say the android thing is just brilliant. Whether Pam showing up with one was Michael's idea or not, it's definitely fueling the rumors (intentionally or not)

The Motown 50 info looks exciting. Should be interesting.

Re: September 19 - 21 (Did Michael go to Janet's Concert ?;Update on #23)

how radtastic would it be for mj to introduce a brand spakin' ass new dance move for the 50th just like he did for the 25th?

hell, if he won't perform, would he even show up? i mean, upstaging the moonwalk has to be huge pressure.

Re: September 19 - 21 (Will Michael go to Janet's Concert ?;Update on #23)

Re: September 19 - 21 (Did Michael go to Janet's Concert ?;Update on #23)

Thanks so much for the news and mentionings.:cheeky:
When I was scrolling down the 411 music top five and I saw Thriller at No 3, I thought NOOOOO!!! he should be No1, but then I scrolled further down and saw Billie Jean at No2 and I thought 'Yeah that so good, 2 in the top 5. Then I saw Beat It at No. 1 and I had to cry out HE HE!!! The top 3 are all Michael's :clapping::clapping:

I must say the Lotus group publicity people where on the ball, after the rumors of Pam Anderson dating Michael It was good thinking getting Pam to take the masked man to the fashion show cuz the media where obviously gonna jump to the conclusion that it could be Michael and the result is a humongus amount of extra publicity and as the truth would eventually be 'leaked out' everyone would know who the promoters where. Crafty ehh.

I agree Soso Def, It would be totally awesome if Michael busted out a new move for Motown 50, but Im afraid Im not holding my breath. I have faith though.....when Michael is ready then Im there %100

Re: September 19 - 21 News and Mentionings

Holy sh*t balls batman, NO IT'S NOT! Damn it!

That's what I was thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's WRONG with people????!!!

HAVE THEY NO EARS???????????????? :boohoo

oh yeah, thanks for the news

ANOTHER MOTOWN LEGEND HAS PASSED:

Publicist-author Bob Jones reportedly dies of heart attack.

(September 19, 2008)

*On the heels of the death Tuesday of famed Motown producer Norman Whitfield, another Motown legend has passed.

EUR has just learned that Bob Jones, who, for years ran the label's PR department died today of a heart attack. According to publicist Ken Reynolds

As of this posting, official details are not available. However EUR was told by a source that Jones died in his garage after coming back from riding his bike.

Jones later left Motown in 1987 to work with Michael Jackson at MJJ Productions. The association went sour and he was terminated in 2004, according to Wikipedia.

In 2005, Jones, along with Stacy Brown published the very unflattering look at Jackson called "The Man Behind the Mask." It was promoted as a true insider's account because Jones spent a total of 34 years with the superstar.

EUR will have more as details become available.

Re: September 19 - 21 (Did Michael go to Janet's Concert ?;Update on #23)

Bob Jones died huh? These people are dropping like flies. Kinda scary. I don't really believe in karma, but this is aweful strange.

Re: September 19 - 21 (Did Michael go to Janet's Concert ?;Update on #23)

no such thing, mate. people "drops like flies" everyday, 'good' or 'bad'. random workings of this naturally chaotic universe.

Re: September 19 - 21 (Did Michael go to Janet's Concert ?;Update on #23)

Well I did say I don't believe in karma, didn't I? Just said it was weird, cause... well, it is, lol. Bob Jones was a back stabbing dickhead anyway.

Re: September 19 - 21 (Did Michael go to Janet's Concert ?;Update on #23)

well yeah you did, but there's absolutely nothing strange about it lol.

Re: September 19 - 21 (Did Michael go to Janet's Concert ?;Update on #23)

Well if you're gonna pull teeth, lol. I guess I should have said it "seems" strange.

What's IS strange is that we're the only ones who've noticed this on this board! Bob Jones was around Michael for a long time and then he turned in to the very thing he claimed he was trying to protect Michael from.

Re: September 19 - 21 (Did Michael go to Janet's Concert ?;Update on #23)

EWW. Don't remind me. I hate going to the dentist. Especially since the second to last time I was there, the novocain WASN'T working.

Re: September 19 - 21 (Did Michael go to Janet's Concert ?;Update on #23)

As singing voices go, his is about as close to Michael Jackson’s as today’s pop atmosphere allows,
Key phrase being, "As today's atmosphere allows"

He wish. LOL!
Ne-yo's nasally vocals don't come no where near MJ's voice.
Thats a huge compliment to Ne-yo tho. Lol.

ANOTHER MOTOWN LEGEND HAS PASSED:
Publicist-author Bob Jones reportedly dies of heart attack.
(September 19, 2008)
Really now? (I dont see an appropriate smiley so....)
Was he a legend because MJ was one of the stars that he work for?

Thanks for the news you guys and I'm glad I can access the forum again.

Rest in peace Norman Whitfield.

Re: September 19 - 21 News and Mentionings

edit
As singing voices go, his is about as close to Michael Jackson’s as today’s pop atmosphere allows, and he’s the go-to songwriter for R&B artists who want a hit
It's like saying Rihanna is as close as Whitney houston as singing voices go.

Sry to hear about Norman Whitfield. He wrote a lot of the Temps joints...

As for the other one, no comment.

I'm sure that he had family who loved him...

I don't think Michael will do Motown 50th... for some many reasons...

Sorry for being late in bringing the news and mentionings. I will update this thread with the mentionings for today.

In addition, the hotels involved in these expenditures are all upscale facilities. The Raffles Hotel in Singapore, for example, is an historic, popular destination for dignitaries and famous people. Among its notable past guests were pop star Michael Jackson, actress Elizabeth Taylor, former President George H. Bush and Queen Sofia of Spain.

The choreograph for the show was provided by Chris Judd, who by the way is the ex-husband of Jennifer Lopez. The dance numbers were amazing. The show also features Sean Cooper, who does impressions of Michael Jackson, Sammy Davis, Jr. and even Tina Turner

The Arkansas marching band, playing a Halloweenthemed show, then displayed some nifty dance moves to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” drawing perhaps the loudest cheers heard Saturday.

This year’s lineup includes Chicago favorites such as country-rocker Robbie Fulks and rapper Rhymefest (each paying tribute to Michael Jackson as a belated birthday gift) as well as Canadian power pop outfit The New Pornographers and alt-country chanteuse Neko Case (who is also a part-time Pornos member).

AUBURN, Ala. -- LSU tailback Keiland Williams knew he had to sell the fake, so he decided to not go Michael Jackson and kept both gloves on.

The result was the first touchdown pass of his career - 22 yards to wide receiver Demetrius Byrd and just over the reach of Auburn defenders for a 17-14 lead on the last play of the third quarter in LSU's 26-21 win at Jordan-Hare Stadium Saturday night.

"If I would've taken one glove off, I could've gotten a little more air under it and would have been a better pass," Williams said. "But I couldn't take one glove off. That would've given it away."
Unless he was doing an imitation of the 1980s pop star, who often wore just one glove during concerts.
"I don't think that would've worked," Williams said. "I couldn't grip it right, and it was almost intercepted. But it wasn't, and the rest is history."

http://www.heraldonline.com/109/story/830930.html

At the show and on their free download "Fix Your Face" mixtape, AM and Barker impeccably meld disparate genres and performers. For example, they fuse Michael Jackson's pop and The White Stripes' blues-rock.

Michael Jackson HIStory:

1986 - Michael Jackson was featured on the cover of the "National Enquirer" magazine.

1994 - The District Attorney Offices in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara announed that they would not file child molestation charges against Michael Jackson.

2001 - The song "Cry," from the album "Invincible," was premiered on radio stations in the United States.

2001 - Michael Jackson's video for "You Rock My World" premiered in Europe.

I’m a complete romantic – it’s why I always get married. Someone should really stop me. Regardless of how I’m perceived, I’m sleeping by myself at the moment and there’s no one specific in my life, although there are about three or four non-specific men. Just kidding. The story going round is that I’m dating Michael Jackson. I think he’s brilliant. Think what you want – it’s more interesting that way.
