Makes me wonder what MJ would have done with it if he were still around.
I'm "thinking" that Michael would have said: Let's write a NEW song for Haiti.
lastly...Janet was not needed....it just look like she was just moving her lips for 2 seconds...what was that?
Yes the Janet part was kinda strange, maybe her part was bigger but then they decided to put MJ in it again? Who knows?the song was alright...the voices that stood out for me is Jennifer Hudson as always and Pink
not sure why Wycleff had that sound...

Though some of the singing is quite good, the editing lacked planning. It pans too fast, you can't see the choir very well and the images fail to convey a story.
Some of the voices don't flow too well together and crescendos build up at the wrong places as a result.
What was needed is to give the video a storyline, especially the Haiti footage.
They would have shown footage in immediate aftermath of quake
people's disperation and search for shelter
Camps forming up
Some relief efforts
And then that footage of people and kids singing along.
Panning between singers should have been smoother so that one can see the choir
Blending MJ and Janet should have been better done with fade in instead of instant appearance and then instantly changed to another shot
But it seemed to be a case of blending too much in too short a time. Shots, musicians, Haiti scenes - too much was used and ending should have been the choir with more time to be seen, not just one singer.
It's like if someone didn't have a solo part, you hardly saw their face. I had to pause in order to see who was who.
