Re: Grammy Performers: Beyonce, Foo Fighters...and Michael Jackson(rumor)?
Basically. However, I think the right timing and proper preparation could reduce "some" of the criticism.... or at least tame it a bit? Call me overly-optimistic, but I think timing plays a huge part in whatever Michael does. There will always be those who will poo-poo everything he does regardless of how brilliant or flawless it is, but I think the appreciation for him is building back up again amongst the general public. People obviously miss him and his music. I see it all over youtube in places I'd never expect and I sometimes hear it and see it offline in surprising ways. So regardless of any criticism thrown at him, I truly feel if the timing is right, it won't make that much of a damaging dent. What else can be said about him at this point that hasn't been said already YET people still love him and anticipate his next move. I would guess the perfect timing would be when Michael is ready AND he gets a feeling that the public is ready for him. Of course, we (on these fanboards) are ALWAYS ready  BUT I think it'll come down to what HE feels is the right time, criticism and everything else be damned.
Whatever Michael does people will criticize!!!
