When it comes to "King of Pop" Michael Jackson, don't mess with Justin Bieber. The teen singing sensation was one of many guests on "20/20" Friday talk talking about how the legendary singer influenced his life -- however, he wasn't altogether pleased with some of the show's more controversial segments.
Bieber shared his thoughts in a post on his Twitter account:
"im glad to be a part of the 20/20 michael jackson special but i wish they would cut the nonsense and focus on the great entertainer he was."
During the special ABC aired footage from a member of the paparazzi taken while Jackson was being carted away to the hospital. Some felt it inappropriate for Michael's final hours to be documented, even more so than frequently discussing some of his legal woes.

I wouldn't use the word "critcize", but I do admire Justin Bieber for what he said about Michael, that the media should quit all this bullcrap and focus on what he truly is...a greatest entertainer ever.

He's very right. I agree.
But then again this is something we've all been saying so I'm not going to like...praise him over this. But I'm glad he realizes this and spoke up, it's great to see one more person who sees this about the media.

lol like many of you hes making it harder to hate him when he comments like this.

Hes right though they shouldn't focus on the low points in Michael's life but what a kick ass entertainer he was/still is.

20/20 suck crabs big time i was so damn fed up last night me and my girls threw things at the tv we was so ready to run up on both interviewers big up to dateline for keeping it real with Mrs.Jackson looking real flawless and keeping it so down to earth i see MJ has a lot of his mother ways in him :toofunny: Marc was dragged by the interviewer on dateline when he ask him did Michael know you was a producer of kind of porn and he just dragged poor Marc even thro he did what he did in the pass he has my blessings for hooking this dateline interview up with Mrs.Jackson i am so glad that her bond with debbie is strong and killed all that hate rumors the media stay trying to throw out there...As for 20/20 Mrs. Faye i want to really snatch your wig off for just letting that interviewer dragged you with all them unworthy question about MJ weight loss how he wasn't in control and how nothing body paid attention to his problems etc blah blah all three of you fools gets no love from me...

miley cyrus said the same thing when michael first passed about how he was a good person and the media knows nothing about his personal life and its none of their business

I love that he said this and was tweeting about MJ yesterday. Bieber has so many teeny fans and now they'll know Justin thinks MJ is great, so they'll have to check Michael out too.

(LOL, my husband just said that then they'll realize, "Hey, wait a minute! Michael Jackson is better than Justin Bieber! Why didn't I know this before?!" .... Ah, another fan is born :giggle:)

god i so agree with you about that karen faye crap and the splicing what the heck they spliced the video not the audio and they did that say we could see all aspects of the film that was taken . course she couldnt see it in that way,kind of dramatic dont you think?

Very well said. He keeps getting more and more respected. He has a good head on his shoulders. It's nice to see such a young artist respecting Michael. :)

Wow!! That's the smartest thing he's ever said! Justin Bieber to my eyes was an annoying arrogant jerk who taught he was the greatest in the world... well that hasen't changed much after all i've seen on him lol, but he's really marking alot of points here! I might have a different look on him in the future...
