was you fan of mj after his death or before his death?
 
Well I was a fan before he died ..since the age of 11 years old and I am now 38 years old ..so that is 27 years fan and I will be a fan till the day I die.....
 
Before his death....

I accidentally stumbled on a J5 album...and there was no turning back.. :D

before his death...since I was little...my mom was a fan, and then I really started becoming a HUGE, obsessed fan around 1995 when HIStory came out...
 
I've been a fan for many many years. I still find it a bit wierd that some people became a fan after his death somehow. I mean why so late?! But then again better late then never...
 
From when I first watched Moonwalker age 4/5... But then suddenly about three years ago my sister (Michael Jackson Moonwalk) started going hardcore Michael Jackson, buying every single album, book, poster watching all sorts of interviews 24/7 hours a day and thats when I started going a little hardcore too and driving to Central London in the middle of the night to wave at him at his hotel room. We even managed to get VIP seats and front row seats for TII on opening night, we were so excited. Everyone I spoke to was mega jealous unfortunately it wasn't to be :(

But you've gotta' give me credit for being a fan at all, what with being 16 years old. :D
 
Before. I've been a fan for about 5 years.
 
1970's - my sister took me to see the J5 at Wembley when I was 10 - I am now 47 so I've now served about 40 years! Eeek! I feel old!
 
Before his death since I was 5.And I will be a fan till the day I die.

Have you seen the interview of the J5 talking about that concert? It's insanely cute.. With Michael mistaking sleeping bags as packing bags... :lol:
 
I've been a fan since I was 11.for over 15 years now
but I wonder mjjcommunity got so many members after June 25!!
so guess so many ppl maybe were fans but didnt care to come here and join

Well I got a laptop for Christmas, so I wanted to find some music to download, so I downloaded Beat It and Thriller, then later Smooth Criminal, and it just grew from there.

And this is how I remember. :D

By the way, yes it's from LimeWire, but my mum owns Thriller on cassette, Off The Wall on Vinyl, and Bad on CD.

I have Dangerous on CD.

I'm going to get the rest for Christmas to support MJ, and for the high quality audio.
 
Ive been i fan since 92. I'm 18 now going on 19 in may. My father was a big jackson five fan and so i always hear his music in the house. When i was threee my father bought me dangerous the short films on tape along with moonwalker the rest is history past, present, future book eternity lmfao.
 
Been a fan way before MJ passed. Since the late 80's or early 90's. Been a fan of MJ's almost as long i've been alive.
