Let's talk about this amazing movie! (SPOILERS!)

Re: TWYMMF intro in TII

The intro was great.

Re: TWYMMF intro in TII

Actually they COULD make a LIVE CD !!

Re: IJCSLY- Ending

It was great. What he did with his hands at the same time as he said a word was sooo fantastisc.

I loved that bit as well.

I also thought it was really funny at the end when he was directing the girl he was singing with to point to the crowd... she looked so lost, as if to say "am I doing this right?" lol.

Re: Do yall like the ending?

the ending was way too powerfl for my liking, it made me cry

Re: IJCSLY- Ending

It was a glorious return to the roots of his music.

Re: IJCSLY- Ending

His voice was incredible on that part and what amazes me even more what that he wasn't even going 100% and he sounded just like he did during the BAD tour so just imagine what it would have sounded like if he had gone all out.

Re: IJCSLY- Ending

She did get lost. Michael had to tell her to get on with it. He is such a fantastic singer. I do not think anyone can copy him. His voice is just completely different. He had it all, singing, dancing, performing and acting all at once just for his FANS..aww! Thanks baby.

I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet but Mike totaly killed it with The Way You Make Me Feel dance

Re: IJCSLY- Ending

He then blames the dancers and others for making him go all out with his vocals! :D Oh man Mike!

Re: Do yall like the ending?

i thought the ending was too rushed. I mean it ended right after a very short MITM. They shouldve added ppls last words about michael. Perhaps an old clip or a flashback. A little more creativity. I would say the intro was far better than the ending.

Re: IJCSLY- Ending

I loved how in control and demanding Michael was. Perfectionist.

wow! this four year thing is turning into an argument here. It wouldn't bring back Michael, now, would it? Michael wants us to save the planet, when he said that the people in the cinema got the message, they clapped.

The other poster said Michael was going on a 4 year tour to spread the message (I didn't get from Mike's speech that a 4 year tour was going to take place), so I figured it was separate from the O2.

It had been said by many people that Mike had wanted to take This is It to other cities as well. Kenny was one person whose said it I think. I cant find a quote though.

He said something about MJ saying he wanted to take it to other cities after London.

I laughed at that because they didn't lol. He just couldn't help himself and like someone said it was okay to do one time lol.

I understand him trying to preserve his voice because they were just rehearsals but the way he sang that and Human Nature just beautiful.

GREAT FILM! Just saw it and Michael is actually doing some moonwalks but they are little ones. I just Loved the film from beginning till the end. But some songs are too short in my opinion. Jam and Human Nature were too short, but everyone should see the film.
And most importantly MJ still kicked ASS!! Some moves were new and innovative but also some weird ones but it's rehearsals right??? :)
My favorite pieces are Smooth Criminal and the ballads

Re: IJCSLY- Ending

He was great.

Su humble and sweet all the time.

This is why we rehearse!

He was a humanitarian and he really cared about the planet. Bless him.

Michael is so spontaneous there, you can see a TRUE GENIOUS in action, his passion his commitment for giving an amazing show to us, his fans.
It's really touching, incredible, I was amaized most of the song WERE LIVE, WOW , he's still having such a beautiful voice and the magic for dancing
Michael didn't do The Moonwalk, that shocked me in a negative way :(.

I'm so honored to have the fortune of loving, supporting, enjoying and respecting him for 20 years. This movie just increased my opinion about why MICHAEL IS THE GREATEST ARTIST AND HUMANITARIAN OF THE 20th CENTURY.

Eventhough I'm happier, I miss Michael even more!
 YOU MORE MICHAEL

same here, I want to undersign every word, except of doing not the moonwalk. Yes, I am of course waiting of it, but it doesn't really happen, he did it only in some extent, just the beginning of it. But "Billie Jean" was with Michael live amazing enough that I didn't miss it really. One doesn't forget it was a rehearsal, and he didn't everything at full speed.

Re: IJCSLY- Ending

this performance was probably my favourite of the whole movie. And i love watching his mannerisms and expressions, he is so theatrical and puts so much thought into each and every move.

His vocal delivery on this was one of his all time greatest vocal performances
yes 1000% yes!

Just got back home from watching "This Is It" and I'm itching to talk to people about it.

If you've seen it, what did you think?

The "Dome Project" videos they made were insanely cool. Especially liked the Smooth Criminal b&w movie thing.
I LOVED the Smooth Criminal video(s)! SO creative and entertaining!

Billie Jean was the personal highlight of the film for me.
Was that when the dancers were down in front of the stage watching MJ perform it alone and they were crackin' up?

And Earth Song literally gave me goosebumps.
That was one of the things in the film that made me cry.

Re: TWYMMF intro in TII

Unfortunately, it's not on any studio recordings, it's just familiar to you because he's used it at the 1988 Grammy Awards, and the MSG performances, and the harmonies are very like Streetwalker, and they were also used for the intro to Smooth Criminal during his solo tours.

ic thanks, suppose we will have it in the blu ray release then, just get the sound of that.

Did anyone else notice how happy he looked rehearsing TDCAU? He kept smiling as if to say "I've missed doing this..."

Yeah my mum commented on that. He did indeed seem especially happy performing then.

I loved to see him smile like at the end of they don't care about us. There were other times too in the performances he would just smile. He loved being back on stage.

He might have added some extra shows elsewhere, but I've never heard of anyone going on a tour for 4 years straight. That's not physically possible.
