I knew it right from the beginning - god damn, sometimes the MJ fans wanne be so perfect but they end up being so god damn ignorant and even stupid sometimes because they start to believe every crap and let themselves manipulate by the media and everything being told outside!
Deal with it now, it is MJ! Surely not 100% (they also mention this in the very first post) but that's just normal, tho, because Mike isn't alive anymore so they can't just take Michael's voice, a hundred percent only by Mike and nothing else - this is not possible!

We have to stop this ignorance, selfish way of thinkin and all of these speculations over and over again for every lil sh*t that comes out by MJ!

BN is from Michael Jackson, at least more than I'd say 60-70% - deal with it, love it or hate it, it is MJ!!!

The statement didn't say anything. And I'll keep believing what my ears hear...and I don't hear Michael Jackson.
I don't know how some of you can change your mind after reading this statement...are you listening to a different song now?

I am not buying and I am not happy either. Actually this is so depressing, an MJ release after waiting for so long, what a shame.

I am not gonna buy an official product under Sony Label that is mixed with impersonators. In fact such an album SHOULD NEVER BE RELEASED even if it containes just one fake song. After fake tracks get officially released then they automatically BECOME part of MJ's work in the public's mind and this is unacceptable because it ain't the truth. He should be criticised for HIS work, NOT an impersonator's.

Plus it is a principle thing to me also. How can I pay money to someone that tried to fool me?

I really REALLY wish people would stop saying that. Our opinions are based on our hearing, before Monday morning we were anti Jackson family and we were on Sony's side! If I have to make that clear one more time I think i'll go insane.

But even if we were listening to the Jackson family and what they are saying, how would that be any different to you all believing this statement? ;D


Its as simple as this, if Sony want to prove the songs are real. Reveal the raw demo to us. Thats all they have to do and this whole thing would be cleared up. . . .They wont do that though because no raw demo exists.

The entire song is made up of samples from unreleased MJ songs, and samples of his ad libs from already heard MJ songs.

This entire week has been a massive blur, like im living in the twilight zone.
 
Just to be absolutely certain, I also contacted Jason Malachi, a young singer who some persons had wrongfully alleged was a “soundalike” singer that was hired to sing on the Cascio tracks, and I confirmed that he had no involvement with this project whatsoever.

I thought they were already 100% sure it's Michael, so why the urgent need to contact JM and ask if he was involved with the project :giggle:

Just like Teddy Riley said on twitter: STAY A FAN OF MJ NOT THE SONG IF YOU DON'T LIKE. THERE ARE LOTS OF SONGS MJ MADE THAT R NOT LIKED BUT THE REAL FANS STILL SUPPORT.

But I think it does clarify one thing: it's not only MJ there. As you say, we must keep believing our ears. We were right.

But also, this statement is good enough to leave "quiet" people believing BN is only MJ and those of us believing it's not only MJ.

What a mess. If there were any doubts, being this such an important step, the first step to the new "era", it must have been as perfect and clean as possible. Now we are entering a new era with a bag full of lies, shadows, conspiracies, fights and dissappointment and confusion.

The statement is bs. I don't care what these producers, record exec's say. I've been a fan of MJ for the past 20 years, listening to his music practically every other day. The lead vocals on the Cascio tracks are NOT Michael Jackson. I truly despair when so many people in the fan community are willing to bury their head in the sand. Wake up people, we don't have long to act before this album will be released and damage the legacy Michael Jackson.

Poor Michael, he must be turning in his grave.

Statement or no statement, I won't change what I hear and feel: I keep listening to Breaking News in the hope that I'll warm to it and/or hear something new which casts away my doubt. No change yet: sadly, this doubt will remain forevermore now -BN has been tainted and I'll NEVER fully accept it.

IMO it should be removed from the album as it is beyond comprehension that this many fans/critics could be wrong: it isn't 100% Michael and thus should NOT be put on an album, ironically, titled MICHAEL.

I can't help but feel suspicious, like we've been duped big time, and this really is NOT the feeling ANY fan should have prior to the release of ANY MJ album, posthumous or otherwise - it's a disaster which I don't feel has been resolved AT ALL well...

*sigh*

Perhaps because Sony/The Estate know that some MJ 'fanatics' will try to come from every angle possible, so they wanted to cover every bit of spurious speculation, no matter how ridiculous?

I bet they are dreading the day a report comes out in the 'National Enquirer' that;

"We have proof Michael Jackson is alive and Sony sent him to the Moon!"

and they then have to send someone up there - as Michael Jackson 'fans' are demanding it; "or we will never buy anymore Michael Jackson albums/DVD's from Sony!"

The statement made no mention of John McClain not believeing it was MJ?

Lets say it is MJ and i'm wrong, any song that needs that investigating and analyzing the detrmine whether it is MJ or not should not be on the album either way.

I think I heard once that one human brain is more powerful than 20 computers.

the feeling is you might believe i'm not interested in keeping up MJ's legacy. i am very interested in keeping up his legaacy. i buy his music all the time. i lost dangerous and bad ain history, so i will rebuy them, as downloads. i will also rebuy botdf..
i've bought these before, but much traveling meant lost cds. now, i can be assured of not losing the music, when i rebuy them as mp3s. then i will be buying videos. because all his music from This Is It on back is timeless to me. and i'm sure i'll rebuy it, because there will always come necessity to rebuy it for whatever reason. i love this music, and i want MJ's kids to thrive.

'ROFL!' You seem to find yourself pretty funny. Do you just sit in your room making jokes to yourself and then going into hysterics?

After having all these tests done on the song which they seem to think are so reliable, they would not feel the need to contact Malachi.

I think I gathered from the statement that they are taking the fans doubt into consideration and will make a decision on the inclusion of the songs.....Doesnt mean they will remove the songs from the album. But it didnt really seem like they were just saying 'Too bad the songs are staying whether you like it or not'.

Were all Cascio tracks checked by the same people they said they had on BN? Or this one got a special treatment? We don't have a chance to listen to the rest of them God knows how awful fake they might sound

I can agree with you about the vocals not being a 100% MJ, but that's also everything I agree with you about... Michael did not finish the song so it's only logical that they had to do some work on it, add backing vocals and additional co-vocals.... they wanted a commercial product that they could sell to millions of people and not an album of half finished demos... some people might see that as a bad thing, I do not!

What concrete evidence do we have? Only a MASSIVE corporation with more money than sense, who could easy bribe and create biased reports to dismiss any challenges they face.

And you are always going on about people keeping their opinions to themselves (regarding pre-order cancellations), why can't you just say you're going to buy the album and stop biting peoples heads off for saying anything different??
