What was the last film/dvd you watched?

Wanted, Pride and Prejudice, Bend It Like Beckham, Love Actually (didn't like this one it jumped around too much for me:mello:), and Jumanji

Hancock, A Christmas Story, Ice Age, The Secret of Roan Inish, and a few others :)

Witness.....I'm watching it right now, excellent movie :)

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (the animated one). Didn't think I would but I liked it.

^ Ah...I ended up liking that film much more than I anticipated. I was so concerned it would take too much license....but it had a plausible plot afterall.

Momma Mia (wasn't that thrilled with it).

I wasn't sure what to expect either because I'm used to the movies about the stories she wrote  :girl_sigh:  I thought it was pretty good for a biographical movie but sad when she lost her true love and never ended up getting married

^ She died in her mid-forties as well. She was such a talent. And she so enjoyed observing society and being amused by many aspects of it, and she loved to incorporate her observations into her novels. She wrote until the end, happily situated in a home in town with her mother and sister, Cassandra. She had her writing table set up by a window that overlooked the main street through town so she could view the goings on outside. I think she died content even if she never married. It wasn't meant to be for her and I think she accepted it, for she was an extremely practical person.

I just recently ordered a newer adaptation of Sense and Sensibilty from Netflix and I am looking forward to watching it. :)
