TJ looks so much like his father now it's not even funny! 3T looked great. Taj needs to trim those braids though.

Prince and Paris looked great. Good job to both of them. Their dad would've been proud.

All those people who showed up wearing ridiculous outfits... all the great performances by Pink and such... nothing matters. It's about MJ3

Also people should note that how well these kids speak and carry themselves proper. That's all Michael's doing. Of course we are gonna notice their mannerisms are more like MJ because we are his fans and watched his every move. (regular folk won't see that..lol). So that tells me right there that Michael raised his babies. Not nannies or helpers but Michael.

For them to not have really gone on alot of stages at all. They done well. If those children were not raised right..they could not do that. But Michael made sure they had good friends and family around. They are more smart than what people think. I think they know alot of what Michael was going through and when they get older gonna lay some knowledge on the media.:wub:

I have no idea. Most of the people who sang at the Grammys tonight couldn't carry a tune. Tpain with his auto tune crap, and then Taylor Swift was so off key and sounded horrible to me. When they introduced her, it was like she's some extraordinary singer/songwriter. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't she write songs about teenager love/angst? Okay. And then she won album of the year? Seriously??? Wow.

As for Prince and Paris, they are such beautiful, well-mannered, intelligent children. You can just tell Michael taught them very well. I'm so proud of them. I got emotional during the performance tonight, then the standing ovation, just thinking about people understanding Michael and his message, and feeling sad that he wasn't there. Then when the kids came on, I really got emotional. Prince even thanked US, Michael's fans! How sweet was that? He knew how much we meant to Michael and how much he meant and still means to us. He did remind me of Michael when he was talking tonight. God bless Michael's beautiful children. :angel:

NEW YORK – In a mix of the mystical and gimmicky, Michael Jackson posthumously paid tribute to both Mother Earth and 3-D video on Sunday's Grammy Awards telecast.
The occasion was a lifetime achievement award for Jackson from the Recording Academy.
But the much-awaited spectacle was the 3-D live-and-film number with the King of Pop heard performing his "Earth Song," accompanied by on-stage stars as well as images from nature that had multitudes of Grammycast viewers peering through the red-and-blue-lensed 3-D glasses they scored beforehand from their local Target store.
This big event arrived about two-thirds into CBS' three-hour live shindig from Los Angeles' Staples Center.
It was introduced by Lionel Richie, who said the performance was meant by Jackson as a call to action against the destruction of Nature and animals by humans.
The performance began with footage of waterfalls and rain forests with Jackson heard declaring, "I respect the secrets and magic of Nature," as the song began its message of preserving the planet.
The lyrics were affecting enough: "Did you ever stop to notice all the blood we've shed before? Did you ever stop to notice this crying Earth, its weeping shores?"
But with the sight of a little girl blowing the seeds of a dandelion seemingly right into a viewer's living room, every viewer had to be captivated — at least, viewers with the 3-D glasses.
Viewers without glasses saw slightly offset red and greenish images. Not so captivating.
In turn, the background panoramic visuals were supplemented by onstage singers Celine Dion, Usher, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and Smokey Robinson to powerful effect — and, when captured at the proper angles, they stood in distinct 3-D relief against the film background.
Through it all, Jackson reigned in photos across the sprawling panorama.
As Richie explained in his introduction, the performance piece was produced as a key element of Jackson's planned comeback concerts in London in July 2009 — shows that never happened because of his June 25 death in Los Angeles.
A part of the clip was included in Jackson's movie documentary "This Is It," but the full production of "Earth Song" had not been seen before and was billed by the Grammys as the first time an awards show had featured such a 3-D sequence.
Of course, the 3-D effect, however much still a novelty, is no stranger to TV. A year ago, NBC aired an episode of its action-adventure series "Chuck" in 3-D, as well as a commercial during the Super Bowl promoting the animated feature "Monsters vs. Aliens."
Recently, two major cable networks — ESPN and Discovery — said they plan to start beaming 3-D entertainment into homes regularly.
And earlier in the day Sunday in Britain, pub-goers in nine pubs became the first public audiences to witness a live sports event broadcast in 3-D as they watched a soccer match: Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-1.

Michael Jackson's eldest children spread a simple – yet powerful – message at Sunday's Grammy Awards while accepting their late father's Lifetime Achievement Award midway through the live telecast.

"Through all his songs, [our father's] message was simple: love," Prince Michael, 12, said on stage at the Staples Center, surrounded by his cousins and sister Paris, 11. "We will continue to spread his message and help the world."

In an emotional moment during a performance-heavy telecast, the late King of Pop's children thanked fans for their support after Jackson's death on June 25. "We are proud to accept this award on behalf of our father," Prince Michael said. "We'd like to thank God for watching over us for these past seven months and our grandma and grandpa for their love and support. We would also like to thank the fans; our father loved you so much because you were always there for him."

His sister, Paris, who gave a touching tribute to her father at his memorial service over the summer, told the crowd, "Daddy was going to perform this here [last year]," then said, "Thank you. We love you, Daddy."

Moments earlier, Lionel Richie introduced the segment, which began with a powerhouse collaboration, featuring Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion and Smokey Robinson, who sang Jackson's "Earth Song" backed by images of nature and featuring vocals recorded by Jackson. The segment was also filmed in 3-D, with glasses available for viewers to pick up from Target before the show.

"In the song we're about to hear, Michael beautifully expresses the need for our humanity to be in greater harmony with Mother Earth," Richie said.

"Earth Song" was scheduled to be included in Jackson's July 2009 comeback concerts in London, and part of the video clip was included in the recent documentary, This Is It. It also marks the first time an awards show featured a 3-D performance.

Before Sunday's Grammy Awards, the late singer's father, Joe Jackson, expressed pride that his grandchildren would be at the ceremony, representing the family.

"I am very proud that my son, Michael Jackson, is a recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award at this year's Grammys," he said. "I am very proud of my grandchildren. Katherine and I are the ones that [have] initiated their participation."

I know Paris looks like Deb, but she also has a stark resemblance to LaT (just take a look at some photos of her when she was much younger). Why do you think Paris looks so beautiful?lol.

I'm glad the kids have each other. There is hardly anything that can compare to sibling love (with the clear exception of the love a parent has for his/her child).

Yep and she was also jammin' to Scream at the MTV Awards. Don't let anybody fool you. Beyonce is a fan.

9:52 p.m. - Get your 3-D glasses ready, folks. Lionel Richie is introducing the Michael Jackson tribute.

9:54 p.m. - Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson and Usher will be singing along with Michael Jackson on "Earth Song."

9:58 p.m. - The 3-D effects are pretty much a bust to those of us watching here, but Beyonce is grooving with her glasses on at Staples Center.

10:00 p.m. - The actual performance, though, pretty well brings the house down. As does Prince and Paris Jackson coming on stage to accept a lifetime achievement award.

What a beautiful tribute. The kids were nervous but did a great job. Michael is proud of them since he sees everything now. Paris has a no-nonsense look and the media better be beware of her. She means business. As soon as the kids left the stage, I turned the TV off because I was only interested in the tribute. I am glad to share this experience with you fans.
