Katherine is obviously a grieving woman. As for the comments made regarding plastic surgery and drugs, I won't even comment.
I watched the news today and all they had to say was "Michael Jackson was addicted to drugs and plastic surgery", and it was enough to desperately wish I were often numb.
So, imagine in Michael's case, with the sheer mental and physical abuse he had to endure, then the emotional abuse taken from the media, the damned industry, from most of his friends who betrayed him, and others.... many many others, from companies to sheer clueless people... then, proceeding with his low esteem who was fueled by somebody, as well as the jealous people hurting when saying they don't recognize him anymore, from his skin conditions fueling the very low self-esteem already, from the varied emotional and physical pains he endured, i.e. from the damned Pepsi incident (was it incident really..?, to the 1999 bridge collapse, which almost destroyed his back spine, from betrayal upon betrayal, from the often depression he felt when suffering for the children of this world which he admitted, the sleepless, restless nights he had occupied his mind with by means of writing songs, reading, watching TV, anything to divert him from his thoughts... from the varied threats he received in his life, either from companies, or humans (?...) like the Chandlers and Arvizos, emotional pain from personal relationships that hurt him, being sued left and right, often just for money and fame and greed and revenge etc., from the invisible enemy trying hard to destroy him, from the 1993 accusations which visibly ruined his life, from the restlessness he felt trying to discern between good and bad, between a foe and a friend, the fiends and the angels, the 2005 trial, the ultimate latest betrayals, the AEG threats, the fame pressures, the ever-working mind and heart of his and more........ anyone would have perished decades ago and became an ongoing addict. Which Jackson never was, and I don't even need that autopsy to tell me that. He wanted to be trusted on this.... and he never was. He needed some medication at points in his life, otherwise, he wouldn't have made it. But he had much more faith and love than medication (which everyone loves to call drugs), and very very often abstained and made superhuman efforts to do so for his children and fans.... his children didn't even know their father was being tried and acused of the things he was when alive... What else? And he wasn't an addict in the latest years of his life, and when he was in 1993 and admitted to that, and probably some other time, when Sony was destroying him and still does, and had every right to appease his pain. he wasn't trying to get a damn fix. He suffered hard, damn it! He felt he was ugly, because OTHERS made him think that and made fun of him.
Also, for the record, his plastic surgery was him doing things that would divert his violence from other people, like he said in those tapes: instead of taking it out on others, he took it out on himself. He preferred to destroy himself (which he didn't...) rather than others, especially children. The surgeries were done out of HURT, not vanity! It was a deep ravaging giant worm eating him from inside, that he chose to exorcize by means of this and art. He was the least violent person ever, even though the others didn't deserve him turning the cheek. Can anyone imagine the ongoing hurt he felt that others choose to exploit to the maximum? Does anyone care he always put others before himself, and the grand demonstrations that he made, i.e. the History statue were his hurt speaking volumes, the hurt subsequent to the 1993 abuse. Imagine being scrutinized by the whole world. Imagine surviving all that, and as dignified as he did, imagine trying to put on the smile he always did, faking it for the others, so we know that he's alright when he often wasn't, imagine to not only suffer so much, but to also try to hide this for his children especially.
The interview was heavily edited, and even that couldn't hide Prince's frustration. His gestures marked that and his answers were on point and clear, especially the one about the masks. Little Blanket and his sweet self... My heart hurts. And then Paris... They are going to be in my prayers for as long as I live, because his father is also living in them. And God. They have this strength. I for one, being at least a decade older than them and I wouldn't have contained my anger toward people like Oprah. They are the only ones to completely trust and I rely on them a lot, with my grieving process and all, and they don't have to appear anywhere, and I hope they will all leave these wonderful children in peace to continue living their childhood, and not nurse that deep, insurmountable pain their father nursed since "childhood".
I'll just like to post this extract of the audio interview Teddy Riley did recently. Although he doesn't know what he's talking about at times, regarding the Breaking News song, saying that it's Michael in it and even though some of his ways are forced, and his latest Twitter replies are dubious, he often had valuable things to say:
"If someone knew about certain things that he would do that was against him, you know, that he shouldn’t be doing, he would exit them. Yeah, he would exit them. […] He doesn’t – he would not do it around his friends or he wouldn’t do it around family. […] He doesn’t mind company, he loooves company. So, he – as long as a friend is around, he would not do it. He would stay in and take the pain, because he was in a lot of pain. He was in a lot of pain – and that pain from his skin disorder, you know… It (sic) was so much going on with Michael that he was in a lot of, I mean, when he was in a lot of pain, he felt like he had to do the drugs, but if somebody was around, he would just stay and, you know, not do, you know, what he had to do. […] He would make the sacrifice - there you go. […]"
Michael yearned to be normal, Paris confirmed so, that he was a normal dad and strived to be that way for them, tried to conceal his status from them, they remembered the most common and simple of things, another testiment of his nature, so many confirmed that, as well as so many actions of his: staying humble and mingling with anonymous people and wanting to know how they live, what they do, etc...etc...
Yeah, what else is there to say? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I hate making it seem like I'm putting somebody human on a pedestal when I am not, but I am simply stating things that are true about Jackson and what his eyes and actions, for instance, express, and it's enough for me to draw all the conclusions above. I despise having to defend Michael again and again... but he's not here anymore... And he was one attacked by the too many around the world and he still is and it's too much to bear not to say anything or few things.
I, personally, will pray for the Jackson family, because they're shrouded by an evil wave, and am attacking that wave, not them... I know what the enemy can do. But I, personally, won't care what anybody on this whole wide planet will continue to say about him, except for his children and what I know it's true, like all the above and more.
